702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal blocked a member's account due to cryptocurrency trading on: December 02, 2020, 11:21:33 PM
does the user did something wrong on PayPal terms and conditions, or maybe did something against the rules?
if that's the case, I think a new company that is trying to implement something that we are doing before, will scare other people to use these platforms,
I think we should just step away from this company and use the platforms that we are not stressed or we can use freely, there is a lot to use, thanks for the information, I was thinking if I'm gonna try PayPal maybe I'll be thinking about it first.

704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra is planning to launch in January on: December 02, 2020, 10:21:57 AM
They are rebranding libra, and I think they will show that it's not even connected with Facebook, maybe they are trying to remove that bad look on the coin, but I think they have the same agenda, maybe they will be putting other people in the front just to satisfy the people and the government, but I think Facebook is still connected, I hope this time they will be able to make the government approved it.
705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers at work on: December 02, 2020, 09:40:39 AM
why would you need to deposit in the wallet in the first place if you have their wallet keys?
if their token is worth something you can send it already, at the same time if I were the one who gets the key ill just transfer enough amount for the transfer, maybe it's a new scam? I suggest just stay away from this scheme if there is any, no one will put their private keys online even scammers
that's the reckless thing a scammer will do, but thanks for the info keep safe from these schemes
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ARE NO LONGER VIABLE on: December 01, 2020, 11:09:59 PM
I think the problem here is the people who just join a bounty without even reading and making research who are these people,
I think a campaign or projects we have different people joining it let me give you who they are:

1. the first one is the investor they invest money when they believe in the project.
2. they are the bounty hunters who will join dump and leave the project
3. the believers they are the one who holds the coin even without value

at the end of the day, we must check research everything so that we will not be disappointed by the result
everything has risk,

709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What your aim in bitcointalk ? on: November 30, 2020, 02:04:25 AM
My aim is to learn from other people and share information, I may be a long time member already but I must admit that I don't know everything and here in the forum, people are sharing the knowledge they know with that, I was able to learn a lot of things, in return, I help other people in the forum.
I'm not good at research so instead of looking hard on the internet in lots of ways, here I was able to know if it's correct since others will comment on something if it's right or wrong.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Social Media Comment with link investment on: November 29, 2020, 01:28:56 PM
Guys another reminder for those who are eager to invest ask your friends, and ask for advice don't just jump in when it seems to be an opportunity,
someone posted on social media that he got scammed after investing to get the payout, the site is asking for another deposit before she can withdraw, more or less 1000 USD, I know that it's really hard since there is a pandemic, we are all struggling but please don't let others take advantage of the situation always ask other people who know better, take care guys.

713  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Capital Gains Tax on: November 25, 2020, 09:51:30 AM
so your exchange hand over your data to the authority? I think I have that coinbase also doing this if you are residing in the united kingdom, maybe this is the reason why, and I think it's not a small amount that is why they are asking for tax here is some of what I see maybe this explains it:

https://news.bitcoin.com/crypto-exchange-coinbase-hands-over-customer-data-to-uk-tax-authority/#:~:text=The%20measure%20affects%20customers%20with,the%202019%2F20%20tax%20year.&text=Coinbase%20says%20the%20HMRC%20request,U.K.%20customers%2C%20reports%20The%20Block.

Then I think if we have members there in the UK they should know this, I hope this should help.
same with what DdmrDdmr saw I also seen this one when I search it so maybe you have really transferred a lot
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alarming Unix attack is on the rise on: November 25, 2020, 07:33:31 AM
I think why a system will be hack is with the negligence of the user or the administrator of the site, Linux system is hard to crack with the firewall built in it, plus the network firewall, to able to access the system via ssh means that someone inside access the server outside and signs the certificate on the maybe infected machine, as administrator those things should be known and it's a big no to do that, malware doesn't usually run on Linux, it would probably running on a windows machine and then from thier, maybe the hacker scan the network, at the end of the day, users should not access any site they are not sure what is it, it may not run on Linux but it can run on windows if you are familiar with the movie who send a fake site to an employee to order a burger, after the user, take the order the hacker already gain access of the network and access the servers.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 25, 2020, 05:49:58 AM
This bonze scheme is like two types, in my opinion, the one disappears after you deposit, and the one is that lets you double your money in return you had an interest that it will give you more money if you invest bigger, once you are baited, they will then disappear with all the money, this is happening in an investment scheme, that us very dangerous like playing with fire, either way, you will lose.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 25, 2020, 02:56:57 AM
Never played this game, I played the one with the big wheel spinning with numbers on the wall then put your bet, that's not online though, from what I read there is a high chance if you will bet on the outside, but seriously I think this is pure luck and at the same time it is online so, there is a chance that its already program, which means if you guess the pattern of winning its will be good for you, everything has a pattern I just don't know how to read it,
for reference try to look at this one :
https://www.pokernews.com/casino/win-at-roulette.htm#:~:text=The%20best%20way%20to%20win,chances%20to%20score%20a%20win.
good luck brother I hope you all the best.
717  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful this coming Black Friday on: November 24, 2020, 04:06:42 PM
They will surely make a move during those times, also they will send promotional tactics for sure like discount and freebies, these people will use same old mistakes but sadly there are still people who never learn, and fall from the same mistake, extra cautious is okay to be safe, I hope we won't hear any scams or troubles keep safe guys
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 24, 2020, 10:59:39 AM
I'm pretty sure Tyson will come out of this fight a winner, although as we know this is not what we have expected they are both past their prime, this is just for entertainment, betting on Tyson is a good choice still fit, but in stamina, jones got an advantage so there is still a chance, he can if he will have a good strategy on the fight, can't wait for this.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 24, 2020, 04:57:35 AM
the guy can't control his emotion, maybe he thought that gambling can save him, but instead, it breaks his heart, that is why don't focus too much on gambling, its really just for fun, professionals gamblers know this, they have endured loses, I feel sad for him, I hope his family is okay, this should be a lesson for those who want to try their luck in gambling they should be prepared for what is going to happen.
720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick Help Me about scammy exchange on: November 24, 2020, 01:10:07 AM
I suggest next time to use the well-known exchange, for trading don't think of the fee's where in your token or coin is much safer, you go with poloniex or binance, and other top exchanges like what other suggestions if you can withdraw its not a scam, sometimes they have fake volumes at the end you just waste some dollars for sending and transferring , so choose your exchange wisely a few dollars will save you.
