Excited to see there's movement, thrilling crypto times and Helium is along for the ride.

What happened to the stock exchange cryptopia.co.nz, why does not work Deposit/Withdraw for Byteball? Wallets go up and down on exchanges ALL the time for all sorts of technical (and depending on exchange possibly manipulative reasons) just a fact of life here.

HLM is transferable ?
I understand if not in exchange yet but, can you move HLM found ?
If yes i looking to buy 1002 HLM.
It isn't because there's no wallet yet, can't trade without a live chain either which also doesn't exist.

Or it might be $100, speculation is speculation, and I thought there was a specific forum for that to help keep the hype/shilling to a minimum in this one.

yup, i'll get right on that...

Or you could just use blockfolio like most people .

The IOTA tangle is a LOT like the byteball DAG. Presently neither are functioning as they will when fully implemented, unfortunately that also means both are reliant on additional centralization at present, however, the future state for both provide for decentralization very much UNLIKE Ripple et al, that have no plans for such.
At this point it's a question of trust in the devs.

Made a massive jump today, one of the biggest in the altcoin market. So ARK was a hodl after all, and probably still will be for the coming months.
I think my share is pretty close to that, seen decent overall gain through the year PLUS making a fair return from leasing to a forge node. It is. Community is solid and the devs are like busy bees!!! One of my favorite coins... 24.19% of my (small) portfolio is in ARK.

1. This is the MINING forum.
2. If it looks too good to be true, it's not real

Guys, what do you think about the ICO? how promissing the project is?
There is no ICO for Helium. An economic fork of Spreadcoin was done months ago. Only way to get Helium coins is to wait for an exchange to start trading. Most likely Cryptopia will be the first exchange. The poster doesn't care. Look at his post history, he is doing account farming so he has tens or hundreds of accounts with status "member" or better to raid airdrops. Best report those bullshit accounts. I would imagine that scouring these forums for the plethora of ANNS for free shitcoin tokens and subsequently managing to dump/convert to btc could possibly be quite lucrative for one, to say the least. The term "airdrop harvesting" comes to mind.... I had a few early wins with just that, and I've read unicorn stories about XEM and others that made people BIG money. Sadly, I have a day job and too little time to personally chase these things but now that ICO fever has died down and it seems AIRDROP is the new buzzword there's certainly some serious potential out there. It's sad that the bots and farmers are so heavy in the industry though, that combined with outright fraudulent projects makes it a total crap shoot. Still just sitting here waiting patiently to see a Helium wallet post

I have a 8 x [RX480 8G GPU] rig and mining works fine when I'm mining Monero, or Ethereum. But when I switch to ZenCash, the rig crashes in the first 3 minutes.
All the cards were modded with atiflash - copying the 1750 timing strap to the 2000 strap. Is this the cause for it to fail? Should I revert back the mod on the card bios?
Can you please help?
What miner are you using? The bios needs for z cash algo is different from eth or line to, might need to modify that again to make them stable.

Secure nodes are on test net, so it's likely they'll be pushed to live relatively soon (before end of year). This is probably part of a general alt recovery, but I'm glad Zen is finally getting some movement.

Has anyone here heard anything at all from Bittrex? I still haven't gotten a response and i'm wondering if anyone got on regarding the token swap? I know that there's got to be a ton of people who kept their tokens on bittrex waiting for this swap.
It was clear before the swap bittrex wasn't signed on to support the swap, and took a was the only exchange participating. I really doubt, especially given their current troubles, that trex is going to do anything for the spread held there.

there is a huge dump for SPR, as everyone expected, transferring value from one coin to another, leading old coin nearly dead...
Amusing part is there has been ZERO value transfer so far since HLM isn't tradeable or valued ATM. At least when the ZCL/ZEN debacle happened you could see your value shift and mostly remain. Now SPR is dumped and HLM is temporarily worthless so effectively most people are way in the red right now. I suspect HLM to come out between $1-3 so it'll balance but kinda funny to think about.

