721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Litecoin or Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 11:37:38 AM
Huh Huh Huh Huh

My vote is ether.
I would probably advice you to invest in all three of them as all of them are very popular and have alot of potential. They can show good amount of growth in future and you can expect healthy amounts of profits from them in the long run.
BITCOIN is the master of all cryptocurrency and is without any doubt, the most popular of all cryptocurrencies available out there. It is the most stable and most widely accepted crypto available in the market.
LITECOIN for its lightning fast transactions and almost zero transaction fees. It is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin as it has a block time of just 2.5 minutes. You can expect it's price to be above 300$ within 2-3 years
Ethereum is the most popular platform for hosting ICOs and new projects. It has a very strong development team and you can expect it's price to be above 1000$ within 1-2 years.
A diversification between all of them can help you reduce the market risks.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What scares them the most? on: October 30, 2017, 02:48:01 AM
What are some of the reasons you've heard from people as to why they're afraid of cryptos?
Most of the people are afraid of the highly volatile nature of crypto. The fear of loosing everything in one day makes them stay away from the crypto world.
The decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies is another factor why people hesitate to invest in cryptocurrencies. They believe that a thing not supported by government of the country will never survive in future.
Some people are also afraid of being scammed by some ponzi scheme or a shitty ICO as almost all ICOs are scam and it is very difficult to tell which project is legit and which is not.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to claim my bitcoin gold? on: October 29, 2017, 08:15:12 PM
Hi guys I knew you will just have to keep ur bitcoin inside a wallet that u holds the private key until the snapshot happens , now the snapshot is over , how do I claim my bitcoin gold? Everyone just say u will be getting it as long as you has the private key , but the problem is what should I do with my private key in order to get my bitcoin gold?
I've been struggling to find the answer , can any pros here mind to enlighten me?
I think that the Bitcoin gold network will go public in November and only then you can claim your Bitcoin gold. You would simply need the private keys to the wallet in which you were holding Bitcoin at the time of the hard fork on 25th October. You can claim your Bitcoin gold by importing your Bitcoins with help of your private keys in various wallets which support Bitcoin gold like Freewallet, Coinomi etc. Your Bitcoin gold will automatically be credited in your wallet after the network goes public on November 1.
For any further information, refer to the official Bitcoin gold website https://bitcoingold.org/.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs Ripple on: October 29, 2017, 04:58:10 PM
I heard Waves will be evolution of what Ripple attempted to be. Well Waves has some similarities with Ripple but seems better and less centralised. What is your take on it?
I think ripple is way more popular and better than waves. It is a project based upon the idea of global value transfer and real time gross settlement. It is truly a revolutionary project which can change the global banking scenario. Ripple has been increasingly adopted by banks and is Used by companies such as UniCredit, UBS and Santander. All of this shows the enormous potential and daily usage ripple has got, you can expect the price of ripple to be around 1$ in 10 or so years.

Well for me Ripple is good cause of transaction is so fast and I really love it Smiley
The payment transaction time is close to a few seconds which makes it one of the best choices for global transactions and found transfers.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know what kind of service civic will provide down the road? on: October 29, 2017, 09:33:29 AM
We are developing a dApp which requires identity management. We don't want to invest in it if civic will deliver such a service. Does anybody have any insights about their product? Thanks a lot!
Civic is a project based upon the idea of identity verification with help of block chain technology. Civic is basically an identity management service that allows people to protect and authorize the use of their identity. The services are also provided at very cheap rates and membership costs you very few dollars per month.
In future, you can expect civic to partner with various banks and credit card companies and you can expect a very wide use of civic in future
The team of the project is also very very strong and VINNY LINGHAM - the founder of the project is a very experienced technologist.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eligible to invest in ICO? Simple Question on: October 29, 2017, 08:02:26 AM
Hello,

I am a newbie so please pardon my silly question. I am Indian citizen but currently living/working in USA.

I have seen in some ICO websites that they don't allow citizens from USA to invest in them. Is this also true when the coin hits exchange? Can I but any coin from exchange or are there restrictions?

