701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's looking bad. It's looking real bad out there on: May 24, 2018, 01:33:17 PM
The funny part is when I do a google search to find out why the sky is falling I see results from months/years ago that could exactly describe what's happening right now. It's like being emotionally connected to the past
Read this article https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-24/bitcoin-manipulation-is-said-to-be-focus-of-u-s-criminal-probe?srnd=cryptocurriences
US against all of the collusion to manipulate the bitcoin price, i guess US will try to take an action to the manipulators. Remember this is a wild market. The whale should become the winner in every condition compared with little shrimps.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What defines a successful ICO? on: May 24, 2018, 01:19:17 PM
Successful ICO for me is a project that allows to join as much investors as possible like if was in Fusion. It's better when a project doesn't have any presale or private sale bonuses, or they are locked for several months. And also successful ICO should plan their listings on good exchanges, the best example of a good marketing is LibraCredit.
The successful ico will have determined by the return of the price after it is listed on the exchange site, The development progress, how useful its product to the community and many more. A proper development means more investor will come. If it's a good project and big exchange site will be automatically listed it.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whay market down day by day? on: May 24, 2018, 01:11:10 PM
why market is down day by day? there is any reason on this?
i believe there are some parties are manipulating the market right now. There is a latest update about that and US will try to consider the bitcoin price manipulator as a criminal action. And you can see that through this link

704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain 3.0 on: May 20, 2018, 08:40:50 AM
hello everyone
What is blockchain 3.0? What is the most obvious characteristic of it? What are the obvious differences between it and its technology?

There is no blockchain 3.0 even DAG system can't be considered as a part of the blockchain ecosystem. Blockchain 3,0 just a word to create a hype for the community. Basically, that word is misleading so many people.
There is no difference between every blockchain the only differences are on the specification of every blockchain.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens? on: May 19, 2018, 01:52:32 PM
At first I was a bit wary about the tokens but then when I found that they were built on the ethereum blockchain then all of my fear dissipated. Do I think that all of the tokens would survive for years to come? Of course not. What I do know is that there are a lot of ERC20 tokens out there that are good for it and are here to stay and as ethereum grows, they will grow too.
The growth of the ERC20 tokens will depend on the development of the platform itself. Ethereum has no role in this case. crypto is just about the competition to develop more and more innovative product. remember when ethereum was born and the majority of coin at that time were really worthless. HTML coin is including on the oldest coin and it's worthless.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum reached $800 mark on: May 19, 2018, 01:47:32 PM
Today I saw an article, early this morning:
-https://www.forbes.com/forbes/welcome/?toURL=https://www.forbes.com/sites/montymunford/2018/05/18/apples-steve-wozniak-dumps-facebook-and-thinks-ethereum-could-be-the-new-apple/&refURL=https://www.google.com/&referrer=https://www.google.com/
Apple's Steve Wozniak Dumps Facebook And Thinks Ethereum Could Be The New Apple!
Interesting headline don`t you think? As investor in Ethereum it draw my attention. He said
nice things, who likes Ethereum should read it. Ethereum price is $715, little drop but nothing that
worries me. I am long-term holder, little fluctuations are normal.
Not only steve wozniak but a lot of big names are speculating about the future of ethereum right now. Just like CEO of reddit speculating about ether should be worth a lot. More people are feeling positive about the second largest platform in the cryptocurrency and thanks for that interesting news to read. EEA has reached so many members and the new will be coming soon.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is under the spotlight of US regulators on: May 18, 2018, 01:07:47 PM
Ethereum is facing scrutiny from American regulators this month who say the coin should be classified as a security. How do you think this will impact Ethereum?

