/// but also an obvious attempt of trying to justify something that they should not be doing.

It's true that what is wrong should not be justified or distorted. I am not a Muslim, but I believe that the teachings from the church and the Bible have specific meanings and should not be interpreted differently. Not everyone is highly educated, which is why a straightforward interpretation can be easily understood. What would happen if actions that were originally declared as sins were justified as 'okay'? 'Okay' can be subjective and may not always align with what is right or wrong. I think there should be clear distinctions between right and wrong.

One thing for sure is if he cares about his future then he can somehow find a way to stop it and will change his views regarding luck and opportunity to become financial free and rich. honestly, there are lots of ways to achieve those goals and you don't seem to find it in playing the whole day and night on your computer especially when you win once and you lose thrice.

from time to time, a person should assess himself of what he is now in life, and what he truly wants to achieve. because without assessment of what's going on with your life, you can easily lose track of your goals.
so do you really think if someone is in gambling, he will achieve his targets in life? i don't think so.

Just like planning way ahead of time so that you won't lose your sense of direction and mistakes are somehow avoidable because you already though about it. And from that point, you should check your situation from time to time to see if things are going exactly as planned but if there are some deviations, then I guess you should also know how to rectify that so that you can go back to your original course. Might be easy to say, I know, but these things are just challenges in life because there is no shortcut to success.

Suddenly I'm seeing a lot of talk about the Suns trading Bradley Beal...  I don't even know if that's an option or something they would want, but I'm hearing names like Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.  I doubt the Suns would be willing to take on Harden as he's a huge risk and has already said he wants to be the number one option on whatever team he lands on, but Mitchell might be a legitimate option if they were trying to flip Beal.  I'd personally rather have Beal as I think he fits in better with other stars, but Mitchell is an elite player when it comes time to show it.

Mitchell would be a nice switch but doubt cavs would do that, and Harden just doesn't make any sense for the Suns.  Why would they already give up on Beal.  Where have ypu seen this chatter?  And last isn't there a set period of time that has to go by before he can be traded again?  If there is bad blood on that team already I'd be surprised.

Yes, that just don't make any sense because the Suns have poured enough resources to acquire Beal and then now they suddenly want to trade him so that they can make some space for Harden and Donovan. If it's Donovan, it would make sense but Harden? I don't think so. That man is already out of his prime, he can do some help but most of the time, he's just a star who is now a liability to any team that he lands on.

Well when they acquire Beal from the Wizards, it make no sense at all because of the huge contract that they have to inherit. But it seems the plan is to used him as leverage for future trade, for sure if there is a superstar that they want to trade, it won't be KD and not likely their franchise player in Booker.

So this is the only reason why the talks and the name of Beal suddenly pop up for a trade with Harden or even Donovan Mitchell. Sometimes it really doesn't make sense at all for teams to trade their superstars, it's a risk that the owners will have to take.

If it's Donovan Mitchell then I think it's worth it because acquiring Bradley Beal really hurt them because of his big contract like you've said, but I don't see any reasons why the Phoenix Suns would want to add James Harden in their roster, Mitchell would suffice. Harden's name might pop up in this rumored trade because of what he said against the Sixers but I don't think that it'll be a criteria for any team right now to acquire him because he's not that the same anymore.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 04, 2023, 09:36:23 AM
People don't have statistics to play gamble and that is why some of the gambling enthusiasm do experience (shege in gambling... meaning much loses in a gambling) so it's good for gamblers to know a specific amount that should go out in their wallet weekly or monthly.

Planned spending gives us positive returns in all areas of our lives. We evaluate our lives only from a financial point of view, but in fact, living our entire lives in a planned way gives us positive returns. I see gambling as a form of entertainment, so if I realize that I am not having fun while gambling, I take a break. Gambling should be play with care. I also agree with this proposition. I think the way to achieve this is to have self-control. Someone who has self-control lives his whole life carefully.

That's exactly how gambling should work towards us and totally not the other way around, the point is not be a slave from it because we can always use gambling as a medium to entertain ourselves and have money whilst having fun. Planning ahead should do the trick in-order to keep track of our spending habits and so that we cannot spend beyond our supposed budget because if not, then I'm afraid that problems will just come towards our way.
725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 03, 2023, 03:03:31 PM
-snip-
A great deal of people have a distorted vision of gambling, they believe it is a glamours activity from which they can obtain a lot of profits, when it is the opposite, those luxurious installations you see at your favorite casinos were paid by those that lost their money there, so the more luxury you see around you the more losers were needed for the casino to create such an environment, and once you see things in this way then it is easy to leave those thoughts behind and gamble just for the fun of it.
There you have it, some people have the wrong mindset about gambling and they are doing something that might hurt themselves financially. But I can't completely blame that mindset when there's an opportunity to make money instead of just having fun. The main problem that gamblers need to avoid is that they should not gamble beyond the limits where at the same time they fail to take responsibility for the consequences.

