701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: March 31, 2018, 12:46:17 PM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat (the airdrop is closed by now)

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

What is more, you can get tokens for testing a project's beta. For example, KickCity. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

Airdrops are good as we can get free tokens by doing simple task though we need to become careful what airdrops are we going enter as 99% of airdrops as of now are waste of time.

In my case, when I am newbie. I really love joining almost all the airdrops that are available just to earn few bucks but now, I refrain in doing it already.

Are you serious you’re trying to pull this off with that team?
What are your developers, can you tell me if you have more than one tech and one blockchain guy?!?!?!
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should you consider before investing in ICOs? on: March 25, 2018, 11:54:29 PM
Investing into ICO is quite difficult decision to make and in our opinion these are top 5 values you should consider before investing: Project idea, Technology, Team, Community, Investment potential.
What will you add to this list?

There are many things that we consider before investing any ICOs but frankly speaking even you will consider all of them you can't still make sure that certain ICO is safe.
Put in your mind that every investment has a risk.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: March 25, 2018, 11:53:04 PM
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
In crypto currency, my biggest regret is that I wasn't able to buy a bitcoin the time that its price is 300$ only.
I've been thinking, if I have buy even 1 btc at that time. I should have a big profit today.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My MEW Got Hacked on: March 25, 2018, 11:50:57 PM
Hi,

Today I checked my wallet and I noticed someone transferred 84(50$) CS tokens from account to 0xd8490b0a7db82be84d99ff6e047ed07769b7a6eb address. I know it is impossible to get those tokens and it is not a lot but I want to know how my account got hacked. Is there any way we could track how the person got my wallet key? Any help would be appreciated.

here is the transaction https://ethplorer.io/tx/0x3fbc60b142e314da6512881cd5141c8768e6ece19fd1756c47deb37827a7a7ec#pageSize=100

Thanks!

MEW is a wallet that once your eth/tokens were transferred, you can only trace the transaction hash. When it was transferred and to what address, though you can report it to MEW by adding its address to watch list but you cannot track how the person got your key, either brute force, phising and etc.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you Invest in Great ICOs but Anonymous Team? on: March 25, 2018, 11:48:34 PM
Obviously, the term “Great ICO” is subjective, but let’s say that ICO has an excellent concept and product. They even have steady and growing stream of profit and revenue (and can be verified.) They also have big names and notable investors and experts supporting the project. However, the catch is that they are anonymous like the founder of Bitcoin. None in the public would be able to meet or see any of the team members. Would you still invest in this kind of ICO?

In my case why not, but in the first place I will not put an amount of investment that I cannot afford to lose. Meaning I will only invest what I can afford to lose, this is how I invest to all currencies.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got $1000 to spend, ETH or other alt coin/s? on: March 25, 2018, 11:46:47 PM
Hi All,

I have 1000 to spend and not sure what to buy?!!!

I was thinking of buying two ETHs but decided to post here and ask your views if there were better coins to spend that money on or 2x ETH is a good idea?

Maybe get Coins that are low priced, low cap and have huge potential in future.

ETH or cheaper coins for better returns in future?

Your responses will be appreciated.

Thanks

Just divide your investment in 2 to 4 so you will not end up losing big amount of money in a single run. Putting your investment in one basket is not a good idea for me, so goodluck to your decision and may you end up getting some returns in your investment.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me the best ICO to invest. on: March 25, 2018, 11:43:45 PM
Looking to invest 1 btc in some good running ICO which is legitimate and has good potential.
Do not suggest any ico just because you are a part of their signature campaign.Give a good reason please that why you think it is a good investment opportunity.
If you have that good amount of money to invest in, you need to dig your own research so you will not regret whatever decision you will made.
Part of investing is digging the background of the project, team, whitepaper, roadmap, reviews/feedback and etc.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: March 25, 2018, 11:41:55 PM

710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments ban all privacy cryptocurrencies ? on: March 25, 2018, 11:40:38 PM
I'm considering to buy and hold some privacy coins for long term. I read some articles and they said governments are taking harsh stances on privacy coins. Do you think they will ban all privacy cryptocurrencies by prohibiting exchanges to list those coins?
Many countries are doing it already but there are few also who have legalize it. Goodluck to your journey and may you become successful.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CPROP - Blockchain powered real estate on: March 25, 2018, 03:20:34 AM
Am I understanding this right, CPROP would be Plug & Play with existing real-estate portals? It would just get buyers and sellers in a guided process and give provide rated agents. This actually isn’t a bad idea, you guys have an implementation way open.
Think i’ll participate, let me jump on the referral bounty first though. Is that open?
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: March 18, 2018, 03:55:56 AM
i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

update: stoppp ittt. i didn't buy Sad
If I were you, this is the best time to buy ethereum as you can see its value goes down. I've been holding eth for a very long time due to my work therefore I am a witness of its rises and its falls.
Eth has a bright future, if you really trust it.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Safe is MetaMask? on: March 18, 2018, 03:53:59 AM
I have become increasingly concerned with security considering all of the attempted hacks, scams etc..

Knowing this I have moved much of my funds out of exchanges, but now if I hold these funds in MetaMask, can someone initiate a payment without my consent?

I received a full-screen warning from MetaMask with a warning for Ethereum Phishing.

Picture below:

Keen to hear your thoughts
I've been using metamask for almost 3 years already and so far so good. Phishing is everywhere therefore if you fall victim to it then metamask is not to blame instead you were to blame.
We are responsible in avoiding this kind of mistake.
714  Other / Archival / Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted? on: March 18, 2018, 03:48:53 AM
I have checked the latest active bounties on bountylord.com and found many of them but only few are rated as 3 or 4 so any of you here working for any of those bounties listed there and found it trusted source of earning stakes/tokens/coins... I want to do the twitter campaign...
If you love bounties, its better also that you will do your own background check to all campaigns that you join.
Though using third party is very useful to make our work a little bit faster but in my part, I really love checking the background in every project that I join.

716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: March 17, 2018, 12:58:42 AM
Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
In my country, bitcoin is not legal yet but luckily that there are investors who dive into crypto world and create and exchange which really help us to freely cash out our earnings in crypto currencies.
I am not sure whether my country will legalize bitcoin in the future but I am hoping and positively thinking that it will happen in the near future.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum below $600 on: March 17, 2018, 12:36:07 AM
What is happening now? Ethereum is now struggling to meet the expectations on its eco-members. Anyway, within each worst situation, there is an advantage. This is the right time to buy more ethereum and make some good profit during upswing.

Almost all are down but as you say its time to buy and profit in the long run.
But this kind of situation is kinda difficult to all holders especially to me that I am also a holder of few currencies and I am not that type to sell what I have in my pocket therefore whether the market falls or rises there is no reason that I will panic as I know already how the market works.
Patience is the best thing that we should build in cryto currencies world.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] PayVX (PVX) - Leading Escrow Crypto Currency on: March 17, 2018, 12:22:22 AM
Escrow is very useful to make sure that every transaction goes well but I doubt if there are enough people that needs this kind of services. I would love to see the future improvement of this project.
