7141  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: March 25, 2019, 07:10:45 AM
Nobody can shut down the internet, because internet is a network of servers. Can you shut down all of them?
That's why nobody can shut down the blockchain. As long as there are miners, the blockchain will continue to exist.By the way, bitcoin can be printed on paper.Nobody is saying that bitcoin will be 100% digital. Grin
We already have a global currency. It's called US dollar and it's a pretty shitty global currency. Grin

You can shut it down in parts of the world, or even in a country. The internet is centralized at the moment, this is the problem. And something some people are trying to fix. If you decentralize internet, like Bitcoin with nodes distributed all over the world, then sure,,, you improve chances of servers always able to send and receive information requests.

Bitcoin is digital make it on paper does not make it physical,,, or does it? I am confused.

It seems like we have a few Croatians watching the games and betting here, I never met one in real life:) Do not worry guys, I think this was just a bad form that every team has. You should still easily qualify from the group and can afford to be second.

The ones who must be worried now is Austria I think. They lost both games. The first one maybe unlucky but Poland is a strong team,,,but Israel come back win is very bad for morale,,, interesting group.
7143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do about it? on: March 24, 2019, 04:46:37 PM
Next time I recommend you to invest in working projects. ICOs are dead, it is just a waste of time and money. And now you can only hope that the price ever grows up.
What could be the difference of a working project to the existing ones? I've seen some working projects already but most of it isn't that great and is failing already. Maybe it is because they can't help it when it is in this season that's too much bearishness.

Exactly! Some people just give advice without really understanding how things work. What do they mean, invest in working projects? The only way we as normal people can invest is through ICO. Buying a coin itself from an exchange is the next possible step but that is investing in a coin's value.

If you invest and just hope price goes up, you might as well just buy random altcoins and invest in random ICOs, and bet on sports and hope good luck comes to you.
7144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does online gambling operations manage gambling addiction? on: March 24, 2019, 03:31:30 PM
I think it is difficult to implement because in a sense there is 2 different paths for a business. You want the clients to play more obviously, but at the same time to be ethical and stop addicted players you must prevent them from playing more.

I have personally seen good admins in bitcoin casinos talk to problem players and work it out personally. Like they lock their accounts only to let them chat but not gamble.
7145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: March 24, 2019, 02:13:16 PM
For me i would prefer to trade coins in the market and takes any small profit possible so i could at least close my losses even though it would takes more times, but it should be worth the effort.
It is also advisable that whoever will be choosing the option of trading to recover losses to be more careful in other to avoid more losses, you know it is easier said than done, it is not as if trading is that easy too or would perform one magic, one cannot compare the activity on HOLDING to TRADING.

Someone that has been used to holding seeking to trade must really take his times to learn the trading environment very well and also be able to put all necessary risk management in tool, I am even sure that before he finish learning all about trading, probably the altcoins he has would have been increasing too.

Never chase your losses in trading. That is absolutely not the point. Let the losses be a learning document for you, let you apply your new knowledge and new skills to your future trading. Chasing losses brings you into the gambling attitude of addicted gamblers, where you just cannot sit still and chase losses, taking bigger and bigger risks,,, and of course eventually losing even more and getting frustrated. Don't trade with emotions. Accept that trading is a risky activity and you could lose.
7146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 24, 2019, 12:14:11 PM
So far nothing different in expected results from all the games played. I think if we were expecting to see exciting group games it has not happened yet except for day 1 with Portugal and Scotland losing. Only England and Netherlands are capable so far of scoring big for now but let us see if this form can continue. I always see the favorites do not go on to win.
7147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi.Game | 10 Games | Betting Mining| Profit Dividend | Crash Dice Ring Keno on: March 24, 2019, 10:48:24 AM
It looks like a simple version of Stake.com, perhaps you are inspired by Stake so you create this site but it does not work really well. I just registered and wanted to try the plinko game, it does not fit my laptop screen. The plinko board is just too big on my screen. I have to scroll down to see the betting options.
Related to your SGC token, it seems that you inspired with Betking. It is not really good start imo, as Betking get bad reputation because of their token. I think it is better to build your reputation first before offering the SGC token into investors.

Nothing is wrong with getting inspiration from other sites as long as they do not steal the copyrights directly.