Here comes "sell the news" -
I expect anywhere from $2.5 to $7 in the next 2 days, for my mediocre 2 cents. Lol, hell of a spread there, better be 100:1 odds

why do I see the price of the morning star getting down and probably will cause the coin to be unsuccessful in the market because of poor project development
No it's not because of the poor project development. If you are on the community you will be aware that the dev is doing something important development for the project, And we are all excited about this. Morninstar is still in its earlier stage and it is normal that the coin's value is going down like any other altcoins during its earlier days because of the dumpers/cheaters from airdrops. Dev was very generous giving away huge amount of MRNG initially. Now that Morningstar no longer gives airdrop, and development of new software wallet (android wallet, coinimo, electrum) is in progress, the coin is the most promising of all the coins out there. The coin will be in demand and those who dumped will regret. And the good news is, no more dumpers they already have exhausted all their coins in the earlier weeks' airdrop. All that is left now are the real investors/holders. So the best thing to do right now is to grab the coins now while its cheap. Most promising of ALL coins out there is quite a statement. I like morningstar, from a philosophical standpoint if nothing else. Yet I still don't see any reason for such a bold proclamation. It's a fun micro-cap alt ATM but wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Looking for talk (any at all) about Equihash algo used for mining, which is used by the upcoming Bitcoin "Gold" fork. That should exist as a toppic somewhere inside the Altcoin mining section? If nobody cares a damn, maybe Bitcoin "Gold" is not even legit. Otherwise, it would be your third choice between ZEC & XMR.
I'm fairly certain it's another SHA-256 coin. Although that's based purely on vague recollection from reading.

Really good news... now patience is asked
And what next? why they are silent ? Why do you do snaptchota without having prepared HLM? where is wallet? where is the future? SPR -80% HLM No start Not very professional developers Not surprised...snapshot non sense was a nice excuse to lead to a what 60x pump on SPR. Snapshot completed...90%+ insta drop. Sure the guys behind this turd bought 1000 sats level and insta dumped once the snapshot was done. Explains the 90%+ drop...that amount of coins dumping is big and the amount of shaved profits selling down to 1000 sats is huge. At least this wont see the light of Bittrex...belongs on yobit. Looks like you want to buy HLM cheaply once it start trading in Cryptopia that's why you are complaining and talking it down. You look an intelligent person, I don't blame you, I want to buy cheap HLM as well... So good luck. Not taking down or complaining about it. Describing what I see, this reminds me of Zclassic and Zen snapshot. I honestly won't be touching HLM or SPR for that matter. Not interested in MN coins anymore. The ZCL/ZEN shot definitely had it's issues. Yet both coins are still in development, ZEN especially, and after the hype ZCL pump, post-snapshot dump, and ZEN fluctuating to find it's baseline, it's been a rather stable market for both. ZEN still has some serious potential, and ZCL won't vanish like some though, although I doubt it will ever develop much beyond an also ran ZEC code-fork (which is literally what it was meant to be). That is, unless the ZCL folks make inroads against ZEC. In this case SPR/HLM is a little different because the projects really aren't related much at all. Spread was just a low-value low-cap coin that was available at the time to use for a snapshot for HLM (whatever contributing factors the devs had for making money on the switch aside), but the direction HLM is going is radically different than SPR. Provided SPR has any real direction that is, my sense from holding and following it because of Helium was that it was a single dev project, and that dev was rather uninterested in really pushing the code development anyway.

Return all depends on what you paid for your Spread too, though. I bought very early on in the pre-notice, and even after the BIG price drop was still marginally ahead.
Granted, that was a gamble on a project that had almost no info at the time so could've easily gone either way, at this point the HLM I picked up is just a benefit of the hold.
I guess the moral of the story, is still, buy low, sell high(er).

I jumped through all their hoops and still never received my airdrop, rather displeased with this crew.
