701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 18, 2022, 10:31:32 PM

If you are simply a holder then these moving prices wont really be a bothersome thing for you but for those who are trading on active or daytrade manner then for sure these movements could really give out that kind of
impulsive feeling with these short recoveries but eventually the price do make out some decrease afterwards which is really a common one if you do ask me. Market could indeed having two possible scenario whether
we are dumping or having some good increase or would really be dumping like hell thats why you should really be making yourself prepared on different conditions and situations within this market so that
you could able to make yourself prepared at least with various conditions since its totally unpredictable then you could really anticipate on what would happen.
I think - the market is so unpredictable that we don't even know what is going to happen next - neither no one can even guess what will be the real situation of market - so better do your calculation before you make a decision
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 17, 2022, 08:52:20 AM

Yes I agree, without the force within that person he will not change his bad habits

It is not always that the decision of a person that will change him. Although it goes along way like many people believe but at the same time there are other external forces that can force someone to change from one particular habit to the other one. For instance sickness and a particular type of it can control the way we act. If a gambler is on sick bed and not able to move around definitely his gambling activities will automatically reduce.
The only thing that will make someone to change from it's decision. it's because of  lacks of funds but when someone is rich very well which nobody can bend it decision unless it undergoes numbers of advices from prominent people. Because a situation that changes the decisions of someone emotions and conditions is very difficult and especially for those people who have what it takes to control and stamped for their words. But from this your analysis, i have not see were it relate or collabrate with gambling issues.
Why do we always see in movies that when someone is hurt in love and in professional life they change their location.
In our religion people migrate too - if they are finding the place not treating them well. So migration in our culture is very important if you need to have a better future. Change is constant.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 17, 2022, 08:48:39 AM
France and Brazil are the absolute favorites among the bookmakers. In any case, France has achieved something in recent years by becoming world champions. But Brazil? They haven't done anything for a long time. At least not at the World Cup. The last overall victory dates back to 2002! 20 years ago already. The final must have been around this time today. It is clear that Brazil still has great players. But you often see that they do not function fully as a team and you see that more and more in other countries. Brazil is so strong individually that you don't always have to be good as a team. Players like Neymar can decide matches on their own.
Now, we are just three months away from this prestigious event which is going to play at Qatar and teams are doing their best for having good results with mostly right now peoples are feeling three or four teams are hot favorite for this event which is not new because it's happening in every event, but we have to check all things about these teams with weak points and strength is specially important after having some details about these few teams look like Brazil, Argentina, France and England can do much better than we are expecting from them and trophy is also going into these countries as others still need more time for better results for winning of this trophy.
three months to go and everyone is already very excited about the game.
I am still looking fwd to see how will Qatar manages with the foreign players and guest - for those whom Alcohol  is the daily drink and Qatar is an Islamic state.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 08:46:06 AM
I like the compilations of the history of gambling and how the article pointed down to the ancient days and how gambling was perceived at that time. But then is Egypt really the origin of gambling?
Egypt is not the only origin of gambling. Because the ancient people were able to leave various traces related to gambling, different races have been around since the old stone age.  Even Mesopotamia which is now part of Iraq and Kuwait and other neighboring countries. Spain and China have their types of gambling. And there are many others, also based on the cultures and traditions that have taken place as the evolution of each object and event takes place.
I have read that the earliest time when gambling started goes back to the Ancient China. It is mentioned in Books of song.
They have referred it to the wood drawing and that the tiles along refers to the dics. You can check that online too.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 17, 2022, 08:41:42 AM
Good to see two legends Baber Azam and Virat Kohli sharing some caring tweets for each other.

