1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will regulation kill cryptos? on: April 17, 2018, 04:36:11 AM
I think the crypto regulation has a positive impact, but at the very beginning the market price will be drastically collapsed, because people are still in a state of fear and disbelief, then after a good run, then people realize that crypto is regulated and trusted daring to buy

Regulations will not ruin cryptocurrency in the long run, people will react in short term for sure but again we must always look in long term. I just hope that regulations will be good for both parties so everyone can still enjoy the benefits of a decentralized market.
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over 90% of ICOs are a scam on: April 16, 2018, 11:26:33 PM
That is not true for me, i have participated in more than nine icos and none of them has been a scam, maybe the devs stoped working hard at some point but it doesnt mean that it is a scam project.

Anyway, it is true that there are more scammy icos than before, i dont know why this is really happening at the moment.

You'd make a good choice on joining ICO's but we cannot blame people if they think 90% of ICO's are scam because it might be true or not. For me, you can easily saw what is the good ico by just studying the project and the team behind it. Make an effort and prevent yourself from being scammed.
1623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is bitcoin and how it works? on: April 16, 2018, 11:18:15 PM
bitcoin is a currency an online money that you cant hold like our money but take the risk when buying and using it some sites may scam you

Bitcoin is not about making money, its technology allows many users to be more convenient in their businesses. Blockchain technology is a chain where you can see every transactions you incurred in your first day. Money is just another good side of bitcoin, but basically its technology that moves the price higher.
1624  Other / Meta / Re: What is happening to forum after Introducing Merit System? on: April 16, 2018, 01:00:25 PM
Another merit topic again? Can moderator just not allow merit topic. I usually visit Meta to read some rules and other stuffs but lately it is all about merit. It was explained over and over dude so  get out if don't like the system. Plain and simple.

People will not stop talking about merit system until they got some and ranked up. We cannot blame them because its really hard to ge it, maybe he just want to have some merit. I hope that those who are selling their sMerit will be punished, just keep on working here and don't focus much on your rank because no matter what you are you can still make money.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Poloniex Dead on: April 16, 2018, 12:53:55 PM
Poloniex is not going to die and it has not die yet. Therefore, poloniex is still one of the best place for you to trade cryptocurrencies. There lending programs is another great place for one to actually make money and you can actually take advantage of this to actually make good money.

Poloniex is still good for me, I trade easily and never experienced any problem. A lot of good exchanges out there but you have to choose where you want to stay. I believe poloniex will continue to improve its system and make more investors in the future.
1626  Economy / Speculation / Re: What now? on: April 15, 2018, 11:35:38 PM
As we see the bitcoin value is gradually decreasing again on this moment  which is from 8k the price fluctuate back to $7900 , now we need strong explaination about this which is if it's a normal correction of price or it will decrease gradually  again back to the bottom.  ?

for now bitcoin prices have gone back on price recovery and have started up to more than $ 8100 if you can be more patient then you can benefit and can sell the bitcoin you have when the price in $ 20k again, but if you want to make a profit when this also then it's up to you.

Don't panic easily $7k level is still good for bitcoin compare to years ago. Now the price are starting to go back on up trend, we can now relax because the only way for bitcoin now is to go up higher. Always hold on bitcoin because this is a great coin with a great future.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 15, 2018, 10:28:11 PM
As others here have already mentioned, gambling should be considered a form of entertainment.
Some people enjoy movies, working out and traveling, while others would prefer to put some money down on their favorite sports team or have their luck at casino games.
It's all personal preference and it should not be forgotten that the house wins almost 99% of the time, so gamble cautiously.
Gambling is definitely a form of entertainment for many gamblers but it is a risky way of pleasing oneself. Why risking money and getting all the depression plus sadness? Even if someone is playing game for fun, he would get a little bit hurt on coming across the defeat. I don’t criticize gamblers. No one does. All those who call gambling as a bad choice want gamblers to stay safe.

If you just want to have some fun then gambling is not a good option, but some gamblers still want this thing simply because money. Admit it or not money drives gamblers to play more for them its a great pleasure but to those who don’t believe in gambling it is just a waste of time and money.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sale what is opinion ? on: April 15, 2018, 02:10:19 PM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them or hold.

Hold unless you really, really need the money. Stick it out for the long term.

Hold if its a good coin but if its not, study that coin again. Don’t follow the market from losing your own money, just stay focus, relax and don’t even panic. The market will always bounce back, just like what’s happening right now so you’d better analyze again all your coins.
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid to create my own ICO on: April 15, 2018, 02:02:37 PM
Do you think you can raise lots of money by just creating a ico? That is nothing but a business. You need a company, team and money as well. Even the expenses for creating an ico is very high.

ICO is not just about making money, its about innovation and doing good business with your great team then that is the time money will come to you. Don’t create an ICO if you are inexperienced because your reputation might be on risk if you push it through without proper knowledge.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign? on: April 14, 2018, 10:14:04 PM
Due to the increase in the number of participants in your company, the number of payments decreases, thereby losing interest in participation of the majority of bounty hunters. I think it is necessary to limit the number of participants.

