701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin crash occasionally? on: January 22, 2018, 12:49:54 AM
In my experience, Bitcoin price crashes sometimes due to negative news or a technological problem that bitcoin encountered such as high transaction fees or slow transaction time. The latest crash is due to China's ban on mining and Korea's ban on bitcoin. But after all these negative news btc price only dropped down to 30%. I think it will go up though.

A lot of people buying bitcoin dont know it well and dont know the technology. A lot of them only buy bitcoin for gain that is why we can see a crash occasionally when negative news comes.
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped, should you buy? on: January 21, 2018, 11:09:33 PM
I think you should buy. Whenever a coin or a stock price dips it is generally sound and logical to buy. of course, you dont yet if it is the ultimate bottom or if it will dip some more but from a high price down to a low price it is very sound to buy.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 21, 2018, 01:08:34 PM
People are always saying this after a huge correction. BItcoin is dead. The downfall of bitcoin. But if you take a look at the trend. It is normal for bitcoin to have a downtrending price. And after the news of the ban on China and Korea it is natural that bitcoin price will go down. If you study the previous trend bitcoin will moon after this huge correction.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government and bitcoins banning on: January 18, 2018, 11:20:38 AM
I dont really know why governments are banning bitcoin. What are they afraid from? It's like banning the internet if we are on the 94-96 era. Other countries had banned internet before too but now they are all embracing it as a technology that simplifies their way of life. Imagine making transactions without internet. THey just dont realize its potential right now.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin uptrend now? on: January 18, 2018, 11:02:12 AM
I think you should invest some of your money but not all of it. Bitcoin is uptrend now and the down trend seem to stop. If you take a look at the trend last year and two years ago, Events or dips like this does not even matter compated to the current price. Last year from 5k bitcoin had dipped as low as 3k and people are already saying bitcoin is dead. Now, it has reached 20k ATH and 5k or 3k is very small compared to 20k or 15k. My point is the dip now to 11k wont even matter to future value of bitcoin. If you are a trader this value is important but if you are an investor this value is not important.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should government afraid of bitcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 11:18:52 PM
In my opinion, governments are afraid of bitcoin and the other alt coins because they have no way of controlling it. It is decentralized which means the people actually have the power and no government have dominion over them. I think bitcoin and altcoins are hard to regulate, this is another factor why governments are afraid.

Another one factor that is hovering around my mind is that the legislators themselves are afraid of losing their money. Adapting these alt coins means that fiat will be of lesser value and when you have too many fiat tendency is you will be afraid that you money will lose value and they are uncertain when to convert those to digital currency.

I have read an article before that only 10% of all the money in the world are printed and the rest are stored in accounts.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: January 15, 2018, 03:29:38 PM
Right now, cash is definitely better than bitcoin because of the flexibility. You cant convert all your money to bitcoin because you will not have anything to use if you want to buy something. As good as the bitcoin technology, it is still dependent on the number of people that will accept it and the number of business that will offer transactions via bitcoin.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 07:01:43 AM
Yeah, ive read that news before too. Maybe the owner of the hotels that accept bitcoin is bitcoin enthusiast. Or they believe earning bitcoin is a profitable move. Of course there is the chance that they are only riding the hype of bitcoin today. When you think of it, it is scary to be left out of this trend today. You dont want to look back at 2017 and say " I was there why didnt I buy")
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 14, 2018, 11:13:45 PM
Yes. It is risky to turn all your money to bitcoin. Especially when you turn it when bitcoin price is high. Bitcoin price is volatile, if you cant handle a 30 to 40 percent loss on your money you might end up losing it. I will explain a bit more. For example, you buy 1 bitcoin at 17,500 usd right now then it became 13,500 usd if you are not a patient investor you will sell it because you will be scared that it will go down a bit more. So dont turn all you money to bitcoin. Be patient and wait for the  "dip" this is the time when bitcoin price is low.

711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Cashout Crypto on: January 14, 2018, 11:56:02 AM
Here in the Philippines. I only know one way to cash out bitcoin and cryptos. On a crypto exchange, Exchange you altcoin for bitcoin then send the bitcoins to coins.ph and from coins.ph you can cash out btc using its current rate and you can withdraw it on security bank.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with the price today? on: December 22, 2017, 03:57:00 AM
This is a reply for KleinKrypto.

I think a temporary harbor from the decline of bitcoin is usd. Sell your bitcoins then buy them back when you think it is at it's lowest.

713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: December 07, 2017, 11:11:52 PM
I am happy with bitcoin. I can say that I have no regrets because I bought as soon as I heard of it. But if I am to think of one reason or one thing that I regret is selling my bitcoins for small profits back on October. I am a noob trader back then ( I am still a noob trader but with more exerience now. ) I thought to myself when bitcoin is 8,000$ that this value wont even matter in the future. 1btc = 8000$ might sound like it is too expensive to buy but I thought  of the future that someday this will be even more expensive so I bought and bought and bought whenever I have extra money. And now bitcoin is 18,000$

715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would immortality be worth it? on: November 28, 2017, 01:55:48 AM
I think it would be worth it. But it depends on your goal. what is your goal on why do you want to be immortal. If your goal is to accumulate all the knowledge in the world I think it is fine . but if you goal is to just live I think you would be tired at some point and you will regret being an immortal.
716  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Humans achieve Immortality? on: November 05, 2017, 04:04:33 PM
I think humans will achieve immortality. But not by ourselves alone. I mean we will achieve it by the help of those who are more advance than us. I am talking about those extra terrestrials. IF they decide to help us or to teach us immortality we will achieve it. I think they have achieved it already. Immortality is a mere idea on science fiction movies but it is not impossible to reach it now.
717  Other / Off-topic / Re: I love to travel. What hotels do you like to stay in ? Share your preferences on: October 27, 2017, 05:29:08 AM
Dusit Thani seems like a nice hotel. I do not book often on Dusit Thani before because it looks like expensive. but then I tried Trivago and it shows that it actually not that expensive at all. It seems right try it.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: October 26, 2017, 11:13:07 AM
It is possible. I see it now it is slowly becoming the world's currency. You know things nowadays are becoming international. People are becoming international like your mother is asian and your father is european and you become asian only because you are born in asia but technically you are both european and asian. The world is getting smaller and I wouldnt be surprised if the world will have a world wide currency. As of now the Us Dollars is kind of the world's currency but it is not ideal because the Americans are using it to control other countries or to impose their will on the countries that are weak agaisnt the dollars.
719  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the WORST movie you have ever seen? on: October 25, 2017, 02:35:50 PM
The worst movie I have ever seen would be the low budget film. I dont even remember the title because it is so bad. The trailer is good but the plot is twisted. I remember! the dragon wars! I have seen the trailer on a tv on a mall then I got excited then when I watched it I was waiting for the good part and it is obvious that the producers cut the budget. This movie has so much potential but it is now wasted so as the idea.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 25, 2017, 02:33:30 PM
I believe bitcoin is changing the world. If bitcoin reaches its full potential people all over the world will no longer be tied down by banks and their money will not be controlled by business Titans and the power play of those Titans. The payment system will also change because people will no longer stand in line to pay their bills. standing in line in payment centers or banks is a pain. Paying bitcoin will eliminate this lines. You should only cash in once and use this money to pay the bills online. That is a nice change.
