We have again crossed 4k usd i think Q4 of 2019 can be a pump, just my 2 cents.
This will be the beginning, another test for bitcoin to surpass the $4k level but I guess this is not the right time for an up trend. This is just a usual reversal of the trend, maybe we will see a failed trend again. I hope for a more volume of trades with bitcoin so the real pump will be notice. |

There is too much sideways trading but this is a good thing because there are a number of ETF's being considered by the SEC and they like to see a stable market rather than one that jumps all over the place
ETF are happening around the world, but still US-SEC doesn’t make any approval so we are still waiting for this. Sideways trend is good for me since we are slowly building some improvements to gain a huge pump in the future so its good to invest on this level. |

Never hold so much money on any exchanges. It is not safe to hold Bitcoin on exchanges not even on to ones. I wonder How could someone make a bad move without any proper research. Currently 10 BTC worth around 30 lakhs Indian rupees and its not a small amount of money. I guess you have learnt your lesson from this. Don't take investment ideas from anyone without a proper research.
My bitcoin is not only lost but somewhere I don't know I think someone is stealing Always keep your bitcoin safe, if you think someone is stealing your coin then better to transfer it into a more secured wallet. If you lost your bitcoin then there is no way to get it back. Greedy people are always here to get money without any hesitation, we must be more wiser. |

It is greed you should be scared of. Addiction is triggered by the greed. Without greed addiction is harmless. I mean you can get addicted to read books and that's a good thing. You can get addicted to math and that's a good thing too. Addiction is a weapon. Making it a good weapon or bad one depends on you.
When it comes to gambling addiction then greed is one of the reason to be in that situation but greed is also form of pleasure which manipulates the minds so being in control is the way to quit gambling. I agree in that reason, why some people are addicted in gambling because of greediness they want all the time to win and hoping. So they dont know how to control themselves. The thing should learn not to become addicted is control. That’s the issue we can’t control ourselves and we always play with greediness and later on we realize thay we are already addict in gambling this is bad of course. We must understand that addiction should be prevented and should not be tolerated by anyone. |

NOTE: This thread is not for those small recoverable amounts like 0.01 or 0.1 BTC types, but those big 1, 2, 5, 10 and even 100 BTC losses and some miraculous stories where any of you managed to win them back.
Well, since its too big I think i will not chase not kind of losses anymore. I was able to recover my losses before but its a small money and its not possible all the time. Most of the time we chase our losses and yet we lose another money so its really hard to win it back. |

Hopefully, because bitcoin is down for so long but this is not guaranteed since many speculations that stating bitcoin will have its another dump before it finally go up. The market should be more active this time, we need to see bitcoin on top again but we have to wait for that.

while people are waiting on bitcoin to make profit, other are making huge money from some altcoins. currently most altcoins are pumped over 100% in a day. i believe this could be as of trading bots. profit is profit. no matter how the trader makes it.
There are coins who are on that position so i think trader should look for this kind of coin. Bitcoin is not moving high right now, so its good to look for an alternative especially if you are a trader. Always go for the trade that you can generate income as much as possible. |

There is not websites that can give you 100% correct tips, and winning bets, will be better if you can do your own research before betting and get as much info you can on the game you want to bet, and bet only amount that afford to lose and never force to try recover on next game you see.
There might be a website like this but for sure its not legit, and they just want to scam you. No one is accurate on betting but this is more easy to earn compare to the games on casinos you just need to make research. Yes, gamble only spare money and don’t ever go beyond your limits. |

A LOT OF ICOs are garbage, that's right, but definitely not ALL.
As others have already said, in the cmc Top 100 you will also find many projects that started with an ICO.
ICOs are still a common way to raise funds. Don't think that's gonna change in the near future.
There are some ICO right now that are talking about the bright future with their project and yet they are still not listed on any exchange, and no value at all so this is the reason why investors losses their trust. Not all are trash but for sure some of them experience a hard time to collect money, so they failed and become a scam project later on. Some good project succeeds, i hope they stay long in this market. |

There is no predefinite way of gambling way or anything related to that which can be a sure way to make money in the long term.
The people who tell to themselves that they gamble for a living are only some delusional lunatics.
They believe into something that their strategies are working well to them not realizing the long term effect of that one. OP you are 100% right, great example of video game gambling could be warface too, you need to deposit money and buy some things if you want to own better equipment than others and reach higher levels quickly. Another example can be online web based game imperia online too, you need diamonds to develop your empire quickly and effectively.
But the reason why this isn't banned and there is zero talk on addiction is that usually people who play such games aren't so addicted to deposit a lot of money here. In casino usually you deposit more in order to get back previous loss but here situation is different.
A lot of video games ask for some money like this, but I think it is still your choice whether to upgrade your character or not, but I think this is not a real gambling because in most of the video games you will receive nothing but only an enjoyment. Gambling is something that you do because of money, and video games is different. |

If bitcoin falls to around $1000 that means there is not much money in circulation. ICOs will definitely struggle to raise funds. But I don't think bitcoin will go that low, because there is higher probability that bull run will occur this year because of the bitcoin halving coming up next year along with ETF and bakkt that will likely happen this year.
It will be hard for ICO to raise funds since the most trusted coin which is bitcoin dumped so much. I think if bitcoin hita $1k again, the market is on the recession but of course I’m still positive that bitcoin can survive on that one. |