Bounty campaigns has no limitations of participants because they want more people to advertise their product. Participants should be aware of this and if they think the reward is too low then don’t participate. Anyway in btc signature campaign there is a limitation and it makes your reward much higher.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Adaption vs technology on: April 14, 2018, 12:09:58 PM
There are newer cryptocurrencies than BTC with better technology. However we often insist that BTC is "king" because of its "first mover advantage" and its greater adaption. But then USD has far far greater adaption than BTC.

Shouldn't we value more technology than adaption? Isn't it natural that in the end other cryptocurrencies with better technology will prevail?

If its really a good technology then people will like it for sure no matter what, look at how eth works now but then again since bitcoin started this thing many people would still believe on bitcoin. Time will come and good coins will either replace bitcoin or be next to it but for sure it will not happen within 10years from now.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: April 14, 2018, 11:54:13 AM
I am so guilty with this, everytime I lose in the game I would say that I would never come back and quit gambling for good but sadly I can't keep my words . And now straight in a week that I am not lucky maybe I will lay low again for a while and look for another things or option to make myself busy.
Whether or not it's only been a few days or a few months, if you have tried gambling and experienced winning, then it's definitely going to be a thing on your mind that you are going to reminded of that win. It's easy to win with that but really risky,  it's your choice to deposit or gamble.

Focus on the things that is more important to you, if are already addict in gambling seek for someone to help you quit in gambling. Its hard in the first attempt but you can survive on that for sure. Gambling will make you broke in the end of the day so better to quit early before its too late.
1633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 8k$!! Is this recovery or a trap? on: April 13, 2018, 10:30:39 PM
First of all, we must keep in mind that the year 2017 was a very exceptional year compared to the performance that the price of bitcoin had in most of the previous years since its inception.

Therefore, we should not assume that the general rule is that after a period of great correction the price should again be triggered to historical levels each week, multiplying its value x10 by the end of the year.

I have no doubt that we are in a market that tends increasingly to consolidation, so it is possible that throughout the year we see consistent drops and increases as any ordinary market presents normally.

People must look in this market long term because bitcoin can’t go back to $20k level easily but it will happen this year. Btc survive the big dump and I think it will start now to go up again but yeah, expect more dump this year.
1634  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why did RBI ban cryptocurrency? on: April 13, 2018, 09:39:11 PM
As far as I know, the RBI hasn't banned crypto-currency as of yet. But they have been making crypto-currency trading more and more difficult. The latest news is that they have banned banks from dealing in crypto.

That’s the correct news, sad to hear this thing because India is a great market for cryptocurrency well this thing must go on and green days will come again. I hope this is not the final decision because many people will leave India so they can convert bitcoin in fiat money easily.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoins? on: April 13, 2018, 08:40:42 PM
Aside from bitcoim and eth, utrust is my best token and I know it will rise this month. There is no best alcoin because any coins can make profit for you in the righ time. Do invest on the project you believe can make profit for you.
1636  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Low activity long term BTC investing? on: April 13, 2018, 03:15:17 PM
Your time is important here in so many ways so if you don’t have much time in cryptoworld better to just hold on your bitcoin and be back before the end of 2018 for sure the value of your coin will be much highe compare last year.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: Stanford University Business Full-Time Cryptocurrency Course on: April 12, 2018, 08:46:26 PM
I wonder what will happen to those courses once the cryptocurrency hype dies down. I can only imagine people with degrees in "cryptocurrency" would be hard-pressed for anything other than finance-related jobs. I wonder if that news article is even real in the first place. Too much fake news has been going around online..

I can’t imagine cryptocurrency will die, and if you look at this scenerario why it is being offered in a University is really interesting. I know this is just a preparation for a brighter future of cryptocurrency and if this is true for sure many people enrol on that course because they see a big potential on this kind of market.
1638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seeing Green on: April 12, 2018, 01:32:16 PM
Guys i think our wish is now officially granted seeing all green like this makes me so happy, Glad that i invest some of my savings into Bitcoin, i'm excited to see the price Up to 10k+ by the end of the month.

I don't know what do you mean by "officially granted" as Bitcoin price is never granted by any countries or companies.

Maybe because the price of bitcoin spike again, and we hodlers hoping for this moment. But we must not celebrate easily since those who trade in short term might take profit again this time. I’m still positive that bitcoin will continue to pump now, waiting for some huge signal.
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you choose ICO to invest? on: April 12, 2018, 12:17:15 PM
What criterias do you take into account when choosing?

Everything must be consider before you invest because its really risky if you don’t make any effort on that. Personally, I just keep on reading until I fully understand the project and that is the time for me to participate on the specific ICO.
1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like dump is coming soon.. on: April 12, 2018, 11:59:29 AM
Price actually broke the other trend line too. The high is 8000 and the trend line at 7900.

Saw this thing and I’m so happy to see bitcoin on this level again but I’m wondering why the price spike high in just an hour. Hoping that it will continue so bitcoin can hit $9k level again, gonna crossed my finger the whole night while watching the price movement. 😂
