7961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Broke my heart. on: May 30, 2018, 10:43:53 PM
it looks like EOS is a serious rival for Ethereum, but not to worry because EOS will not be able to exceed bitcoin.

Yes, it was being brought up as a competition of ETH so I wouldn't be surprised if they are being pumped as of the moment and Bitcoin and Ethereum is suffering.

I can feel the OP, seeing that Bitcoin is no longer at the top, but hey, we all know that those alt coins can't really go up against our beloved Bitcoin, maybe they have. their 5 minutes of fame, but we are not moved or shook by this price movement because history tells us otherwise. Just relax man, nothing to worry about. We will bounce back, believed that.
7962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time To Sell Alts For Bitcoin? on: May 30, 2018, 10:15:03 PM
CME listing seems to be making bitcoins value go up almost almost as if its a fork coming up. How many of you are selling all alt coins at the moment for bitcoin?

First of all you need to know: Altcoin is a coin, BTC is also a coin and both prices are fluctuating. So when the ETH price of 0.08BTC is not sure when the ETH is higher when it is 0.07BTC, it depends on the price of BTC when it is. I bought ETH at 0.0684 BTC, it's about $ 194 USD, now it's about 0.0691 BTC, but it's worth $ 308. If you look at Altcoin / BTC you will see alt coin is very bottom, but as it was written Above, its USD price is not sure where.

First of all you also need to know that the OP opened this thread when bitcoin was at its peaked, Hence his question about selling all our alts for bitcoin because there's where the money it. So obviously, at that time it was the correct decision because bitcoin really exploded at almost get to reached $20K.

But at this time, its no longer applicable, bitcoin is down and most of the alts are good investment because they are cheap and you can really do day trading and flipping it out to get a good profits. Just choose coins that has a low price and just ride it out specially when the price is being pump and then BOOM!!! sold off everything when your investment grow about twice or thrice.
7963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans banks from using cryptocurrencies on: May 30, 2018, 09:28:57 PM
But the funny part is, their Central Banks banks using crypto for the reason that they deemed that crypto can be used by criminals, however, they are allowing their experimental coins, which for me is going to be used to circumvent the trade embargo against them, similar to what Venezuelan government are doing. How ironic is it.

So let's see how it goes for their so called experimental coins, but I'm pretty sure that once its completed, it will be used by their central government to evade sanctions by US against them and we will see how they are going to defend themselves.
7964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 30, 2018, 06:52:16 PM

The Cleveland Cavaliers former players Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas, Dwayne Wade and Derrick Rose are eligible to received a championship ring if the Cavaliers will win the 2018 NBA Finals despite the players traded to other teams.

Any players, staff who is under contract during the season will earn a ring whether they finish with the team or not. Of course with approval by the team and the player itself first.

Looks like Derrick Rose solid fans will be happy here but the questioned is, how much is the chances that Cavaliers will win the series against the most deadly team in the NBA?

Oh that would be cool. I also read Jae Crowder twitter about James when they won against the Boston Celtics. So I guess he has still mad respect on the King. Same with Dwade, we all know that they won championship as Miami.

It would be interesting for Derrick Rose, we all know how he used to be one of the greats before that unfortunate injury that slow him down, so it would be nice to see him get ring, that is, if ever James and the Cavs get over GSW in the finals.
7965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: May 30, 2018, 06:31:58 PM
Just curious to read some addict or former addict stories and probably some of us like me will be glad to see how things actually did roll in for them during this period and I believe some other persons tending towards that path can also learn from it. Also, if you have a friend or relative you can speak for, it would be appreciated.

Personally, this is what I would like to know though.

1. How did you find yourself ending up to become an addict? What instigated it to the point that you just found yourself not being able to control the impulse any longer? What was the feeling like and during those period of being an addict, did you know and were you willing to pop out of it?

I would say that gambling is part of our culture. My father was a gambler, although not an addict and occasionally, I would sit with my relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, friends) to play card games. However, about 10 years ago, I started to go to gambling casino to play and that's how it all started. I can't really explain the feeling, but its like a someone is really telling inside of you to go and play specially upon waking up. Well, when all money stops coming in, then I don't have the funds to fuel my addiction so that made me stop.