There are typical gamblers who have fun and there are gamblers who want to make money purely. These two categories of gamblers have different levels of problems, in fact gamblers who want to make money tend to have worse financial problems than gamblers who want to have fun.

It's because gamblers who just wanted to have fun are always in the safe side, they just do it for the sake of entertainment while the losses or winnings are just a mere bonuses to them because that is not what they're after in the first place. While the gamblers that are only in for the money, they are surely in a dangerous situation because there will be a point in their activity where they need to make some tough choices that will determine their day.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 03, 2023, 02:17:50 PM
You're talking like farmers are making a lot money, this is not true because most of farmers are not really rich, they're just middle or low class people.

Farmers always get pressured with agent who're used to buy all of their harvest to sellers who will sell it to customer. What I know the sellers are mostly make a lot money because they're taking more risk that would receive higher profit.

Food prices always increased, currently it's caused by climate change since the weather is really hot and rarely to rain.
I think that the events of recent years have had a negative impact on almost all countries, so it is not even necessary to ask in this forum whether food prices have risen in their countries. Coronavirus, dramatic global climate change, Russia's war in Ukraine, numerous cataclysms around the world lead to a sharp jump in inflation in all countries.

Agriculture due to climate change is now generally at high risk, farmers will suffer losses, so the situation with food will continue to worsen.

Yes, it's not that new anymore because these prices will always grow in almost every year that passes by and we certainly was not born yesterday to be surprised of this matter. In fact, let's brace ourselves already and prepare for what's coming next because what we're experiencing right now is not yet the end, prices will still increase and in every situation, there will be always businessmen who will hoard something to take control of something for their own benefit. I know it's unfortunate but that's the reality we're living in.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 03, 2023, 01:24:30 PM
Thanks, and that's what I'm saying, there is no value on betting for Fury. However, if we go for Francis, high risk high rewards for some of us. Small bet means big profits. But still depend on the gambler though.

Maybe they are going to be smart and just bet a lot of money on Fury, just to win big as well.

But for us, we will have to take some risk, average gamblers.

In my opinion, the best option is not just to take a chance and bet on Ngannou, but also try to guess the round in which he can win - if successful, the multiplier will justify the risk. A bet on Fury doesn't make sense because of the low odds and because Fury is unstable, who knows how much beer (or cocaine haha) he will use knowing that he will have an easy fight ahead of him.

That should be the best move in this fight, we know that Tyson Fury's odds will not give us anything good because we're just an average gambler who mostly want good odds with some few risks that somehow got a decent chance in winning. And if Fury will think that this is just a mere walk in the park to him then it's good because that gives us more chances because we know that Ngannou doesn't play games.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 03, 2023, 06:15:54 AM
I have posted this before. The decision to grant the hosting rights to Qatar for the 2022 world cup was a grave mistake from the part of FIFA. There were issues related to poor treatment being meted out to the construction workers, as well as issues regarding discrimination against certain sections of the visitors. Even in 2018, Russia hosted the tournament without any major issues. But that was not the case with Qatar in 2022. Hopefully the 2026 edition would be an occasion where the visitors and fans are treated with respect.
I hope this is the case as this was the most common complain fans had about the Qatar world cup, however there are things that could easily go wrong, the public security at Mexico is low and fans could face some dangers if going there, and while the US will host most of the games there could be some issues there as well, as visas could be difficult to get if migratory laws get harsher and the possibility of an attack against the stadiums will always be there.
I would guess that Mexico ones will not get all that much visitors, not as many as USA ones to be fair. I think it's obvious that we are going to end up seeing USA to get the most visitors out of all three nations and they are going to do fine. This is of course not guaranteed, but I bet that it's not going to be a big deal and we should be seeing trouble on the long run.

This is of course a trouble when you consider that it's going to end up with a cultural resemblance as well, there are tons of western nations going to world cup, and most of the time it's either Latin American or European teams that wins it, and that means cultures are quite close enough, for clothing, drinking, acting, everything will be pretty similar.

