I'd like to see his accreditation, to see if we can strip him of it.

20 btc

so you are selling a BFL single for 16.5BTC and buying this for 20BTC , I love your logic ....
1 exists 1 might not? risk/reward.

7047  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon turns One years old 28/09/2013 on: September 30, 2013, 03:21:16 PM
Lol. If you send 1 btc 1000x to and from address you get the same stats.
7048  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC news on: September 30, 2013, 03:13:01 PM
he can simply bump the topic when there's news ...

So all these comments are signalling there is new news, how annoying and unfit for purpose.
7049  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC news on: September 30, 2013, 02:21:52 PM
This is a stupid thread. How do we know if there is any new news? We don't. Create a new temporary thread for every news article, that is the point of a forums.

How would you know if there is news if a new thread was created every time? Check forum threads or check watchlist... seems about the same to me
Well, maybe the guy who started this thread will update the first post as news appears?  And post the update in the thread as well?  Also maybe if we stopped complaining, this thread could be productive?

So we have to keep coming back to the thread in case there is an update? Thats not an update!!
7050  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC block eruptor blade problems with power component. on: September 30, 2013, 02:20:03 PM
See setup thread, if that doesn't bring up any faults then ask in that thread.

is there anyway to change the ip of the servers? and update the dns. granted i know that the dns can take up to 48hours to update. hmm.. maybe not a good idea.

I've been doing that all night.

Do law enforcement ever help out/get interested with ddosing?

personally, im a little excited to see how they proceed. at this point, they are surely looking at how they can fire-sale all thier chips to get the liquidity and space to move forwards on gen2

based on the redhash avalon copy, we should see avalon systems in the 10-20BTC range very soon. I'd even be okay with converting my electric bill payments to BTC as long as i can get back some solid resemblence of my investment in a 3-5month timeframe using conservative calculations - course avalon systems will be the first asic to go offline when the power costs exceed profit (the gen2 competitions are about 700% more efficient)

Their gen2 will be DOA.

RIP

Then they'll just mine the shit out of it.
7058  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoolIT Systems Selected by CoinTerra® to Partner for Liquid Cooling Solution on: September 28, 2013, 02:14:23 PM
If they did 500 or 5000, isn't that sizeable for the bitcoin space? What are they supposed to do, 1,000,000 units? Your point has yet to be made other than the fact that they may be placing a small order to begin with. Perhaps there is a point to them stating it's a longterm partnership...

...what I'm saying is this can't be used as a blanket "oh they're legit/not a scam now". You still have to use the same due diligence as before.
7059  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon turns One years old 28/09/2013 on: September 28, 2013, 04:13:01 AM
Third, Avalon announces a "clearance sale" on refunded chips, that probably will never make ROI unless BTC goes astronomical.

You have to admit, that is absolute conjecture.

Depends on what the price for the "clearance sale" chips, I admit. But, Redhash is quoting about 900 W per 105 Gh/s of old Avalon chips.

The power costs will be the deciding factor.

Agreed its outdated tech (albeit in hand and readily available), but for some with free/ish power, do they really care? I'm sure the penguins do, but fuck the penguins.

*I am aware this is not a penguin.