Both need to remember :- Every rise has a fall

When a good cricketer cannot find his form despite repeated attempts, his state of mind can naturally break down ‍and in order to move around during this time, he must be supported. He should be encouraged. Babar Azam is doing that. What a cricketer should do. I think they both have  good relationship which is really appreciable.
I have seen that post too - Babar Azam is loved and liked by everyone in Pakistan too.
And they have strong bond with Indian players too. Kholi is not in form these days. Either he should try coming back to his career or sky's limit he is talened and he can find his spot somewhere else.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 16, 2022, 07:36:37 PM

That is the risk for sure if indeed there will be a time that information will leak but they are willing to take the risk because of money, sadly, there are really people who would want to gamble with that especially if they know that if their career will not bloom that much. I don't think we are kind of new in that situation.
The staked money is disclosed for public information for sure but we are not blind and deaf to know what is the real deal.
We are now living in the society when it is hard to believe that all the fights/ events are fixed.
Even if wish to believe that this a fair game. We won't be able to because there is always something going on behind the closed doors.

Not sure from where you got this information. There was some turmoil in Zimbabwe, after the players accused the board of corruption. But no such allegation was ever levelled against Kenya. Actually the ICC reduced the funding for Kenya, but kept that of Zimbabwe at the same level. I don't see the point in funding corrupt boards such as Zimbabwe cricket. If that money was divided among the top 10 teams in Africa, then we will be having at least 4-5 quality teams within a decade or so.
I used to follow global political during 90s and 2k till the news channels became a circus, so i am sure you will get the information regarding Kenyan politics around that period online. There was match fixing allegations against their key players during 2004 and there was a dispute between the players and the Kenyan Cricket board and the government even dissolved the board during that time if you are not aware of that. Corruption was the main reason and to expect ICC to keep on funding them is ridiculous.

As far as I remember, ICC really did not want to fund Kenya at all. This is because they did not start league cricket and that’s when it all started sliding downhill for Kenya. A lot of corruption was the main cause of Kenya not being able to compete at that top level of cricket.

And the same is true for the Zimbabwe cricket board but the thing is ICC is still funding them. But if they don’t show significant improvements, I don’t think ICC is planning to fund them for long.

At this point, I also believe that they do not deserve funding because they show no signs of improvement. It would be better to split the funds among the top 10 African teams.
Well - splitting the fund would not be of any use. It is better if Kenya would show some progress.
However incase the team is not performing well - this would not mean that they should not be supported at all. Maybe in coming days - Kenya team perform better.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Competitive gambler on: July 16, 2022, 07:25:53 PM
I have met people like that during my life and they are no fun to be around, everyone is doing an activity to get some fun out of it and most of the time those people ruin the fun for everyone by trying to twist the rules or by arguing endlessly about something useless, and this is an incredibly dangerous attitude to have towards gambling because when they suffer a big loss they cannot let it go and they keep gambling thinking on recovering the money they have lost already, but the only thing they do is to lose more and more money in the process.
Many people are crazy for money - some just go wild - they don't see anything - and they would want money at any cost.
This crazy for money is strange. I would like to earn money but I would not want to go crazy for it. That is one thing I want to keep that in consideration
709  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 16, 2022, 07:21:59 PM
snip

If we go through the history then we can find that, in Hinduism, gambling started much before the Mahabharat which started around 3139 BC.
In fact, gambling had a major role in the cause of the great war. So we can say that gambling has it's roots at ancestral level.
It's mind boggling to see how much gambling has evolved.
And there were some cruel incident attached to the gambling as well. Like barter deal - giving goats and other animals or even the daughters/ women.
The gambling was and is the game which excites the people a lot. There were many ways how it evolved. But it did.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 15, 2022, 11:17:36 PM
This is something that is indeed quite interesting but in a case like this there must have been several versions of gambling especially in ancient times and I once read a presentation entitled "Cultural History of Chinese Gambling" which said that gambling in China is indeed old. more than 4,000 years and the first game is liubo where this if I look at the pictures in some of the quests this game is almost similar to chess with 2 players fighting strategy.