2. What were the steps you took or the steps you are taking to get out from it, and on the scale of 1 to 10, how can you rate how you are doing now?

I would say 7-8. Although I'm still going to casino today, but its not like before. Maybe I learn my lessons the hard way not to take advantage of easy money and save for the future. Or maybe I change my priorities in life.

3. For those who are out of it, do you still gamble or still wish you could? In the case where you are still gambling, how do you want to make sure what happened initially does not end up repeating itself.

4. Any other thing you feel you can add is welcome.

If you hit rock bottom you will started to realised that gambling will not bring you any good at the end. So better quit while you can, or at least control or limit yourself.
7966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOD NEWS to Earn Money on: May 30, 2018, 06:02:04 PM
I am so happy to sticky with bitcoin because when I join bitcoin currency I have pound my position high and we can see most of countries live under  poverty line. they have gotten rise of that position when they join bitcoin

But please remember that bitcoin is not the solution for poverty. It may have help others to earn a decent profit but it shouldn't be look as the magic beans, a quick rich scheme, you still needed some brains in order to gain precious bitcoin.

Well probably we dont know whats the real fact but if it really does so its a good news to everyone and hopefully bitcoin will still be a survivor in many years to come.

The thread was opened several months ago and the OP must be referring to the Coincheck hacked, so I think its true. Although its not really a good news because it will put a lot of pressure on the prices back then, but is a good time to enter the market because of the opportunity to get it when it's cheap.
7967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below 8000 time to buy now on: May 29, 2018, 08:14:37 PM
Bitcoin is very low today even 7700 buck...do you think is good time to buy now or will more lower and crash to 3000 buck...very difficult to predict...what do you think... Who t f is selling on this price.....?....
You can be completely relaxed at the moment, can see that bitcoin prices in recent days are increasing continuously and there are no signs of decline, is currently adjusted to $ 9300. According to my analysis, the bitcoin price will probably hit $ 11000 in the coming days and the market is uptrend so you can trade without risking too much.

Not all the time. The market is swinging constantly. meanwhile,  it will be better to get your Bitcoins now, as the time of a great and long bull run is coming.

Well its starting to bounce back again after getting as low as $7.2 few hours ago. I hope though that everyone has bought in this dip otherwise this kind of opportunity will not present itself for a long time.

Although it didn't hit the $11K value as what the above posters has said, its good to see the price somewhat bouncing back again after market correction in the last 4-5 days due to US DOJ doing some investigations on trading malpractices.

Its been trading around $7.4-$7.5 and a 3% gain which is something. Might not be the bull run that we all been expecting, but nice to see the price going into the green and most people can stop worrying about the price for now.
7968  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [28-05-2018] Crypto trading addiction centre opens on: May 29, 2018, 07:49:41 PM
Nah, I wouldn't check myself on those addiction centres, but thanks though. I have full control of emotions although its really addictive most of the time but their no secret here. You just have to say 'No" and control yourself, specially crypto trading.

And its much better to control our crypto trading addiction. Just don't like at the price that often and I'm sure that you will be fine. But gambling addiction? Thanks lots of efforts and control and you need your family for support.

But its nice to hear that there are centres around to help people cope with their addictions but I'm not going to be one of their clientele.
7969  Other / Off-topic / Re: BYE BYE BTC on: May 29, 2018, 07:25:01 PM
Bitcoin is old, outdated, slow and uses too much energy. The price will soon be brought down to a level where miners will abandon it. Prices will continue to be kept lower due to CME futures.

And then what? Miners with all of their computing power with suddenly shift to Bitcoin Cash, hmmm, where the price is below $1K or even mine alt coins but will they got the ROI they wanted to?

Bitcoin future contracts already did impact the price, but I don't think that you can single them out as the main reason why the price is going down the pipe. Regulations all over the world is one of them, but it doesn't mean the bitcoin will just die down, we will recover and no matter what kind of FUD or attacks, it will stand up and prove all of its doubters wrong again.
7970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 29, 2018, 06:55:32 PM
Again, Golden State Warriors turned the game upside down during the third quarter outscoring the Houston Rockets by 33 to 15. They able to cut down the lead and came back from 15 points deficit. Again, same scenario happened last Game 6 where GSW was downed by 17 and third quarter is the turning point. Right now, GSW are the king of third quarter as Warriors becoming a warrior always at that quarter.