Sorry, man, this is not news. And all answers were. Nothing happens. Nothing changed. Nobody meet. It were a few rumors about any sitting with beer and chips and telling about all include ETH. Nothing more
What will happen to ETH if they start pushing this investigation further?
Nothing will happen, ethereum is a Swiss non-profit company and US can't do anything about that. This rumour was appearing before 10 may that said SEC will try to give an announcement about the classified of ethereum token. But nothing happened on 10 may and this was obviously FUD rumour to attack ethereum market.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell EOS I told you so! on: May 17, 2018, 07:11:03 AM
I told everyone to sell when eos was at 20
But they were aiming to sell their EOS at $100 lol
EOS is a pure pump and dumps coin. it looks like $20 should be the peak for EOS. The network doesn't even go live and what will be the next to be expected by the majority of EOS holders? it will be going up again and then it will fall again too.
PnD coin obviously.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capital invested in crypto, whats yours percentage ? on: May 17, 2018, 07:06:36 AM
Initially, I set up a mining farm. From earning on the farm, I bought other altcoins. I invested 2000 $. And after that I invest 1/10 of my money
Mining is a horrible way right now to earn ROI from your mining rig because it requires a lot of time for you to get back your ROI. There is a lot of mining hashrate battle in various cryptocurrency and it has been dominating by asic. That's why the majority of altcoins are avoiding asic through created asic resistant code right now. A little shrimp can't get anything from mining due to the asic miners.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Amazon going into crypto raise the value of ETH? on: May 17, 2018, 07:03:39 AM
"The founder of the Ethereum blockchain platform, which is what Kaleido and AWS will be using, said this is the biggest move yet by the tech giant to get into blockchain."

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/15/amazon-is-moving-into-blockchain-with-a-new-partnership.html

What do you guys think? This is massive news!
I think it's a good step if amazone enters the crypto and helps raise the eth price. because I believe the role of amazon is very good and also big name amazon will definitely continue to help crypto. this is my opinion what if opinions are there all?
Remember there is a clue because amazon has bought ethereum crypto related to main at the past. Amazon will provide fast adoption to a lot of crypto users and if ethereum will be officially worked for it and then a big major bullish for ethereum will come as soon as possible. But this news needs to be confirmed by ethereum itself.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is good for mining now ? on: May 13, 2018, 02:40:00 PM
Which coin is good for mining now ?
It depends on your GP but the most popular is still ETH. But if you are not comfortable with it always check the stats on https://whattomine.com/
Consider ethereum will move to the POS casper and it has stated in the whitepaper if the block reward will be reduced from 3 ethereum to the 0.6 ethereum and it will not be a good choice for long-term. Lisk looks another good option for OP. But it looks like OP needs a new coin to make it worth to be minted.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY SHOULD YOU BOYCOTT ICOS THAT DEMAND KYC? on: May 12, 2018, 01:17:53 PM
But crytpo is suppose to be anonymous though???
I'm not sure anonymous can be matched with assets. The majority of those investors are investing in the ico try to take all of the things at their own risk.

Remember there is some news are discussing the possibility of anonymous coin still exists in the centralized crypto exchange site. It looks possible the anonymous to be erased through regulation.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook planning to launch its own cryptocurrency!? on: May 12, 2018, 01:15:03 PM
Hello everyone!

This is the latest news update!

Facebook is reportedly planning to launch its own cryptocurrency, according to a report from Cheddar’s Alex Heath.
It’s not the first time the idea of a Facebook coin has been floated, but the plans take on some greater meaning in light of Facebook’s recently reshuffled executive structure and newly formed blockchain group.

Citing anonymous sources familiar with the matter, senior reporter Alex Heath said that the company whose $533 billion market cap is a $140 billion larger than the current cryptocurrency market cap — is holding serious, high-level discussions about directing the focus of its blockchain research team toward releasing its own cryptocurrency.

Cheddar’s report follows an announcement from Facebook’s head of Messenger David Marcus, who said on Tuesday that he plans to leave his current position in order to explore uses of the blockchain at Facebook. At the time, Marcus didn’t mention any possible applications for the blockchain.

Facebook’s work on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency will likely take years to materialize. People familiar with the matter said the social network doesn’t have plans to hold a so-called initial coin offering (ICO) by offering a limited number of virtual tokens for the public to buy at a set price.

Facebook will likely need to make acquisitions in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space to develop its own virtual currency, one of the people said. Blockchain technology could also be used to help Facebook verify the identity of accounts and encrypt data.

US media reports indicated that a disagreement with Facebook over the privacy of user data may have also been a factor in Koum’s decision to quit his position as a high-ranking executive and likely leave his seat on the board at the leading online social network.

What is your ideas and opinions about this current news? Is this planning affects crypto currency or crypto world?
Or this event can helps people ?