As for ancient Egypt, as far as I know, there was once an artifact in the form of a dice made of elephant tusk and there was a game similar to chess called senet CMIIW.
the image you brought forth - is an ancient image, great info shared though!
But the history of gambling is more ancient than that. It goes back to the creation of the humans. There were different ways people gambled. TOday's is most modern form of gambling.
In this case, I'm just adding to what the OP said, as for the problem with the picture, it's just a picture of the gambling civilization in China, because from some research I've read about the gambling civilization in China, it's proven by artifacts found there.
Regardless of anything, it is quite clear that in fact we live also in the category of gambling, as for ancient and modern problems, I think when I say that when the stone age is still included in history.
Even the history of gambling is going back to ancient time. The gambling kept changing its form and color. And now people have adopted the most modern and convenient way of gambling. Don't know how it would take its form in coming days.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: July 15, 2022, 11:13:32 PM

It turns out that you have an experience like that that makes you addicted. But thankfully, you can decide to stop this type of gambling because slot games can really make us addicted and forget to stop.
But it looks like you should try to reduce the amount of money you use each week and see the results later because, in my opinion, $100 is still big enough to be used, even if it's only for a week.
But try to imagine if in a month, you set up a fund of $ 400, it will feel very big.
So try to challenge yourself to use less money that you can use for gambling because then, you can have money to use for other things.
Money game is a difficult task - sometime you are so sure about your investment and it turns out to be a total crap.
On the other hand some very unpopular investment turns out to be so profitable. .  . so one should always keep both the options in consideration while doing that..
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 15, 2022, 11:08:48 PM
One thing is sure with current system and approach by B-3 ICC can't be beneficial for this game, and we can't expect any positive change in coming years because this mindset is just having deep pockets and this is filled by IPL, so they are feeling happy and staying with same tactics which are not fruitful for game and fans.

Few decades back ICC were controlled by Australia and England, and they were doing things which give them favor, so we lost few good teams and now these two added a Gold Chick which is filling their money desire, and they have strong hold so most chances we will never been able to have very significant changes in game and system.

I mentioned this before. There is a major difference between ICC and FIFA. ICC is a business minded organization, headed by businessmen. All they care about is revenue generation and profits. They have no interest in spreading the game. On the other hand, FIFA is headed by ex-international players and they are not as greedy as the ICC. They spend most of their revenue in popularizing the game (despite the fact that football is already the most popular sport in the world). Anyway, that is the way things work in cricket. We can't do anything about it.
And that is one of the reasons cricket is limited to a few countries. They want money and they don't actually want to promote cricket.
However footfall is now a global event. People like watching matches - there is so much discussion about informative discussion about fall ball matches.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 11, 2022, 01:43:09 PM

Soccer is now big industry in world and clubs are giving enough funds to players, so they can't need to play for more than one club and cricket franchise is in early stages with few things still need to settle which need time hopefully in coming years we will be able to have enough money for players that they don't need to play for more clubs.

But, as I am checking we all already talking about ICC and their system it's never been flexible for players and countries, so they need to do some better work for this all otherwise it's going to be in the worst shape which is not good for game and players. There are many suggestions for this all but ICC is not listening because they have mindset which is having no progressive approach.
I am not sure - why ICC has always been so controversial. They have not been able to win the trust of the players and the fans.
The point you have mentioned that they do not listen because they don't have a progressive approach is also somewhat correct. Let's see maybe in coming days ICC comes up with some good decisions.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 11, 2022, 01:40:23 PM

Perhaps I am an idealist, but it seems to me that sports competitions between different countries are fair sports competitions.

Each country strives to look better compared to other countries.  And the easiest way to achieve this is to win in sports.  Victory in sports is part of the country's positive image.  In my opinion, contractual (fictitious) matches are more common when different clubs compete.  In this situation, corruption and the desire to make money often take place.