Houston Rockets have a momentum prior to halftime but didn't managed to maintained it. They are literally choked. We can see the room left by Chris Paul especially during making plays.

Cmon, will Capela cry for a rigged game? Harden cannot even be a sportsman and shake hands with GSW.
It is just a close fight and both played well. Some are just better.

James Harden is a dissapointment. He didn't have a balls to pay for respect. He just came out of the court after the buzzer sounds and never did engage on a friendly handshake after the game. Their shooting is horrible after the halftime so no one to blamed here. Yes there are missed calls but the refs don't control their goals if it will be shoot or not. I understand his frustration but at least he should showed respect for the last time. His a MVP contender this year and yet his attitude is like that.

I'm pretty sure that he will be toasted by the media today or tomorrow with his attitude. Perhaps they thrash talk too much but wasn't able to back it up specially Game 7 wherein he missed a lot of crucial shots that should have turn the game over.

Its understandable with Chris Paul though, he wasn't able to contribute any, But Harden, how many times we seen him choke, I still remember Manu's block on him last year, hahahaha. So he is not just a disappointed, but as I have said, even though he may took the MVP this year, he is not on a level of Lebron James or Steph Curry or even Kevin Durant. Those guys don't choke but deliver in crucial games.
7971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: May 29, 2018, 06:22:48 PM
While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.

Yes, its been one of the most important lessons to learn. You need to set aside, your exit plan and execute it at the dot otherwise you might end up losing. We have seen newbies making this mistakes over and over again, as if they are not contented on how much they are going to profit and keep on waiting for the price to go up.

So the sooner you learn this lesson, the better for you. Personally if I have invested a good amount and I see that my capital is somewhat doubled already, I usually get out take my profits and invest on other coins.
7972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 29, 2018, 06:10:14 PM
Hack a Capella. Wow they really did it for so many times and it did work now like a charm.
Congratulations to GSW for winning the WCF.
I hope Iguodala can play against the Cavs. I want to see that muscle to muscle bumping of Lebron if it will work with him Grin.

To those who says it is rigged cause both played until game 7. Cmon, will Capela cry for a rigged game? Harden cannot even be a sportsman and shake hands with GSW.
It is just a close fight and both played well. Some are just better.

Houston fought all the way, but just its not really their time yet. I also noticed Capela trying and Chris Paul very disappointed about the result, its looks though at the first two quarters that they are going to take it, however, GSW really took the third quarter and out scored them again.

And then their big 3 put a massive display of scoring, KD really put a dagger with his shooting and Klay and Curry putting the finishing touches. As for AI, he really did a good job last year against Lebron but its going to be KD or Green on James this time around.

As for James Harden, I don't think he has the quality or the level with Curry and Lebron as he chokes, missing a lot of shot in your home court and in Game 7.
7973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 28, 2018, 10:58:37 PM
With the Cavaliers win over Celtics, Lebron will always gonna be Lebron. To be honest i'm not really a fan of this guy but I won't deny he is really one of the best player in NBA history. As for getting the ring, IMO if Rockets enter the Finals, Cavs has a better chance in getting the ring but if GSW will be their opponent, they have a lesser chance.

If Golden State won Game 7 against Houston. We will see the same outcome as last year. Kevin Durant will go and guard Lebron one on one and they will put a clamp on their starters. But they have Klay and Curry to offset James scoring.

Against Houston, I don't think that anyone can stop Lebron. Maybe we can see him doing low post play and then fadeaway.

So let's wait for Golden State and Houston Rockets Game 7. I'm sure that Cavs are watching closely and getting ready as to who are they going to face in the Finals. But yeah, most probably, Cavs has better chances of getting the trophy if they are going to go against Houston Rockets.
7974  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-28]Credibility Threat: Monero Mining Malware Attacks Macs on: May 28, 2018, 10:20:28 PM
What? I just bought my Mac three days ago and the reason that I bought it is that it's less prone to attacks and exploits. And reading this article makes me really thinks that no one is really safe from this mining malware.