Well, with respect to Qatar, things can be very ambiguous, some say yes, it was a mistake, but why was it Qatar and not another country? Was there a lot of money there for them not to take away the world headquarters from this country? Why did FIFA become a blind eye, of course many say that human rights are biased in these countries, but there are countries that also violate human rights and continue walking without saying anything, the Qatari workers are unfortunate, It is something that should not have happened, but who are we to get into the rules, laws of that country and tell them what is right and what is wrong? I don't think we will have that right, as I have said before, if a country chooses to be the headquarters of the world, that country has its customs, it has its rules, and it is the one that hosts an event, the people and the fans, and players have to stick to the rules of that country, there is nothing to do there, if things are like that, you simply have to respect, there are many things that you like and others that you do not like, but after all, that country is sovereign, It has its own laws and FIFA knew that.

Now the new world cup with these 3 countries , it would be Excellent if they could include some good games from Europe from European countries, because I do not consider that Mexico will have few people, it is a common country and like all, of course there are some customs that are Different , and that are usually seen with the naked eye, but it is a different country, nothing else in its language and everything, but it must be taken into Consideration that Mexico is a very Beautiful country, that it has a lot to know and that it has a lot to do with the things that exist, it has a lot of history, compared to the USA, the USA is a developed country, it is quite obvious that the people there will cause more emotion, it has a lot to entertain themselves, and apart from the Disney parks and all those things, they are quite Striking, obviously you also have to do and grow to know Something,  your security is superior, in Mexico things have to be Better, with more Security.

I think the main reason for FIFA to choose three countries instead of one country is that we are going to have more teams in the tournament and this can put any host under more pressure, however, America had enough potential to host the 2026 World Cup by themselves and even now when we are going to have three countries hosting the world cup, still America will host most of the games and the other two teams are just co-hosting this tournament.

That is the part of the reason why they choose these three countries to host the next world cup, I mean that their move is understandable because they wanted a much bigger arena with guaranteed audience when they present their new format this coming 2026 with more games and teams added. As we all know, having the games in North America means that almost every fellow in this world can watch it and that's their goal.

Other than that, the most obvious reason why FIFA chose America-Canada-Mexico to host the 2026 World Cup is that these three countries bid and won the bid together. It's a business after all and in every business, there's always a motive behind the reason. Just like how the Qatar was rumored to won the bid because they have bought some of the people in the FIFA council to guarantee a spot to host a world cup event.

730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: September 02, 2023, 03:02:43 PM
This is all theory.  Spence looks like he is going to trigger the rematch clause so Crawford has to fight him next per the deal that was struck where the lower can trigger a rematch.  Worse yet if Spence wins then there could be a rubber match after that.  I think it's all just wild speculation and Crawford using his win to spark conversation about him.

For me, the rematch's output will still be the same. Crawford dominated the whole fight except for that first round so it will be just the money they are getting here n the rematch and it will not be close, maybe Spence will last until the 12th round but still losing that fight, many even speculated that he has trouble fighting southpaws.
I doubt that there will be a difference in their rematch if ever these two will find a deal to make the fight happen because we've already saw what Crawford can do and Spence's limits. Also, as Spence stated in the past few weeks, he said that he will suggest that a fight will happen at 154 because the weight at 147 is not for him anymore.

I've read an article that Canelo has changed his tunes and open in fighting Crawford next after his Charlo. This only means that Benavidez and Bivol fights will not happen in the near future.
To be honest, it's quite evident already to me that Canelo is ducking Benavidez and doesn't want to pursue a fight against Bivol too. Bivol's manager already said that Canelo's camp was just making things look that they are interested for a rematch but there wasn't another deal proposed aside from that lowball offer that Bivol's camp rejected.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 01, 2023, 05:07:42 PM

If Haney will go back at 135, he will for sure face Shakur Stevenson because the latter will be named again as the current champion's mandatory challenger. There's nothing he can do to avoid that even if there is a politics in-between that makes the discussion quite impossible but since a big money will be involved, both camps will likely have a deal regardless of who will have the purse advantage.