When different countries compete with each other, then fictitious (fixed) matches happen much less frequently.
That's is very correct " victory in sports is part of country's positive" image and that is how the sportsman or an athlete lift the image of their country.
I m not sure about the players fixing matches - but one or the other players may do that. Also - there is a big gambling bets and games behind the games. That is for sure.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: July 11, 2022, 01:37:17 PM

The categories of all types of gambling are discussed. However, based on the category, there are several types of gamblers in my society. Most of them are Casual Social Gamblers as well as some are Professional Gamblers, Serious Social Gamblers, Conservative Gamblers and Compulsive Gamblers.
I am not very sure about my type - When I have some extra money than I am crazy gamblor and when I am low in money that I am very conservative gamblor.
We see many professional gamblers leaving the casinos devastated and we see many beginners leaving the casinos happy and excited. In both the case - gambling is a game of luck and chance - nothing more - nothing less.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: July 11, 2022, 01:31:43 PM
Since the Candidates Tournament has already ended, but it is not yet known whether Magnus will take part in the title match, I propose a new vote with the same question )
So far, I have not seen betting options on this topic anywhere, but if someone sees it, please give a link here in the thread. I think that some bookmakers can take bets on this event.
This is a very slow thread -shows that a very few people now have interest in chess.
However I have heard that Jews are very particular about teaching their kids chess - because that makes their mind very active and strong and along side they are very good in calculations and mathematics.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: Uganda’s gold discovery: What it could mean for crypto !!! on: July 11, 2022, 01:29:07 PM
Even if all of this ends up being a lie I will not be surprised that eventually at some place a lot of gold is found, the extraction of gold on the surface has been going on for thousands of years, however almost all the gold which could be underwater is still there in territory that is untouched, so I will not be surprised if the amount of gold still to be mined was 4x to 5x larger than all the gold ever mined, it will not be easy to access that gold but at some point our technology will improve to the point that extracting it will be possible.
I would like to know how Ugenda will save their reserves from international conspiracy.
Have they had strong defence and honest politicians and bureaucrats who would save the nation from international conspiracy and invasion?
718  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 11, 2022, 01:26:22 PM
Wow, actually, this is one of the most exciting trends I've seen lately. Very cool. Thanks for the article, I definitely learned a lot of new things.
If you're curious about how gambling started, this one is for you since you can read here some of the good highlights of gambling activities before. Honestly, this is also my first time to know the background of gambling, since I usually gamble without knowing the history, I'm not good at history but this one is really interesting. Gambling changes a lot in so many ways, I wonder what would be the big game changer for the future.  Cheesy
Gaming started with the evolution of man and woman. These things existed and there was different ways to gamble.
But that is an ancient process. However it has now been modernized and people have adopted the new and modern form of gambling with open arms.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 11, 2022, 10:44:12 AM
Having people around that are not exposed to gambling will always be helpful for someone who is a gambling addict. However, that won't guarantee that he'll stop gambling anymore. Where there's a will, there's a way. So expect that he'll still be looking for some nearby casinos or just play online casinos without leaving the house. Also, in cases that an individual still develop his gambling habit even without influencers around, that only seldom to happen but still possible. Usually, gamblers develop their interest if they are also seeing gamblers in their own environment or society.
That is correct - people who are not exposed to gambling are a good choice for getting rid of gambling addiction. It is very true that this will be beneficial.
Many people when they are depressed thay go to hilly areas, put their phones down and enjoy nature. Breathe in the fresh air and feels good. That is what we have seen in movies and dramas.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 11, 2022, 10:37:45 AM

Netherlands might not win the title but they have improved for sure over the last 5-10 years. They werent seen on any big stage and now we can see them on World cup with a pretty solid team honestly. They score a lot of goals and their attack seems to be on of the best
Most of the people in the forum trust that Brazil will pick up the trophy. While many members are vouching on Argentina.
However once the preliminary matches will start - people will get a clear picture of what shape the teams are in and it will be easy to decide where to make the bets.