I agree though that the token model is very difficult to achieve. Some casinos here have done it correctly but Betking is a different thing it seems. They made an ICO and kept changing the buyback terms until everyone got confused. And they cancelled many things and did not pay people money, so yes, that is just bad business management not necessarily bad token model.
7148  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anybody tracking lost bitcoins? on: March 24, 2019, 10:16:31 AM
did you lose the private key? if it is lost or has been stolen then it is total and 100% of your bitcoin cannot be returned, unless you save it in exchange and you lose the private key then you can request a private key in exchange

You obviously did not read the OP, I think this is a very well known fact,,, certainly OP knows it. He is just asking for a list of known lost addresses, that is all.

And very bad advice, to save your money in an exchange. You think an exchange will give you the private key for your address, in a wallet shared by 1000s  of other people? You really need to understand how crypto and centralized exchanges and private keys and having your own wallets work. You do not seem to have it down.
7149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chat in gambling on: March 23, 2019, 04:24:05 PM
Not familiar with coding but aren't there already chat services out there that you can imbed in your site? I remember the time when many blogs have Chatango.

Of course it'll be different for a gambling site since you'd want only your registered members to be able to chat within your site but it's likely there are already available scripts that can be used.

Hopefully you'd find one that'll have multiple channels - a single chatbox tend to get cluttered.

I think if you embed things, whatever the function, chat or trollbox or even support ticket, it is the easiest option but somehow for me it always slows down the site, unless you route all the traffic through your own server. Especially for people like me,,, sometimes we are forced to use VPN or other means of access, because our ISP blocks traffic,,, when the internet connections is on 3 or 4 different servers because of the additional embeds, makes things very difficult for us to connect to the entire service.
7150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: March 23, 2019, 12:44:37 PM
Crypto communities are always increasing and this increases public confidence in crypto, we can see altcoins with new and developing projects to provide convenience in every system they offer, I think the situation of crypto price decline has not affected the increasing number of crypto communities.

Actually, this is not the case all the time. If you look at statistics of this site, for example, the forum users have been decreasing over the past few months. And the same for other channels on FB and on Telegram, the crypto followers are getting less and less.

This is because public interest and confidence has dropped, and I have to say it is mainly because of altcoins,,, not the other way around.

You have not been paying attention it seems;)

Thank you for the replies on why these Asian teams are playing in Euro competition. I suppose it is a show of how much the quality of "small" teams have improved over the years, so that even Kazakstan can have a chance to qualify, and a proper win it had to be as well!

England was showing off last night I think, but such a difference to see when the team enjoys the football and is young. Let us see though. Teams that do well in group do not often carry the form into the finals one year away.

Faucet is fully functional! Poker coming soon. The updates don't stop  Grin

Forget about the faucets,,, I think they are great but POKER is amazing update! Just be careful when you launch, the bots are the worse form of playing poker against. Real people may be difficult to come by in the beginning but as long as you keep the games fair, fun and free of bots, people will eventually come because poker is a hard find.

Make sure it makes a system easy to detect and report bots!
7153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 10 Bitcoin Casinos on: March 23, 2019, 08:36:00 AM
There are so.many gambling sites all through 2018 to 2019 and among so many the one I use most is stake.com it first and have great odds for football betting and they accept deposits in cryptocurrencies. The entire gambling industry is growing fast this recent time.

Stake's competitive edge is quite good, they are not always the best, but they are new (I mean their new version) so they did really well. Stake is really big because of the promotional campaigns but we have to remember, big is not a necessary factor. Wagering amounts I think are also a huge aspect of the rating, especially if you have the option to invest like in crypto games, Bitvest or YoloDice. As an investor you want a lot of wagering action:)
7154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: March 23, 2019, 08:02:00 AM
Last year, I stopped believing that this project would survive. But this year the Waves began to grow and it was very unexpected for me. Now it seems to me that this project will be able to survive and benefit society.

Big news,,, this is what 99% of the so-called crypto community did, giving up in the bear market, which just proved to everyone that you were in it for the quick profits and money, not about the technology or even about using crypto. But that is okay, we all deserve to do what we feel is right for us.

