701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Response from Linode regarding the theft case on: March 24, 2012, 08:10:27 AM
I really dont think sueing them or asking fbi (or whatever) for help will make any difference.
Bitcoins are not recognized as a currency at all, or as payment method in general. So HOW is the FBI to accept that $200 000 were stolen?
My personal view is that there are only a few scenarios that can come out of sueing linode:
(ordered by probability)

1) No case gets filed
Linode has in their agreement that they arent liable to such problems AND they gave a compensation
2) A case gets filed
Linode agrees on a somewhat higher compensation: Maybe 5yrs of free service? But nothing remotely close to $200000. Since you have lost money by lost reputation and so on. Your Income isnt just what it was before.
3) A case gets filed
Bitcoins get recognized as having value, maybe a currency. So There has to be a full compensation. At this moment Bitcoins would also get a new price peak since it would become "real"... most unlikely to happen though Sad
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please test (if you dare): next-test 20120321 on: March 21, 2012, 05:24:55 PM
Same shit, different name I'd say..

So far i had the impression that the world has taken the arabic (indian..) numbers as standard and those in a decimal system. Who actually uses Tonal or Radial numbers? And for what?

*edit* been reading a bit into the tonal system and i got to say: "WHY??" its just a hexadecimal system with funny letters.. except for some poeple trying to reinvent the clock and the calendar i dont see any real reason for its existance.. am i missing something?
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please test (if you dare): next-test 20120321 on: March 21, 2012, 03:04:51 PM

Quote from: Luke-Jr
....why Tonal?!
Isnt there something even more overfluent you might have used instead?
Tonal is the whole reason I'm involved with Bitcoin. "Overfluent" doesn't seem to be in any dictionary, so I don't know what it means.

Sorry, no native spaker here, thought that translation would exist. I will rephrase the question:
"Isnt there something even more useless you might have used instead?"

705  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: March 20, 2012, 05:21:33 PM
Those stakes are wrong.. why deleting all posts? Honestly.. that would make some threads here extremely one sided... i would though go for a perma ban and the "gentlemans" agreement that none of you comes back.. of course both will break it one way or another, but then we can finally see who lives up his own expectations.

You might change the stakes to:
Permaban
Gentlemans agreement
And giving some organisation several thousand BTC worth in USD...

So finally something good might come out of this...
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin GPU mining revelations and ArtForz running away on: March 19, 2012, 10:21:05 PM
We know that a gpu client exist and now everyone has it. This means that someone made it and chances are he (and maybe an inner circle) used it for himself before releasing it.
mtrlt made and released it, not artforz.

Now, the scrypt thing wasn't topsecret, everyone had access to it, but of course almost no one cared about making a GPU client
But someone did and someone kept telling us that "nono don't worry, there is no gpu client, it's impossible"
No, you're plainly wrong here. Artforz said that in his  opinion a gpu miner was not more profitable (reads as: equally more efficient than gpu to cpu on btc) and hard to implement. He made a gpu version back then (i think) which was working quite inefficient. Why should he follow a train of thought he already dismissed as not worth his time? Especially at a time when LTC wouldnt even give any real profits if you did make a few thousand coins more than everyone else?
How long does Ltc exist? Half a year, maybe longer? Ask yourself why art should have invested that amount of time in LTC for close to no profit..

Meanwhile someone was happily GPU mining.
Was someone? Do you have any proof?

Sure, it was our fault, after all there is a sticky thread in the newbie forum that says TRUST NO ONE. Next time we will better try to make our gpu client instead of relying on others
I totoally think that thats right. If there is something Artforz could be to blame it would be his lack of creativity when writing his initial tests on scrypt on gpu. If he had spend more time on that he might have spotted the obvious possibility of mining scrypt with GPU.. but as i said like a thousand times before: Noone tried to proof it at all that he was actually doing it. It would be easy using the blcok explorer spotting some wallet getting lots and lots of coins..

Again: I am surprised to see where people here draw the line between lie and not knowing stuff...
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin GPU mining revelations and ArtForz running away on: March 19, 2012, 06:39:11 PM
I am surprised where you draw the line between "not knowing" and a "lie".

Would you accuse Ptolemeus of lieing just because he established the geocentric model of the universe? Or Nils Bohr for his model of the Atom? Furthermore why would you accuse Artforz for giving something he seemingly hasnt had much trust in more time to spend on? If i was in the situation and would know to the best of my knowleadge that there is no need (for me!) to investigate something any deeper i would as well not keep working on it.
The question just is: is someone guilty of lieing if he doesnt give a topic a second or third or nth thought and other proof him wrong? If you really believe that you should never ever go into the real world. I lie is an active act and nothing as passive as not knowing. ..