Yes, you can invest in various coins by buying them from various exchanges. You might face about of problem when you will get them exchanges for dollars, but i don't think that you will face any problems if you get them exchanges for rupees in India.you can simply cash them out in an Indian bank account and transfer the money into your us bank account.
And also there are some developers and projects who will allow you to invest in their ICO as these restrictions are put up by the developers only to protect them from the government procedures and allegations.
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 05:57:32 AM
I have two bitcoins
i need to invest them
I'm looking for where to invest
Any recommendation
I would advice you to diversify your portfolio between popular and progressive altcoins like ETHEREUM, MONERO, LITECOIN and RIPPLE as these coins will surely grow in future and you can earn huge profits by holding them in the long run.
You can also invest some part of your investment in some upcoming unique ICO which you think can grow in future. I would recommend you to invest in XAURAM GAMMA and XENIO coin. Both of these projects can really grow in future.
.
I have two bitcoins
i need to invest them
I'm looking for where to invest
Any recommendation
I think investment on bitcoin is not a good decision now. Because it is so risky and scam are available. Why you want to invest where you can easily earn huge profit from holding. Holding is one kind of investment, i think it.

Holding your Bitcoins is also a good way to earn profits as Bitcoin has alot of potential to grow.
728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u think bitcoin value in 2018 will be $ 15K? on: October 28, 2017, 05:59:57 PM
Do u think bitcoin in 2018 will be $ 15K?

What is your idea guys?
Bitcoin is the master of all crypto and it is without any doubt, the most popular crypto available in the market.bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow in the future ans It is one of the fastest growing investments available in the market right now. they are hard to earn, limited in supply and easy to verify. With the increasing popularity and adoption of Blockchain technology, Bitcoin will certainly grow in future.
I think by end of 2018, a price of 15k$ is very much achievable if Bitcoin continues to grow with the same rate at which it is growing right now.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's future on: October 28, 2017, 05:52:00 PM
Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.

What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?
Litecoin is one of the good projects available in the market right now as it is one of the most popular altcoins available in the market right now. It is popular because it's transactions are lightning quick as it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin. The fee charges in transactions is also very reasonable.
The project has alot of potential to grow and i am expecting it's price to be above 300$ within 2-3 years.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: October 24, 2017, 02:25:36 AM
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Thanks

Bitcoin is a very good platform for earning money because it gives many ways by which one can start earning money. Firstly one can start earning bitcoin by bitcoin mining. Then one can earn money by trading of bitcoins. Then on can earn money by lending them as a loan and can earn on the return. Then one can also enroll in a signature campaign where one has to post on relevant topics and then they are paid accordingly to the quality of posts. Then one can also earn via gambling of bitcoin although it is risky.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: October 24, 2017, 01:41:10 AM

What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/
No I don’t think that bitcoin can eliminate all the banks from the world because firstly banks are more efficient than bitcoin. Then banks are way more popular than bitcoin among the people and because of which they have more users too. Then banks are available everywhere and easily accessible. And lastly banks do not need internet to run which is a big limitation of bitcoin. So because of all these reasons I don’t think bitcoin will be able to eliminate banks from the world.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: October 23, 2017, 08:41:35 PM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.
No I don’t think that bitcoin has defeated gold as a total although it has defeated it in terms of price. This is because firstly  Gold is a precious metal and has a physical entity whereas bitcoin is just a digital currency. Then Gold is more stable than bitcoin. Gold is regulated by government or banks which increases its stability where as bitcoin is not regulated by any government which decreases it’s stability. Then Gold is more popular among people then bitcoin Because of which it has gained more users then bitcoin.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you going to invest in now? on: October 23, 2017, 08:32:53 PM
Hi,

We all know the fork is going to happen very soon and the alternative coins are at their lowest price. I want to invest a small amount into some of the coins but not sure which ones. So my question is what are you going to invest in or have recently invested in? And how much?

I'm looking at one or two of following:

Waves
Xtrabytes
Komodo
Walton

Can't make up my mind yet. Maybe you can help me.