Although I'm not experiencing any symptoms of such attacks, but I will try to do research and see if my Mac has been infected already. I guess everyone needs to be careful above the sites that you are visiting and any symptoms should be taken seriously. Those hackers are really that good and one step ahead of the game.
7975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 28, 2018, 09:54:21 PM
... but in spite of this achievement, I think their dream ends here as there is no way that they can win the Championship itself regardless of who makes it to the finals.

We can't peculate that early based on the cover of the book. Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are really a monster team and obviously they are the favorites against the Cavaliers in the NBA finals but still, even the hardcore NBA analyst, can't say who will prevail because upset really happened. There are lots of speculations that didn't happend this season and playoffs so I suggest to not jump on conclusion.

Take a look at some of the players update for both Warriors and Rockets ahead of their bout later on...

Golden State Warriors
*Patrick McCaw (lumbar spine recovery)
*Kevon Looney (sore left toe)
*Andre Iguodala (left lateral leg contusion)

Houston Rockets
*Chris Paul (right hamstring strain)

McCaw is planned for Game 6 return so I guess he will played on Game 7 depends on the game situation. Kevon Looney is still questionable. Andrea Igoudala now officially out for Game 7.

Chris Paul will be a game time decision so still it's not clear.

Injuries really destroying the thrilling part of every game whew. Like to see both teams on healthy status so no reasons at all after the deciding game.

We can see the power of the coaches with this missing players. How are they going to change game plans with a blank on their players.
McCaw already played the garbage time at Game 6 and he is really doing good now.

People should really give Lebron James the outmost respect in the basketball world. He has carried an average Cavaliers team on his back to the finals but in spite of this achievement, I think their dream ends here as there is no way that they can win the Championship itself regardless of who makes it to the finals.
As Jeff Van Gundy says. "When will the National Media give Tyronn Lue the respect he deserve." Why is it always just Lebron to get that respect. It aint easy to control those players and he is doing a good job right now.
Respect to that coach must be the one given at first before the players. Injuries and trades. He made a lot of adjustments just so the team will still get better and now they will be waiting for the Finals.

Specially during the times that Cavaliers is really struggling to get a win when Kyrie left. Everyone thought that coach Tyron will also be fired off because of their successive losses.

But look at where they are right now. Just sad though that no matter what you do media will not give you the fair share and respect that they deserve. Look at Kenny though, he said that Celtics will win and there's no way that Lebron will get Game 7. And then after the Cavs win, he said that he is not surprised that the Cavs won. Lol.
7976  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-26] South African Police Investigate $80 Million Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme on: May 27, 2018, 07:19:38 PM
~

“Members of the public are believed to have been targeted as part of the scam and encouraged by BTC Global agents to invest with promises of 2 percent interest per day, 14 percent per week and ultimately 50 percent per month.

how can anyone believe in these kinds of returns? I know there are a lot of people who invest in hyip sites and look at the hyip sites as a game, but here we are talking about 30,000 people, how the heck have so many people been deluded with this project? because I have not seen so much advertising on the internet, so how can they have reached 30,000 people?

Unfortunately many people still believe in such things. Just recently I was reading an article about an ICO and there was a comment to the article: "I transferred 0.5 BTC to [name of the website] and I received 1.5 BTC 7 days later". And there were 3 comments from different "people" confirming that it works. That's how they do the business now, they don't even need to advertise.  Greed blinds people, makes them lose common sense and they fall for it. I thought after MMM it will be pointless to create such schemes, but apparently I was wrong.

Yes, there are a lot of gullible individuals who's mind see's potential dollar amount, however, they became blinded, their decisions are clouded and eventually succumb to one of this HYIP, Ponzi and its too late before they know that they have been scammed.

And its all over now, a lot of crooks are taking advantage of this situation, but the problem is that people still fall for it. And as much as we call them out at the beginning, they won't listen and then bitch out later that its bitcoin fault. Just sad, but there's no one to blame but themselves for falling for this trap.
7977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 27, 2018, 07:00:44 PM
bitcoin is expected to Perform Great Performance in 2018 at the end of the year and I remain positive and believe bitcoin will remain a digital asset in the future.

We should really hold on and wait for the market to make a break out this year. Yes the market seems to struggle but I have no doubt that it can bounce back and the price can go even further. So with that said, I also remain positive that bitcoin can soar again specially before the end of 2018.