This year, last year, the year before, Waves has always been growing. The price is not reflective of growth. In fact after price decline, this is when Waves really grew, their platform keeps getting better and faster and more easy to use. What else can we ask for?
7155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: March 22, 2019, 02:30:14 PM
Market Prediction For Binance Coin By Experts

1 Digital Coin Price
Digital Coin Price has given BNB predictions for every month in 2019. They have predicted that by 2019 end, Binance Coin might reach $22.86, which is a fairly conservative prediction.

2 Coin Fan
Coin Fan is known for its optimistic and bullish prediction. They have predicted that BNB might reach $109 by the end of 2019 and by 2020 end, BNB might reach $390.815.

3 Crypto Ground
Crypto Ground believes that the value of BNB might depreciate in the coming months and might go down to $6.4202 and in 5 years time frame, BNB might reach $28.1705.

4 Trading Beasts
Trading Beasts also have given a considerably pessimistic and bearish prediction, where they believe BNB might fall to $12.33 by the end of 2019 and might reach $26.92 by 2020 end.

Read complete article here: https://coinswitch.co/news/binance-coin-price-prediction-2019-bnb-price-may-touch-25-usd-in-2019-bnb-news

Sorry but I have never heard of any of these experts,,, are they from a specific region like maybe China because they do BNB predictions?

$22 is the lowest prediction and that is quite crazy to think about it. Even the worst which is $12 is a profit for most people who bought at $10. I see the value and utility of BNB for sure, but should that price really be so important at 20 dollars? It seems quite unreasonable if I look at the cost of the trades in fees.
7156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 22, 2019, 11:13:20 AM
Belgium defeated Russia with 3-1 goal.Hazard scoree twice, a great performance by him.Belgium is one of the favourite team of Euro 2020.They can be the winner also.In last world cup they beat Brazil. And the man Hazard is the key for Belgium.I wish Hazard to be on Real madrid Squad soon.Because he deserve to be on the No1 club in the world.

I was hoping for Russia to create an upset, but just like at Chelsea, if Eden Hazard plays well, then his team will always win,,, or rather at Chelsea they can have a chance to draw;)

I am very interested to see the different styles of the new teams I have never seen. Kosovo for example, and Georgia and Andorra and all those small countries, who never got a chance to go to EURO, but I believe even if they do not win from the group stage they can pass through from Nations League?
7157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 22, 2019, 10:11:30 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Same here. I had a lot of coins worth over $10 each but for me I did not feel like I wanted to go through the hassle of signing up at some DEX and then taking the trades for a small amount and withdrawing the ETH.

In fact after all the fees that $10 would become maybe $5 and that felt like a waste to me.

Problem is after waiting now most of those tokens are worth a few cents. I hold them because they are not even enough to trade out.
7158  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetOnBit.com | Unique betting site | Real Money & Crypto | Sports & Esports on: March 22, 2019, 07:42:48 AM
Well done to OP,,, very quick to respond, and very quick to change the rules to suit the community. Congratulations on removing the need for KYC ever, this alone is what will bring you success. Remember, people use Bitcoin because they want control and privacy,,, things like KYC is completely unnecessary.

Now, let us see your performance with withdrawals. I think it should always be free but set to a high limit, or allow people to choose fees to pay. If they want free, use low fees.
7159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 21, 2019, 02:40:47 PM
I am not even from the European region but I always follow EURO and Copa America, and if anyone follows the big football leagues there is always a lot of meaning behind the European competitions anyway.

Somehow the quality of the games are also quite high, but of course the display of skills are much less than the physical since they do not get the South American samba or the African character of games.

Traditionally I enjoyed the games of Yugoslavia in the old days, the German team is too technical for me to enjoy and yes,,, I remember they beat Brazil badly a few years back. I feel it is the time for Italy again to regain their glory in Europe, so they should go and win the last Group I.

How come Groups have 5 or 6 teams? Are some teams supposed to play more games in the groups with 6 teams?

7160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about control versus freedom in Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2019, 02:19:55 PM
I will say here that I cannot really answer many of the questions. I am only a user of Bitcoin for over a year, maybe you can say two years if you count everything in. And probably I will not know more than I do now. I am interested purely as a user of a new technology that lets me control the money I spend without trusting anyone.

So that is the freedom I like. I guess I wish I had even more control. Like, I want to send it faster sometimes, and not wait 30 minutes for a new block and maybe even more if my fee was not enough. Things like that. I hope my small answer helps.