Cheers
I would really like to invest my money in MONERO, LITECOIN and RIPPLE. All of these coins are based upon unique ideas and can show really good amount of growth in future. MONERO is based ion the ideas of privacy and the transactions are completely secure and untraceable. The price of monero will surely be above 200$ within 2-3 years.
LITECOIN is a project which is known for its quick transactions. It is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin as it has a block time of 2.5 minutes.
RIPPLE is a project based up on the idea of global banking and global value transfer. Many banks have partnered with ripple and hence this project can show tremendous growth in coming years.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 23, 2017, 08:21:23 PM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?
Bitcoin has come a long way since it had started and has seen tremendous success. During these years bitcoin has gained immense amount of popularity among the people which has lead to  increase in its users. But still I don’t think that bitcoin will become an international currency because firstly bitcoin is not stable form of currency and its value keeps on fluctuating. Secondly bitcoin is not regulated by any government which decreases its stability.  Thirdly it is way more less popular than the fiat money. Leading to limited bitcoin users.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wil Ethereum surpass Bitcoin in the long term? on: October 23, 2017, 07:44:36 PM
Bitcoin ofcouse is the main cryptocurrency but what do you guys think of long term value of Ethereum? seems that developers do not like it much but its applications seems limitless. could it surpass bitcoin in future?
Ethereum is a coin which has alot of potential and is the platform which hosts most of the new projects and ICOs. The team is strong and the project seems very promising but i don't think that ethereum will be able to surpass Bitcoin in the long run as Bitcoin is the master of all cryptocurrencies. It is the most popular crypto and is the most widely accepted crypto available in the market. I don't think that ethereum will be able to surpass Bitcoin as it is nowhere as popular and as stable as Bitcoin.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 23, 2017, 07:32:29 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
Yes I do believe that bitcoin reduces unemployment and makes people financially strong.  It ultimately leads the economy  to become more stronger. Bitcoin provides many ways for people to earn money firstly, one can   Join signature campaigns where he or she has to post on relevant topics and then they are accordingly paid. This is just like getting employed at a company where one has to devote his or hers time and energy and is being paid in return so ultimately This makes a person more financially strong and Provide employment leading to decrease in unemployment.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: October 23, 2017, 07:11:58 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
No. I don’t think that bitcoin is better than gold although it has achieved great heights in its field and is really successful and has defeated gold in terms of price. This is simply because of the following reasons. Firstly, gold is more stable than bitcoins so its value does not change like bitcoins. Then it is regulated by government so it is more stable whereas bitcoin is not governed by any government which decrease its stability. Then gold is a precious metal and has physical entity whereas bitcoin is just digital currency.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 23, 2017, 05:05:41 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Yes. I do believe that its a risky option to put all your money into bitcoin as, it is not a stable form of currency so it’s prices keep on changing very often. It is not regulated by any government or bank so because of which also it’s value keeps on fluctuating and does not attain stability and also can result in collapsing. Also it is not that popular so because of which there limited users around the world. Then bitcoin is not trusted by many people so there are very few people who use it. Then many places don’t accept bitcoin. These are the main reasons because of which one should not put all in bitcoin.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: October 23, 2017, 08:26:45 AM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

Yes, it’s true that bitcoin helps people to earn money, become financially strong and ultimately become rich. This is because bitcoin provides various ways to earn money. Bitcoin is a very good platform to earn money. Firstly one can start earning money by bitcoin mining. Secondly, one can do bitcoin trading to earn money. One can lend money too. One can join signature campaign where he or she has to post on relevant topics and then they are paid accordingly. Bitcoin gambling is also a way but as its gambling so it’s a risky job.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: October 23, 2017, 07:58:07 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
Cryptocurrencies are doing really great but still I don’t think that they can make real money disappear. Because firstly, real money is way too popular than the cryptocurrencies. Which has lead to increased usage of real money than bitcoin. Secondly, real money is stable as compared to bitcoin because of which its value does not fluctuate often whereas bitcoin value fluctuate a lot. Then real money is regulated by the government which increases its stability and does not let it fail. Whereas bitcoin is not governed by any government so it decrease its stability and can fall.