So who here has undoubtful proof that Artforz, someone i got to know so far as a honest person, lied to the forum? All i can see so far is just some SC supporters and trolls to badmouth him, nothing more.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitscalper back to business on: March 16, 2012, 08:34:33 PM
Interestering to see that bitscalper may come back... i really dont trust that whole thing 100% but i must say i wouldnt believe any real scammer would dare to do that step.... so i am curious what will happen next (and if i can get back my 4 BTC ^^)

PS: Funny to see a SolidCoin supporter like psy attacking people to be scammers.. that just feels weird...

709  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner.eu - Game temporarily Down on: March 06, 2012, 08:06:05 PM

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 03, 2012, 02:36:31 PM
......various quotes from the past posts..........

Wow, acting mature now, dont you?
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 02, 2012, 02:31:36 PM
Awww me so sowwy mr disabled man living a lie... you buy you buy asian bride long timeeee.
That part stood out.

Someone should email all these sites with CH quotes so they know who they're endorsing.
http://wiki.solidcoin.info/wiki/Category:Sites_Accepting_SolidCoin
Given that it's only 10 right now, maybe someone already has.

I dont think its worth doing that... of the pages i just checked none accepted Solidcoin, one accepted Bitcoins and pyrochem, for example, is down...
The only pages that seem to use Solidcoin are, surprise surprise, affiliated pages like Solidcoin24...
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 02, 2012, 01:38:35 PM
Better is subjective when used generally like that. If I said SolidCoin had better confirm times, no double spend capacity, et bla bla bla yadda yadda yadda...

Someone noticed the change of temper? Finally taken a nap i suppose.. or the person switched yet again.. being nice i'd say you just had finally listened to my words and caught a bit of sleep and found at least some rest. Your post read as if it was written by someone who thought, then wrote. Thanks for that.

What is sad is my behaviour, which is rather cocky or comes across as arrogance is what some notice
Taken out of context, i know... but honestly.. thats what people think of ALL the time they read your stuff. The tone of your previous posts was a bit worse than most, but in general you read arrogant and cocky...

when people like BCX that threaten to torture women with pictures of their dead children goes unnoticed like it's fine. Some sick, bitter, twisted people here that I take pleasure in leveling.
Thats why i said this doxxing stuff is nothing i like. Everyone has had bad times in live - digging those up for entertainment is nothing i would love to happen to anyone here. Like i said everyone here should be self confident enough to just laugh about threats to be exposed with real name and pics etc.. but bringing up such weaknesses is not fair...

How about returning defating you (or you defeating us..) with real arguments? Might be fairer and more competitive...

AND MODS PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD! THIS CONVERSATION SERVES NO MORE PURPOSE!
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 02, 2012, 11:25:12 AM
Aww another butthurt baby, coming from the kid that "lost it" yesterday.
I hate repeating myself, but dont you feel somewhat hypocrite when telling it was a bad style belitteling others yet doing the same thing yourself (or whoever was using your account.. i will continue jsut with "you")  - all the time?

If you can't handle the fire get out of the kitchen.
What fire? What i see here is just a thread that went up in flames... And if you were able to understand my previous post you would have seen that i didnt try to raise the flames but to give you a hint: Take a nap and think before you keep posting. As said before.. you started the thread as to show that you are better than Artforz and Coblee and yes, you even got sort of support by the release of that scrypt GPU miner - if you hadnt used your "PR"-skills you might have even had a chance to make people accept your accusations.. but since you started a fight on multiple places at once the main idea of the thread is long discussed and doesnt matter anymore. If you hadnt lost track and went into this flame war frenzy, who knows.. you might haven scored a point... The way it went though you got to admit, that you dont look that good anymore. Entering a doxxing war is just the next stage of escalation. And as i said as well - i dont like this kind of thing just because i dont see a point in that. I hope noone here has such minority complexes that threatening him with his personal information might work..
And thats why i said: "Go to bed". This ws not meant to be yet another insult, it was meant to be an advice. Right now you act paniced, like sitting in the corner and just aiming at whatever weak point you think you see.. and thats not a good spot to be in.. dont you think?

