Can I download a legitimate copy of whatever windows version I want and then buy an activation code or key from yourself?
Is it just as simple as that?

its a great idea I recon! And its something we all should be considering really especially if there are a lot of coins in the wallet The next question is how would you go about creating a "trail" for your beneficiaries to follow?

Hi, As a newbie, I was wondering what you guys think of online wallets in general. Services like coinjar which keep your private keys.
When you trade bitcoins, I assume you will need these services. Should you then transfer the coins to your offline wallet?
I had never heared about coinjar, but after looking them up, it looks like they act both as an exchange and an online wallet. Offcourse, if you want to exchange FIAT to BTC, you'll have to accept that you'll need an account on an exchange somewhere... But my recommandation would be to withdraw your BTC to either a desktop wallet (for reasonably small amounts) or a hardware wallet/paper wallet/airgapped pc as soon as possible. A rule of thumb: if you're not the (only) one in controll of your private keys, you're not the (only) one in controll of your funds. I second this for sure! Online wallets are fine if you are going to use them temporarily for trading or everyday spending etc. Bur for long term holding of currency you really want full control of your wallet. There are a few you could check out: Coinomi Multibit HD Exodus Electrum You can also download the dedicated wallet for each Currency, thats an option.

It's not Illegal, as any Cryptocoin exchanges aren't regulated. But in joining one, you probably have a better chance of losing alot of money than gaining, since the guys at the top always make sure they get out first, then they give the signal and everyone else scrambles to make it out alive.
Yeah, I know, right? You should join a Pump and Dump group and wait for them to announce the coin that is going to be pumped. From that point on: dont buy that coin but go and look at it's 7 hour or 24 hour history and see since what time it is rising. Most of the time, 4 to 8 hours before the pump, the group 'leaders' have already pumped the price up with all of their buyings. They will just put their sell orders a bit above what it is by the time of annoucning and then announce the pumping coin. Making you guys buy all of THEIR sell orders. And after that, it's too late. The price is way too high for what you bought and you will only lose. yea and the 16,000 members is a perfect quantity of people to pump the coin to the "leaders" sell price and then they are left holding bags of overpriced coins. Such a scam im sure there are others apart from the "leaders" who are able to make gains also.

yea long term investment in SIAcoin is good its down now to .00000500 from .00000640 in less than a week I wish people would stop panic selling. be patient and hold for long term, I believe its a good project.

yes I agree, its far better to release a proper bug free milestone update late than to release something "unfinished" and on time, that can only hurt the brand and create doubts.

Lets be clear the market of icos is mainly little bits of software built on ETH. Everything is being focused on what I see as a flawed platform.
You have to look past this short term fashion and at real projects with real innovations in blockchain tech not eth apps!
Xtrabytes is a real innovation but its invisible in a sea of eth apps that might get millions for the scammer ico makers but they will mostly crash to very little value in rhe coming year.
Forget eth apps for long term investing. You will get stung bad and the only winner will be the guys who took btc off you.
Interesting points you make and I agree that there could be real gems of innovation coins/currencies but I think there are also positive blockchain technologies built on the ETH tokens, but yes these may also be hidden in between the other thrash coins on the ETH tokens....

Wow im impressed! its stories like these which makes you believe more in bitcoin and its future. I also like that its mainstream meadia reporting it "The BBC"
here is a quote from the article >
"About 10 parents of the roughly 300 students have opted to pay in Bitcoin so far..."
It just more and more adoption by everyone to make it more and more popular. Thanks for posting

bitcoins original ethos was a no barrier borderless currency for anyone and everyone.
but developers, stuck in their first world mindset have not thought beyond their snobby noses.. so things like taking AWAY fee control's and screaming "just pay more" has effectively turned bitcoin into something only the middle/upper classes would use.
they say using LN will be the solution for the third world unbanked, but those that only want to buy $2 (a weeks salary in some places) will face having to put funds into locked contracts with counterparty control and even managed by commercial hubs. making the point of bitcoin, pointless
I agree even though its a bleak situation we are in at the moment with bitcoin. August the 1st looming and the days and weeks that are to follow. The high fees and long[ish] transaction times for micro payments. Bitcoin was indeed supposed to be available and used by anyone and anyone can buy into it with as little as $15 or at a bitcoin ATM even less I believe. but as above its the fees to buy in and cash out . . .