I get that no one can really know what the future holds, but then again, I would believe on this good prediction about Bitcoin because these are from experienced people who studied the historical facts and trend of Bitcoin and stated that it can happen, it has a great probability. These news gives sparks of hope to all of us against all those FUDs negativity and false news about Bitcoin.

Yes, there are way more bullish predictions this year as compare to fake news and FUDs. However, there's also those people who wanted to scare investors. They really have their own agenda behind, or really hate crypto's that why they spoke negatively about it, like Warren Buffet and even Bill Gates.
7978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the pump channel !!! on: May 27, 2018, 06:35:59 PM
Yeah it's true I think all those PUMP channel is a damn big loser. I joined every pump channel and Observing all those PUMP SIgnal and All signals not even reach they want to reach and all the signals are fail.

I also joined a bunch of telegram channels that states that they are offering trading signals on when to buy and where to sell to stop loss. I haven't participated in any of these so-called "trading signals" but I think these are just all pump and dump group minus the trolling (to attract outside investors" . They pump a coin and then sell it fast, the slowest one to sell will end up being ripped off.

That's the problem, when you are slow or even fast asleep on the other side of the planet, you will end up losing more at the end. What those groups do is buy those coins earlier and if they garner around 30%-50% of the market, they will call the group to pump those coins.

But then again they have invested with less capital so its easy for them to really make significant profits with just a little pump. But the unsuspecting newbies thought that he can make huge profit but the pumpers already get out before the actually dump. So for me, its absolutely makes no sense to join them.
7979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 27, 2018, 06:12:22 PM
Pressure is on Cavaliers now that Kevin Love is still out for Game 7. They cant rely only on LeBron James. Even known sports analyst is in favor of Boston Celtics to win over Cavaliers because of the absence of Kevin Love. Meanwhile, Boston Celtics is hungry for a title, their last taste of Championship was 10 years ago against Los Angeles Lakers. One is hungry for a title and one is hungry for a possible rematch with GSW.

And the last team that beat a Lebron lead team is Boston Celtics with Pierce at the helm. So the odds are against Cleveland now, Boston hasn't lost a game in their homecourt, Love not playing and the last team that stop Lebron is Celtics. So its going to be difficult for James plus the fatigue factor is catching up with him.

James has been really carrying this team all throughout the playoffs, mind blowing statistics so I speculate that at some point, his body will give him a signal that its time to rest. And unless someone from Cavs really step up, he will be again tested to his limit and just maybe his body will give up.
7980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: May 27, 2018, 05:32:37 PM
So.... how much have you win or loss gambling ?? And what did you stake ?
I've lost about $60 so far but im planning to win it back. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
A saying well said, however i still need to learn it since my greed is my downfall. Guys and girls
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?

I also gamble but I discipline and control myself so that I will not lose so much money. Learn to stop when you know that it is not your lucky day or whe you already lose alot of money. There is always another day so do not play like there is no tomorrow. You know that not all gambling is not about strategy or technique but luck. Gambling is profitable but not always.

Damn it. I was already on the losing side, but able to recover my .035 BTC bank roll but I didn't stop and continue to play and sadly I quickly and decided to quit with just .006 BTC. I should have stop when I was able to recover everything with just 4 spins.

Anyways, consider it another string of bad luck, I guess I'm greedy and wasn't able to control my emotions again. I was really thinking of quitting but thinking that I can double it again was a worst decision.
That's gambling, you win, you lose, just bear with it and just spend what you can afford to lose so it will not leave a big mark on your emotion.
Winning and losing are the two things that will happen, but most of the time we lose money because the advantage is not on us.
If you have decided to continue with gambling, you would have to bare every single loss that it brings to you because losing and winning is the part of the game and life as well and no matter if you lose today, tomorrow would be your day. Just you have to stay determined and focused as well. Smart and clever gamblers do spend the money on gambling that they can afford easily.

I understand all your concerns. Just not my lucky day and I already move and forgot all about that loss and try again if I have the funds to burn again. Some day you loss and some day you win, just how it is in gambling and I can bear with that. However, the greed factor is hard to control.

I'll try to fight it next time I'm in the same situation, just hard though that I'm was able to recover but lost it at the end. But just like I said I already move on and nothing to worry here.
