Trying to see my test tokens using the "Send Tokens" options over MEW only to see "Invalid Symbol", has anyone been able to check their test tokens in MEW? http://imgur.com/a/8XTy6EDIT: No worries, I found a way to see that it worked, in the token data: https://etherscan.io/token/0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 there's a "Filter By Address" option, I just wrote down my public ETH address et voilá, my ICN test token with the decimals is there. Hope it helps. Confirmed! |

doubt the new attack is has as much impact as the first. hope there will be no further delay I hope too for no more further delays. Iconomi team should give us an update about this 2nd hf thing if its possible True. Also Iconomi, what if ultimately Ethereum fails. What is the backup scenario? |

Why can't you guys launch on ETC chain? I think it only had problem with DAO and that's why they forked it but does iconomi has the same issues as DAO? then why not launch it on ETC since it's the original ETH?

Hey, First, your ICNs won't be invested in the ICNX, so you won't get any money directly from the INDEX rise. If you want to, you would have to invest directly in the ICNX. Second, no way to calculate that for now. Your ICN will bring you money from the fees collected on the funds. The more money in the funds, the bigger the dividends. What's good with the rise is that it will attract more and more investors, thus bringing fees to the platform, and dividends to you. But if my ICN are not invested why should i buy ICN? Or must I invest with these ICN in ICNX? the general idea behind this is that for ICN represent a share of the company ICONOMI.. Correct me if I am wrong though! |

The gas cost confuses my noobsy brain. Do I have to own gas in order to send Tokens? Is gas actually Ether?
yes, gas = ether so if you want to send ICN from your wallet you will need some ETH on it too. ETH will be used for the transaction fee in the ETH network I wonder why they just didn't call it the transaction cost, like in any other crypto  Must be Vitalik |

Gas is the internal pricing for running a transaction or contract in Ethereum. At the time of writing before the launch of Frontier it is fixed to 10 Szabo, which is about 1/100,000 of an Ether. In fact the term Gas cost is just a way of confusing people, it is simply the Ether cost you have to pay to get your Ethereum message or transaction executed as soon as possible.