It's fine to watch these both great fighters finally face off inside the ring because this is the time when they don't need to further expand or prolong their discussion about the money unless they want to fully make it a business just like Crawford and Spence, they fought when they have some tremendous amount of offers because the fans are dreaming to see that fight and I guess these two are also heading that way because they are not missing any opportunity that they currently have right now, especially they are at their primes.
The problem with Haney though is that he is going up in weight already. And there are some video clips around that seems to be his father talking and saying that Shakur is really that good that they might not fight him, and also sparring sessions between the two, it might be a old video though.
And that is why Shakur is really pushing for this fight, Haney has all the belt but he wants to move up to 140 lbs and fight Regis. So it's going to be very interesting, as Haney looks like avoiding Shakur at all cost.

Haney is definitely a good fighter. But I think it is a smart decision for him to actually avoid Shakur. And a man is only going to win when he knows about his strengths as well as his weaknesses. And it is good to see that he knows about his weakness and he is approaching his career following the way that will be best for him. I also do not think that Haney versus Shakur is not going to happen. Haney is definitely trying to avoid Shakur.

But of course that is also the reason why Shakur is pushing for the fight. He knows that he has the psychological advantage over Heney.

I don't know if the article that I've read the other day was true but it was said that Haney's camp was avoiding Shakur Stevenson because they believed that it's a risky match for their boxer, Haney, just like Tank Davis's camp is avoiding Shakur because they also believe the same. It's a mystery for me if what they could achieve in this if they go to a much safer path and fight, specially Tank when he's still at 135 together with Shakur.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 03:35:48 PM
What is the one behaviour you noticed in a gambler and  you dislike it? You don't need to have a reason for disliking it but you just do.

As for me I dislike when gamblers complain of their losses, meanwhile you hear them complain when they are getting winnings.

What about you, what do you dislike ?

Gamblers that blame somebody for their loss, even for just having a little bit of noise that doesn't even bother them will be a reason why they lost because of what you might did. I have a personal experience about this, not me literally, but this guy (who complained) was just lucky because someone came in the middle of them to break the heated conversation as the other guys was not really having his reason.
And also, gamblers that are so hot headed when they are experiencing a consecutive loss. It's somehow funny by the way because they are acting like they own the casino.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA 2023 World Cup Prediction Thread on: September 01, 2023, 02:54:02 PM
With how laughable the Philippines are performing in the game that they themselves are hosting, it’s safe to say that they are outclassed in the game that they pool millions of pesos for, and they are not going to bag any gold medals nor be part of any major international tournaments moving forward. Poor performance, coaching from one of the most senile people on the planet, and just downright lukewarm players that are in there cause of hype and nothing else to back that hype for are just the tip of this disappointment iceberg. I would say I hope things change and their team performs better in future games but I can’t bring myself to believe in them anymore. It’s just so disappointing watching “professional” players play the ball game like they are high school students in tryouts.

Home court advantage turns into a disadvantage for the Philippines. Nevertheless though, I think they haven't had a good record in the FIBA if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps it was due to lack of preparation for this tournament as some of them didn't have the time to gel.

It might be a disappointment for them, but the players have big heart. And after that they still have their own league and others could be playing somewhere else like Kai Sotto who if I'm not mistaken, it going back to Australian league.

The team alone lacks consistency and it's quite evident that they haven't had enough time to prepare what is coming for them hence the record of 0-3 now and that defeat might not be the last because they still have a game against the China. It will be a good game but unfortunately, they might face the same results like the other 3 games they had.
Also, it's worth noting that their head coach made a lot of mistakes as well, lots of calls that should've been challenge and some plays that should've been rectified but he failed.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: September 01, 2023, 02:07:54 PM
I guess it's not sometimes it's usually happen most of the time, in terms of making your decision to quit either you are in the winning
side or losing side, mostly it's being driven by your emotions.

Greed when winning aggressions when you are losing, such kind of things that you needed to control while playing and it's always best to have
that limitation is to make sure that you are still in control, as if you let your emotions to dominate most of the time. It's going to end losing.
We gain massively from the system, it varies with our initial capital and the odds involved. I'm always interested to learn new things about space; we discover new things on a regular schedule. We just have a single objective in the space, and that is to make significant profits from our wagers. Before making any legal proceedings, we must take the time to thoroughly assess exactly what we require before deciding on the next step. Greed eliminates gambling wins; they cannot be replaced, we just have to be extremely careful when dealing with system, it'snot as friendly as it seems, mainly a trap to entrapped most gamblers everyday.

