721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kraken.com down on: December 12, 2013, 04:13:50 PM
They were online just few hours ago  Huh ,Perhaps a server overload as the site is receiving more interest and use in the few last weeks. we can only wait for an official response.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC to USD to bank? (US) on: December 12, 2013, 04:12:06 PM
Localbitcoins might be a good option as you don't need to verify your ID/address in the website,You can get paid in almost all payment methods though it's better to avoid highly reversible ones like PayPal and the face to face might not be comfortable to some people but there are other possible methods cash bank deposits etc...
723  Economy / Economics / Re: So, a guy paid with E-check. Should i be worried? on: December 12, 2013, 04:08:00 PM
Kinda strange specially the difference in name part, and also E-Bay is tough with BTC's but with such a method of payment it's even more suggestive this is fraud. I doubt you can do anything if you have sent the btc's but I might be mistaken.
724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's stupid that newbies must make 5 posts and browse for 4 hours. Here's why on: December 12, 2013, 04:00:23 PM
it's to avoid having someone opening the tab and just refreshing now and then and getting into the site even with multiple accounts. anyway I think it has already been lowered and at 1 post only now which is quite easy to accomplice even without spamming.
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any user of Cex.io | on: December 12, 2013, 03:58:13 PM
You go and select the price you want to buy at,amount to spend on order and the quantity that correspond to the amount. Not sure if the price there is realistic though (specially if they added the fee they were talking about).
726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptsy is a SCAM on: December 12, 2013, 03:55:29 PM
I had a YAC deposit not crediting for few hours,I contacted them and the deposit was added. I withdrawn it after sometime and it went though. They have some issues currently with the new design but I guess their name worth allot and they won't scam for few bitcoins.
727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got recommended here through Reddit to post about my Bitcoin Keychain on: December 12, 2013, 03:52:03 PM
it certainly look nice  Grin and might be useful to let other people be interested in btc's (it draw attention for sure). adding a little symbol (BTC) might make it more interesting.
728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoin reach $10,000 one day...? on: December 12, 2013, 03:46:50 PM
it already reached the $1,000 some time ago but I think there is a long way to go to reach the $10,000,I think it might be at that level after 5-10 years if the current growth continues at these rates or close to it.
729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Without drug trading sites there would be no Bitcoin on: December 12, 2013, 03:44:48 PM
In my opinion If it's so linked to drugs it would have fallen to a few cents after silkroad's shutdown,in some previous time it was very Dependant on that market but now there is an increased use and trading it as a commodity has risen.
730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Difficulty Estimations on: December 12, 2013, 03:42:52 PM
no site offers all ten upcoming increases, but one of the good sites offering next increases bitcoinwisdoms's calculator and they are someway accurate compared to many others. generally it's increasing so buying a new miner might no longer be profitable but if you are already working in mining...
731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC-e and LiqPay on: December 12, 2013, 03:14:57 PM
There are tons of exchangers accepting liqpay (almost all of them) but there are %3-4% extra and some of these exchangers are listed on btc-e user-surface but you should check their legitimacy on their own.
732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bter.com scam? on: December 12, 2013, 03:12:02 PM
Bter is a working in the current period (I have withdrawn 0.01) .I guess the reason for this is some kind of hacking for the website or for a number of users accounts, and they disabled them for security but I am not sure about this.
733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Double fund (deposit) on same BTC address in BTCCHINA. OOPS! on: December 11, 2013, 04:19:45 AM
it's good that Webmoney people cancelled the transaction before it passed through. BTChina support and employ number are most likely limited compared to the number of customers they have and therefore support is delayed so they might not be the best in short term support.
734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend an exchange to use to buy bitcoins? And not wait a week? on: December 11, 2013, 04:17:14 AM
Localbitcoins with a highly trusted member and with bank deposit (if you don't like the face to face deals). None of the big exchangers today allow a deal without Identity Verification and bankwire's take time to confirm so waiting a week is almost mandatory.
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin most traded commodity on plus500 on: December 10, 2013, 07:07:11 PM
Nice achievement  Grin though BTC already reached other interesting landmarks like beating WU in amount transferred daily (according to a statistics site).
Plus500 themselves are quite picky,They are refusing my country and about 20-30 other countries.
736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Barclays closing bank accounts related to Bitcoin on: December 10, 2013, 07:03:02 PM
I saw some of these and it's strange they knew you were selling bitcoins as the transactions themselves don't indicate anything . Did all the money go through properly with no "chargeback" issues? or do they somehow recognize payments related to bitcoins?
737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Dollar worth 0.0001 BTC one day on: December 10, 2013, 06:56:11 PM
Perhaps in the future bitcoins will reach $10,000 or even more but in this time it's difficult to see this happening as bitcoins is in the $1000 and little above and below area, and jumping in price (after already reaching a large amount) ten times is difficult.
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trademark BITCOIN on: December 08, 2013, 02:31:36 PM
I doubt this will be registered as a trademark. It's like getting "jeans" or "gold" registered as a trademark and even if it passes through the first level of checking there will be sufficient complaints.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UPDATE 2-China bars banks from bitcoin transactions on: December 08, 2013, 02:27:06 PM
in my opinion,it's not good news for bitcoins at all. Now no merchant is allowed to use or accept it as a method of payment (money) and all merchants who added it are removing it,Documents for verification slow the process of buying but might not effect bitcoin personal use in china.
740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People's Bank of China Says Bitcoin Cannot Circulate as Currency in the Market on: December 05, 2013, 08:08:19 PM
That caused the today's bitcoin price fall. China are a new and important market and with this move the china involvement in bitcoin market is limited. I wonder what will happen to china's exchangers though as this new rule (or instructions) is against them.