I'm here because there are still some logical people who are ignorant of SolidCoin and may want a real education on the better alternative to Bitcoin.
Then you should just start acting like that: Logically and educating. Just shouting at everyone that Bitcoin is worse than Solidcoin wont work. You might have noticed that by now. Make a thread that really shows what Solidcoin might be about and proove it and maybe, just maybe, think about what you could change yourself to make Solidcoin more accepted here and you might find those "logical people ignorant of SolidCoin". From my biased POV i dont see people who will fall for that yet again, but well.. that would be some change..

The others like yourself that pop up to show their retarded opinions and "proven facts" need to be "Put down" with logic.
Look at the quote above - start a logical discussion and not a flamewar and you might find people listening to you. Run arround with a big sign "The end is near!" and shout at everyone they should put up tinfoil hats plus buying your coin to survive the upcoming death of mankind wont really make people listen. Put up some logical statements of why Tinfoil Hats will help and what will cause the world to end and discuss that might be the better solution (And as some of the climate debates show DOES work).

If that fails you gotta hurt the trolls in the place it matters their internet E-go. If you don't want me to do that to you or the other morons just stop talking through the finger mouth.
See what i said about threats and aims for the weakest spot you think to see? Though i called you a SoB yesterday i just wanted to give you an advice: Take a nap and think about where you want to go with this thread.. and you will most likely see that there is no point following the current course.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 02, 2012, 09:26:03 AM
We'll see who laughing over the next few days.

You should work on your English a bit more. Maybe if you weren't so desperate getting women from Thailand you could concentrate on your native tongue there. We speak English in America daniel son.

And if you cant argue with facts anymore you get either low (We've been here pages back) or critizise the language..

Really CH (whichever you are..) go to bed, take a nap and rethink your current position in this thread. You started it to make you look glamorous, beneficial and Artforz & Coblee look bad and conspiring against the normal people/miners.
Where are we now? You have made it clear that you are a damn asshole who started a doxxing contest with no real chance to win (as noone can win such a game... and honestly, i really dont like that kind of stuff) and now youre back in the deepest corner of your own living room hiding behind immature comments and threats...

Honestly mate, go to bed, sleep over it and THINK about it - maybe it IS time for you to resign from your so called position in Solidcoin and give up the believ that you alone are the newborn christ and beneficial to the human race. (In case CHs comment above is right i might add that youre absolutely not beneficial to the genepool. If that is right i am deeply sorry for that comment, but hey.. what comes arround goes arround.. wait.. doesnt make it sound better..)

Who? This she?

I can understand why LoupGayroux fell in love with you... NOT!

Yeah... that was the best you can muster?

Regrettably, or so your mother mentioned the other day, herpes is not caught "down there", it is a pervasive infection that will stay with you for your entire life and can only be addressed symptomatically, rather than being cured. It is always there, lying in wait for stress, physical exhaustion, or open sores from friction against mucous membranes.

Stress could be brought on from rising to defend your bitchmaster RS/CH/Douchebag too frequently, physical exhaustion from having to sound out the big words in others posts before crafting another of your juvenile retorts, and the friction rubs... well we can leave that to your imagination, but be sure to ask RS/CH/Douchebag for a reach around at the next ShortBusCoin programmers and other really intelligent peoples meeting.

Awesome.

Cant argue with numbers i havent seen myself.. but honestly Ahimoth, as one of the few not so hard headed followers of solidcoin i wonder how you can throw arround some numbers without some proof? Everyone here just hears about that super fast mtrlt miner which might of course exist, but noone has seen it. Also still i want, no i demand, to know what that miner should have to do with coblee or artforz?

So far it was just shown what was said months ago: Scrypt is not profitably minable with GPUs. Not to mention the accusation that those two were using GPU miners all along...
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: February 29, 2012, 05:11:39 PM
Don't know what you guys are arguing about, but the proof is here. Run it for yourselves, or check out the video someone posted to youtube.

http://solidcoin.info/reaper.html

http://youtu.be/C7jv4uJt-CY

Currently we are discussing numbers ,0)

And i still dont see how a non-profitable Miner should be evidence for artforz and cobblee gpu mingin scrypt coins for months..
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: February 29, 2012, 04:59:19 PM
I'm claiming it because it seems obvious to me. If I had proof I doubt you would believe me, just like with this miner.

So, we finally get to the root of the issue.
Coinhunter thinks there might be a GPU miner, but has no proof.

... well we do have the (worthless) gpu miner

...and the Cobbleforz miner must be like 50x faster to what Coinhunter (whichever) claims to be profitable... wonderful evidence..

*edit* isnt that more or less what Artforz said? GPU mining IS possible (how could it not be) but absolutely not profitable?
