7001  Economy / Goods / Re: UK bullion dealer now taking bitcoin on: July 17, 2013, 08:01:54 PM
O_O Bookmarked, definitely bookmarked.
7002  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If Bitcoin dies... what could I do with 50 GPUs? on: July 17, 2013, 01:35:10 PM
Depending on how powerful they are I bet you could set up a render farm with them, I think you'd need full computers to go with them for that though.
7003  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you connect to my website? on: July 17, 2013, 12:58:03 PM
I'm beginning to believe that computers and electronic devices hate me, I just got a missed call message from yesterday on my phone wtf? LOL
7004  Other / Meta / Re: People paid by banking elite to troll this Forum? on: July 17, 2013, 12:03:48 PM
Lets be honest, they aren't above- Well, I was going to say trolling but the thing is at least to be a troll you have to have some class, if you look at reviews of forex brokers you have constant accusations of price fixing etc. when things haven't gone their way, here in the UK there's this never ending debate on taxing big financial institutions etc. where the financials threaten to leave if they get taxed too much.
7005  Other / Off-topic / Re: How will humans drive themselves to extinction? on: July 17, 2013, 11:36:54 AM
I don't think we'll go extinct because our planet is still pretty big but I certainly think a cluster fucked Fallout style scenario is entirely possible. I'd agree with either Bio weapons or nuclear, it also won't matter if it's a private organisation or state for me because it all it takes is for a few batshit crazy people to have the launch codes and we're screwed but I voted state because they tend to have the most insane and corrupt people.

We'll still survive, but chances are it will be on the outskirts of civilisation and away from the major cities because those will be the first targets by whoever decides to launch the weaponry, I think the Fallout game minus the ghouls is a pretty realistic depiction of life after Armageddon.
7006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you connect to my website? on: July 17, 2013, 11:01:21 AM

7007  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you connect to my website? on: July 17, 2013, 10:59:10 AM
Horribly slow and I didn't even get through in the end, they've been playing the deny and blame game with my for awhile now and it's getting infuriating Sad luckily I may have found another host I might be able to switch to eventually.
7008  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you connect to my website? on: July 17, 2013, 10:56:37 AM
That's weird, I can't connect at all and I've done all the usual stuff to eliminate the culprits like the cache, FTP is acting the same.
7009  Other / Off-topic / Can you connect to my website? on: July 17, 2013, 10:52:41 AM
Hey guys, I just wanted to do a quick test if it's okay, can any of you connect to my website? Been having some major problems with it on my end, would appreciate it, I think my web host is dicking around again.

7010  Other / Meta / Re: Temporary Ban for Press Guideline Violators on: July 17, 2013, 09:23:21 AM
And so the Bitcoin forum did get usurped by power hungry users who ruined everything and there was then a mass exodus leaving nothing behind but spammers.
7011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Florida bans Bitcoin mining on: July 17, 2013, 09:20:51 AM
Stop making melodramatic headlines to get people to read your articles, that goes for all of you, the shitty journalism overall right now is astounding, I'm seeing supposed professional journalists do this too.
7012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin owners... on: July 16, 2013, 05:44:19 PM
Should have been just a dude in a university dormitory with several fans pointing at at some GPU's Cheesy To be fair on Bitcoiners though a lot of them including me are going around trying to set up real businesses and produce things rather than just mine Bitcoins all day, that said, I joined Bitcoin when everyone was past the GPU mining phase.
7013  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Cabochon Necklaces - 1 Necklace now in stock on: July 16, 2013, 04:51:42 PM
Here's the Carnelian Setting which is now finished and up for sale I really need to just mess with the camera because now it's gone quite dark even though the photo quality is a bit better and I have no idea why.

It's up for sale the same price as the others, if you buy in alternative currencies that are worth something I'll cover the shipping costs myself:

0.5 BTC

15 LTC

1500 DGC

Since leaving it in my pocket while walking around is what managed to knock the gemstone out of it's setting last time I'll do that again with this one to make sure it's properly set so any potential buyers won't get an unpleasant surprise when it arrives.
7014  Other / Off-topic / Need a new web host, yeah I've decided Synweb sucks now on: July 16, 2013, 01:32:49 PM
I freely admit, I probably jumped the gun so to speak with Synwebhost because FreeVirtualServers were that terrible, they both remind me a lot of Virgin Media in the way they do things, I was happy before because I wasn't having any problems but whenever there were problems they became increasingly difficult when I asked them to fix it. So what web hosts would you guys recommend for me to eventually switch to when everything runs out? I just want the webhost to be reliable most of all and let me bloody fix stuff when I know what's wrong, I also don't want any restrictions on what I can host so warez/adult should be okay, I'm searching around but I'm not finding many promising ones.

Spec wise I will need unlimited bandwidth because I will be selling digital goods as well as real ones, so basically I'd like synweb but with better tech support and uptime lol Tongue
7015  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck me I actually managed to oversleep on: July 16, 2013, 11:17:16 AM
Cheesy I just got some from my pharmacy and holy crap it does make a difference, I'm probably going to need two doses though because it's still not completely gone but it's much better now for sure!
7016  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck me I actually managed to oversleep on: July 16, 2013, 10:34:58 AM
You mean this? http://www.boots.com/en/Beconase-Hayfever-Relief-Nasal-Spray-for-Adults-100-Sprays_8312/

Your link was broken Cheesy Also to be fair, it's not when I'm awake that's the problem, once I take some tablets I'm normally fine, it's waking up that's the issue because the hayfever is so bad right now, I can't take anything while I'm asleep so I think the only sensible thing I can do is make sure I only make appointments in the afternoon when it's summer, I may end up trying that stuff though if it works.
7017  Other / Off-topic / Re: A webhost I use called Synwebhost.com is apparently going to accept Bitcoins on: July 16, 2013, 10:33:10 AM
LOL! Fuck no Tongue They remind me a bit of virgin media though, when everything works, it works great, but if anything breaks down you have to contact terrible tech support staff >_< I'm probably going to move at some point when I get some money so consider any previous endorsements disavowed.
7018  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck me I actually managed to oversleep on: July 16, 2013, 10:15:33 AM
LMAO! Cheesy Those are some really old drawings, my newer stuff has full muscle and everything, I should probably get some stuff posted up for you all, I haven't updated in awhile.
7019  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck me I actually managed to oversleep on: July 16, 2013, 10:11:59 AM
By the way Tongue by crappy weather I mean your version of nice, hayfever severely knocks out this time of year.
7020  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a painting inflate Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2013, 10:07:25 AM
It would probably hype things up a bit because it's such an expensive purchase but in order to have some proper inflation going on you need to have everyone in on it, a bit like with the housing crisis, that's usually how you make a proper bubble, so if you managed to sell several hundred paintings for that value and they all got constantly traded then that would definitely affect the exchange rate, but one by itself no matter what the price isn't really going to do much, people adjust to that sort of thing.

It's a bit like the Winklevoss twins supposedly buying up a huge number of Bitcoins, because it was just them the price hasn't been moved all that much and even then people like them need to spend it so they're Bitcoins will make their way into the market again eventually.
