I think this is entirely due to the sideways movement of btc price. People are trying to multiply their portfolio by trading into altcoins. If the trend continues, cryptoverse will be mainstream and the payment/banking system will be replaced. We are in a digital age now and cryptocurrency - once adopted by the people, will become the future of money.

In my opinion, the major benefit of bitcoin is that it is the brand of cryptocurrency itself. Also, most merchants are accepting bitcoin only and not recognizing other cryptocrurrencies yet. Bitcoin has become the trademark of the cryptoverse.

Everything that is happening right now is all part of the cycle, there will always be Bloodbath and Christmas time in cryptoverse. A wise investor/trader always have a strategy and set how much profit/loss they can take. Do not let your emotions affect your strategy or else, it could result to panic selling.

Not a chance, for now. Maybe if Amazon will utilize ETH within this year, ETH still has a long way to go. Bitcoin has been the brand of cryptocurrency itself and still is the king. I think of it now as one of the alts I would invest in because the value could grow exponentially as well but has higher risk of pump and dump.

The big corporations could be controlling majority of the media and they are against crypto because it has the potential to replace the traditional banking system. However, all of these negativities they're spreading from the start of bitcoin's rise does not affect or kill bitcoin, in fact, it became stronger than ever. Negative publicities are still free publicities which makes people get curious about bitcoin.

For beginners, Bitcoin is your entry point in cryptoverse. Do your own research and you must have experience in trading if you want to invest in other cryptocurrency. Knowledge is power when it comes to investment. Never stop learning, and it is okay to have mistakes, it is the best experience you will have.

The new generation is in a digital age today. In our everyday life, internet is needed for almost all of the transactions globally. The society needs bitcoin for almost real time transactions in transferring their money. Advancement in technology is relative to the advancement of society. If the technology of blockchain is utilized like the internet and smartphone, we may be able to see a brighter future.

The future of BTC's price is truly unpredictable, what I believe is that it has the potential to become the future of money due to its remarkable technology which I hope to be developed further and be fixed of its flaws.

My personal choice would be those coins with real world projects and POS coins. BUZZ is undervalued right now and highly recommended due to its staking. Do your own research in finding good altcoins to invest in, check their roadmap and the team behind the development.

Word of mouth and social media influence will take bitcoin to mass adoption/mainstream. All the news about it no matter whether it is negative or positive will make people curious about it. Understanding cryptoverse will depend on how they perceive it, scam accusations and negativities will spread like wildfire but bitcoin will still prevail. The technology behind bitcoin is for the new generation and the future. Beside from social media promotion, bitcoin also need advertisements on TV and radio.

I borrowed some money from my bank last August and bought BTC at $3k level and have fully paid what I borrowed last December upon selling my BTC at $18k level. There is nothing wrong in borrowing but one must exercise caution with it and know the risks involved. You must have extra income to pay for what you borrowed in case worst things happen. Borrowing money is what big corporations are doing to expand their businesses.

In my opinion, bitcoin's price could rise if the lightning network has been implemented and it could also rise of there are good news about it. The sideways movement of BTC price is just accumulation stage of some investors who traded their BTC to alts so that they can multiply their BTC. In cryptoverse, the possibilities and impossibilities are endless.

For me, the best time to sell is when you have already achieved your goal/target price. Profit is still a profit no matter how small or big. If you want to achieve your goal, you can start small and make it grow by nurturing it. Equip yourself with the proper knowledge and skills on how to grow your investment and be patient.

There is risk in everything. It all depends on how you manage it. Cost averaging method for long term is an effective strategy for accumulating your BTC. You also have to set your goal and not just look at the price. You should not let greed take over and affect your goal. Greed is good but not too much.

Also, I think that more negativities, dramas and issues about it will also spread like mushroom. Scams will also spread like a disease.

An unforeseen future of bitcoin does not mean it is a bubble. The amazing technology behind bitcoin and the potential for it to become the future of money is what makes most investors attracted to bitcoin, resulting for its price to grow exponentially. It is a revolutionary and different kind of investment unlike the traditional assets mentioned. Those who call it a bubble could only be fearing what they do not understand, and their reaction formation is to spread FUD and argue. It is better to have it and not need it than need it but don't have it.

Bitcoin being used by criminals or they're using somebody else who's innocent to launder their money from BTC is entirely possible. The underworld have so many ways to clean their dirty money. The abuse of the technology behind bitcoin is the negativity that's pulling down bitcoin's development to its full potential.

I personally don't think that ripple will overtake bitcoin, people are just hyping it currently and it is all over social media too. They have good marketing strategy for now because of the big corporations associated with it, but once the whales have cashed out from this coin, those who bought at a higher price will be doomed.