Cool, almost every day I hear news about what now in some place you can pay bitkoinami. A few more years at such a pace and bitcoins can be paid everywhere
That is not too far to happen because if you know the country of Japan then you can pay bitcoins there in almost all the stores because their government already make bitcoin as a legal currency and a lot of stores and people now are using it in paying things that they bought from stores or any restaurants in their country, bitcoin will become worldwide accepted if the good news and the increase of price will continue. im not so sure that you can pay for goods in Japan in "almost all the stores" Jpana has only recentlyrecognised BTC as a form of payment, it will be a while yet before "almost all the stores" implenent the acceptance of BTCBurger King to accept BTC is definitely good news, if it happens, but its good news and surely to hit main stream media as some point, which is also good!

Belacam is where we make our money. Unlike you, The Ambia Fund doesn't earn anything when Belacoin's price doubles. Therefore, we are taking as much time as needed to make Belacam Gamma as great as we want it to be. Please keep in mind that Belacam Gamma is a private business, separate from the Belacoin currency.
Personally i think if belacam can reach its goals set by the ambiafund BELACOIN can only be positively affected. anyway as I have posted before I like this belacam project and I'm hoping It can be adopted in a mainstream way so that we can all benefit.

There you go! Well, the high transaction fees of bitcoin adds another stepping stone to Litecoin. Blessing in disguise! Etherium, the second among many, the one predicted to replace bitcoin also collects higher transaction fees compared to Litecoin. I guess Litecoin is attracting more investors. Yes good news for Litecoin, fits nicely in this thread! It comes around again this issue about transaction fees and Litecoin is preferred, Good article.

I'm curious how do you authenticate the bars you are buying?
As few months ago I bought 7 silver 1oz 999 bars from different locations. And i ended with 5 nickel! All of the nickel bars were perfectly coated with 1mm 999 silver and tests originally reacted to silver. Then just when i start having some suspicions due to bar's size, re-applied test at the same spot few times shown that the bars are not silver.
There are a few things you can do to test, and I use multiple methods. It can often be simple to fool one test, but if you use multiple tests it gets much harder. BTW where did you buy them from? eBay I assume? Some pictures would be appreciated if it is not too much trouble. I like to know what the recently circulating fakes look like. 1. Try to buy from known trusted vendors. 2. Know what legitimate bars/rounds look like 3. Know what the genuine coloration/finish looks like 4. Check weight, anything significantly higher or lower than the stated weight is a bad sign 5. With acid tests it is best to sand down an area to make sure you are not just testing a silver plate. Many acid test kits include a block with which to do this. You can test what you scratched off directly on the block. 6. A simple test you can do is place an ice cube on your silver and see how long it takes to melt. Since silver is highly conductive it should melt very fast. You can compare with a bar you know is silver to know how long it should take 7. Check the tone of the sound it makes when it is tapped with a hard object. Real silver has a very distinctive ringing tone 8. Silver is diamagnetic, this means it will create an electrical field around it when it comes into contact with a strong magnetic field. If you run a strong neodymium magnet over your silver you will feel resistance as you pass over it. Be aware other metals are diamagnetic as well, so this test alone is not proof. There are more, some are simple, some are expensive. Do a little research and you will find there are plenty of ways you can simply test your bars and rounds to be sure they are real. This is interesting! something a lot of people may not know about, thanks for posting!!

Sadly SunContract has decided against extending the signature campaign, so im not doing the lottery for this last payout. I just gave the original rates for payouts instead. I have all the information on the spreadsheet, so everyone may remove sigs now as this campaign is over for now.
Ill get everyone paid tonight when i get home from vacation.
Thank you to yahoo62278 and to SunContract. I wish the best for Suncontract and will look forward to Yahoo's next campaign.