Thank you!
Facebook's scandal was changing anything in the Facebook structure. This is still in a consideration and remembers if that was still an experiment. It looks like the blockchain can help facebook but it needs a lot of time to do.
I see that in some paragraphs if that was included in the future development to avoid facebook's scandal to happen again.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent KIN coins to Parity Wallet, need help on: May 12, 2018, 01:07:37 PM
Hi there,

I had bought slightly over 2 million KIN coins at Yobit and decided it would be smart to keep them in a desktop wallet. I ended up downloading Parity, because it is supposed to hold ERC-20 coins like KIN. Instead of using MEW I sent them directly from my Yobit account to the ETH address provided by Parity. It has been 5 five hours since I have sent the coins and the Ethereum block explorer still says zero transactions. Could anyone advise me on what to do right now. I'm pretty new to Parity, is there anything to set up, before I can receive ALT coins? The status over at Yobit hasn't changed during the last 5 hours and tells me "In Process".

It may better for you to provide your txid, and i guess you should have gotten it. If your transaction doesn't appear that means if there is a problem in the ethereum network right now. Maybe it has been getting bloated and that makes your transaction can't be delivered as fast as possible because your transaction was in low priority.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: May 11, 2018, 12:32:10 PM
This is normal it always happen in any exchanges. sometimes its all green but now its all red. no need to panic its just a part of the exchanges. I dont think so that  Bitcoin will affect other coins if it price has got below $9000. No need to panic the next day it will all green again. This is the time we need to be patient and dont do panic selling because it will cause you a lot  of losses.
Another shitty comment about the recent condition of crypto. You should stop to spam a bullshit comment like this one. This is not a normal thing, one of biggest exchanges site is being audited by the police and regulators.
I can't even understand what are you talking about. It seems difficult to understand what's point from what has already written by you.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: May 11, 2018, 12:27:03 PM
why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?
Because crypto is a big game changer in the world. Compared with stock with so many verifications and manipulation and crypto gives a lot of advantage with its natural market. That's why people are being crazy with crypto and they are wanna earning more and faster money through this way. As you can see how the market was going crazy every time.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for recent dips? on: May 11, 2018, 12:23:07 PM
Everything seems to be falling. Did I miss some news? Or is it just the markets correcting themselves?
You did, and it may better for you to visit the cryptositenews directly.
This is not a correction but it looks like the largest exchange site in Korea is getting a problem with regulators and I hope that will be resolved asap.
This is the news that makes a big bearish trend to the crypto,
https://cointelegraph.com/news/s-koreas-largest-crypto-exchange-upbit-investigated-by-police-markets-react
Try to read it.
Don't take other dumb comments seriously.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 08, 2018, 11:44:38 PM
The big reason it will take off soon (maybe this year) is that it has the value on the usefulness of it as software, which will make it more mainstream, (if the ICO rush doesn't lead a rush of bad news).
It's blockchain and it's not same as software. You shall try to understand the definition of the blockchain, dude. The only big reason is a big update soon and remember some countries especially korea will try to re-consider about the legalization of the majority of icos in there. That means if icos will be legalized gives a huge impact to the ethereum asset adoption.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: May 08, 2018, 11:36:52 PM
Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
I will say that it is a good investment in this year because due to too much regulations people now are liking the privacy coins and they will definitely come to invest their money in monero so it is sure when the price of bitcoin start to increase then people will also invest their money in monero and the price of monero will increase too much higher.
As per recent news the bitcoin house country just like japan are in consideration to allow or disallow the anonymous currency to be traded in the japan exchange site becomes a big bet for all of the anonymous cryptocurrency.
If the anonymous coin is not getting listed on the exchange site, how they can invest their money in the privacy coin.  it looks not possible.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin VS bitcoincash on: May 08, 2018, 11:34:08 PM
What are the main differences between bitcoin and bitcoincash?

Bitcoin cash has a faster block compared with bitcoin but it has less adoption rather than real bitcoin. Read this news https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinmarketcap-quietly-removes-bch-promoting-bitcoincom-from-its-btc-page
The only main difference of bitcoin and bitcoin cash is only on the block time and adoption.
This time bitcoin adopt segwit protocol that makes the fees is the same as bitcoin cash.
