I think claymore and optiminer are both struggling claymore hasn't released a upgrade in a few and optiminer got a increase in speed because he dropped his dev fee I thing he had it a 10% at one point now it's either 2 or 2.5% so he gained 8% in speed I also think he's running a little over claymore.
Also of course claymore and optiminer both watch these forums to see who's doing what they are competing they'd be idiots not keeping tabs on each other and zawawa

Seems like claymore is in the same spot...wouldnt be surprised if his recent "eureka" moment is from the discussion happening in this thread.

Oh, I'm now pretty sure he reads this thread. It's really funny in an ironic sense, but it does make things a bit more challenging for me. It's like playing poker with you being the only player with open hands. Oh well.

I am not entirely sure if I would take his current approach, though. I'm not going to feed my competition this time around, so he has to figure things out himself...
I find these assumptions a bit odd, he has been fastest 95% of the time since launch, and people assume he uses methods from slower miners.  I think recent improvements are just to keep up with Optiminer, and timing is a coincidence.  He already had ASM working well many weeks ago for all cards.  I can't know for sure, I just find it odd that every time there is a CM speedup, some assume automatically it is from others.

Keep up the good work, just posting my thoughts.
yes but zawawa was talking asm than suddenly claymore implemented it that's just weird timing but could be a coincidence

Guys what should i buy Purevidz or Komodo?
That's a good question I'd do half of one and half the other both have good potential
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] www.komodopool.com - New KMD POOL (EquiHash) on: February 08, 2017, 09:53:49 PM
It's nice that you run payouts every 30 mins that says you keep smaller miners in mind unlike some pools that run every 24 hrs but also need a min to get paid also the fee free week is cool that's the little things that make us miners appreciate running on certain pools Thanks

It is best to use AF.

732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making a group buy thread on Eliovp's pandaminer os + rom. on: February 04, 2017, 03:40:33 PM
I sent pms to get emails from the list below.

There will be 7 emails  with 11 os + rom.

a share = 1 rom + 1 os

11 shares at the moment of 11
 0 left

I have my email     philipma1957 2 x 70 = 140
I have your email   Eyedol-x        2 x 70 = 140
I have your email   charles2k       1 x 70 =   70          maybe 2 down the road.

I have your email   Dermelon       1 x 70 =   70

                              fuzion1           3 x 70 =  210
                              FFI2013          1 x 70 =  70          maybe 2 down the road
                              Islidur             1 x 70 =  70

We have 11 I will set up payments.

If this runs successful by everyones standards.
I would do a second one.
I would also offer some assistance to ease Eliovp's work load.

all payments will go here.

733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - BETA UPGRADE 2-7% performance boost on: February 04, 2017, 02:08:17 PM
How do you specify gpumaxalloc in the pascal miner?
All miners are run with those parameters:
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PRECENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
export GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=1

When do you expect for Optiminer 1.6 be updated?
Now

UPDATE 1061
- optiminer-zec v1.6
(When new miner version comes, you need to reload/reboot your rig to start using tis version)
I have two questions first when pasc sgminer starts is says warning export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PRECENT isnt set also I think the temps arent reading wright because my 290 and 390 seems to be throttling they wont go past 1000 core clock and Im saying this because there temps on simplemining dashboard are showing like 55 to 62 and my 290 is a reference card so I no it runs a lot hotter than that so because of this Im losing 200 mh on each hawaii I dont no if you can look into it or give me a suggestion thanks
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 04, 2017, 11:14:51 AM
Pascal Lite is not shutting down because it wouldn't be fair for all the miners so far. It currently still has over 200,000 MH/s hashrate however I am looking for a qualified developer with some reputation to take over the project, if it doesn't happen i'll still maintain the coin by doing all the necessary security updates and keeping nodes alive.

Reason I decided to step down is because when the coin was launched some miners exploited that "time sync" bug and 90% of all the blocks went to 1 or 2 miners.

What happened afterwards I started getting alot of threatening PMs and people sending me screenshots of their "PascalMiner 0.2" screen showing that they've found a block or two, weren't credited and wanted me to send them that block. Others said they would open a scam accusation against me saying I knew about the bug and launched the coin anyways to scam people out of their hashrate. This bug however existed in PascalCoin 1.4.2 just nobody exploited it until it was released with my coin.

So its just too much of a headache to deal with it at the moment and alot of hate in the community which is demanding a relaunch mostly which I can't do.

I agree with you it's not your fault also I think that time sync exploit bug was found before with pasc before the pools launched my miner keep reporting I was finding blocks but weren't credited also there where other ppl with high hashrates than me saying the same thing so

Here's the my issue I would like one but could I buy a os at a later time Im only asking because I own a flooring company and its our slow season so I wont be getting a panda till march or would Eliovp be open to do a second group buy next month Thanks
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: February 03, 2017, 11:09:49 PM
I rather they not try to beat these numbers anymore and work on better efficiency.  Right now all we're doing is killing the GPU by working them too hard and since everyone's hash rate increase, we're not truly gaining anything as difficulty moves up with it.  This is only increasing our power and cooling cost, heat and faster death for GPUs.  I'm starting to see more and more of my rigs with at least 1 GPU doing 0 hash as they're starting to choke.
King, Tahiti GPU is started in 2011. Since then, my 3 x 7950 reference graphics cards working non - stop overclocked to 1075 MHz for the GPU (default clock is 840 MHz). It is for 6 years (2011-2017). Also my 7970 SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X works also overclocked to the maximum - 1100 MHz. The same is true for the 6 x RX480 and  2 x nVIDIA GTX1070. Stories of shortening working life it is stories for toddlers and pussy. Provide superior power supply, adequate cooling and other high-end components and do not be afraid .
I here that I have gigabyte 270s that I have maxed out the clocks on since litecoin was gpu minable and there still working there a$$ off

Im trying to use sgminer ethash with mixed gpus on win 10 pro and sgminer only builds a bin for Hawaii I tried to start sgminer by choosing my Tahiti or 270 and it still doesn't build a bin for them
the only solution I've figured is two instances with enumerated devices in each config.

edit: if I recall correctly....

Thanks for the suggestion Im going to try it but a few post above said eth trouble mining with 16.6 drivers and this stupid win 10 pro keeps updating to 16.6 as soon as i plug the internet back in I have disabled it not to but it still does Im thinking of going back to win 7 I never had any of these problems Thank You

When making a withdrawal from polo to my pasc account what or where do I find payload
AFAIK that is not necessary, just the account number should work fine.
Thanks I was thinking that because I searched through the wallet and couldn't find payload anywhere unless I missed it
