Eth is far more stable then BTC still it moves in the same direction but ETH does not go that much down like BTC go down and Eth also recover soon but this happens and it happens because BTC has the pair with all the altcoins and when BTC get affected in price all the coins also get affected.
Yes, they are moving in the same directions - up. However, this movement is very slow. I wish the price of Ethereum would be increased at least twice. |

I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat. I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune. In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition. From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc. Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability. What do you think? Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?
Bitcoin is best for long term investment because Btc is less risky then other altcoins and the prices of Btc are also high, "Invest more earn more". Bitcoin is the best long term holds if the people hold it for long time and it is not a long term if people do not hold for long time and hold the coin for a little time. The short term will give you less profit while the long term will give you huge profit. If Bitcoin used as a long term then the future profit will be huge and investor will get huge returns of his investment. So it is better to hold Bitcoin than the other cryptocurrencies for investments. Here, I would certainly add Ethereum, NEO, and Waves to this list. These cryptocurrencies should be better held for a long time. Just be patient not to sell these cryptos at least for a year or two. |

10,000$ is a huge money indeed for me. If I have a money with that huge, I will invest 60% of it in the top 50 coins, 20% in the bottom 100 coins and 20% in trading. I allocated 60% in the top 50 coins because they are the most trusted coins and many believe that investing here will give them huge profit in the future. I choose 20% in bottom 100 because some of the coins in the bottom 100 are called "hidden gems". As a trader, I allocated 20% for trading. As usual, Do your own research in investing.