Of course, it's a trap. Gamblers should know that fact beforehand so that they will always come prepared aside from the capital that is involved because gambling isn't that easy to start either. We may think how to win easily but the trouble starts when you're already in the middle of your session and if you don't have any knowledge and techniques on how to outsmart the system, then I guess you're just in for the troubles and not for profits through wagers, unless you're that lucky enough that system won't budge you.

and we will expect that Bucks will try keeping him, his demands will be workout to make sure that they will let Giannis feel that
they are willing to spend to keep him and let him continue to lead and stay as the main alpha of his team.

That is for sure because losing Giannis will definitely be a big loss for the franchise and they cannot get another Giannis-like in the league who can be the face of their team because he's just the only one. There might be some players who somehow work and play to be his replacement but not really Giannis who is almost a complete package that any team can ask for.

Following Japan, another Asian team secured their first victory in the FIBA World Cup.

China outplays Angola to nail 1st FIBA World Cup win

Quote
MANILA, Philippines -- China used a furious second half to pull away from a Jekyll-and-Hyde Angola team as they notched their first win in the FIBA World Cup, 83-76, Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With this, they are the second Asian country to win a game at the basketball meet.

Congratulations to China for defeating Angola. Now, I have doubts about whether the Philippines can truly win against South Sudan tonight, considering that South Sudan defeated China by a significant margin, and yet China managed to beat Angola—a team that had previously defeated the Philippines.
If they stick with their same strategy, Jordan Clarkson having the ball all the time look to score or shot then I doubt that the Philippines can beat a taller South Sudan players.

And then there are the boos from the crowd for Coach Chot Reyes, for sure he and the players are going to be affected negatively when they here the host country, booing their own coach, Lol.

Unfortunately, they didn't make the necessary adjustments. The ball movement didn't improve, and JC remained the primary attacker. When he encountered strong defense, he often resorted to passing or lobbing the ball. This style of play has become easy to predict, and coupled with the Philippines' struggles in outside shooting, their chances were significantly reduced, leading to a 19-point loss.

Analyzing the box score, we can draw comparisons from various statistics:
https://www.fiba.basketball/basketballworldcup/2023/game/3108/South-Sudan-Philippines#tab=boxscore]

Notably, the Philippines managed only 15 assists compared to their opponent's 25. This highlights South Sudan's effective ball movement, which contributed to their advantage.

Gilas ML @2.37 vs South Sudan

Good game Gilas, improve next time.

87-68 Final score, talo ng 19 points.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 31, 2023, 11:55:41 AM
Another remarkable aspect of Casimero is his consistent taunting of Inoue, which has led people to believe in his genuine confidence in defeating an exceptionally skilled fighter. He has effectively generated interest in the fight, and now, we're eager to witness it unfold. While Inoue currently holds the championship title, there's no doubt that Casimero will present a tough challenge. His approach is distinct from the kind of competition Inoue has faced in his previous bouts.

That's why it's of utmost importance for the fight with Tapales to take place this year, as it could pave the way for another significant Inoue fight next year.

This won't stop until he gets a chance to fight Inoue. He's set his sights on Inoue as he seeks a fast track to success, but Casimero's luck in this regard seems a bit uncertain, as he hasn't been able to cross paths with Inoue just yet. This is his opportunity, as they now compete in the same division—Casimero as a challenger and Inoue as the champion.

It wouldn't be unreasonable if Inoue were to put an end to the speculations surrounding their matchup by facing Casimero. It could silence Casimero in one effective way: a knockout victory. However, it's perplexing why Inoue doesn't seem interested. This lack of enthusiasm on Inoue's part raises questions and can't help but lead people to consider whether Inoue is avoiding a clash with Casimero out of fear.

I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?

Gone are the days when bounties were highly profitable. While some aspects of what you've seen may hold true, the reality is not as straightforward. I'm not asserting that there's no longer money to be made through bounties, but the chances of making money have diminished significantly. Nowadays, most of the projects being promoted operate with limited budgets and there's a considerable risk of them turning out to be scams that target investors. Engaging in such opportunities might lead to a waste of your time.

There are numerous reasons why Bitcoin might experience a price increase, as you've pointed out in the original post. However, due to the inherent unpredictability of the market, there's no certainty that the price won't decline during such lows. I've observed several instances in the past where despite positive news, Bitcoin's value still decreased. One of the primary reasons for this phenomenon is likely price manipulation, which could still be ongoing.

From a personal perspective, I'm prepared for the possibility of a price drop and won't succumb to panic. My optimism stems from the belief that the mentioned factors are sufficient grounds for Bitcoin's eventual recovery, leading to a price increase that might even reach a new all-time high following a halving event.
