Is there an assetchain for NXTventures also? No, because SuperNET won't be building on top of Nxt anymore. However the NXTventure holds big stakes our other projects. We will probably distribute it's asset holdings to the shareholders and liquidate the asset. So it does have some value, but no future plans. |

KV coin is an example of how I see the komodo ecosystem developing. As coins such as KV get established and succeed, KMD will gain value as the underlying coin.
Somehow I have the feeling that the underlying coins can suffer from ICOs. For example NXT had a steady decline, since it was massively used as ICO relay. I also can somehow understand why. People, that had a lot of NXT, became rich. Some cached out already, but the people, who still held were investing a high percentage of their NXT in assets. But those asset distributors were of course caching out a lot, because they need the money... so it can only lead to decline... Yes, but unlike Nxt we don't have colored coins. We have coins with independent blockchains. You don't need KMD to buy those coins, you can buy them with BTC. Thus the project gets BTC as its capital instead of KMD, and it won't create a constant sell pressure for KMD - like it did for NXT. |

Iguana Multiwallet Update #200.2 released
We double checked if we had closed all the issues related t the release code and finally I published it. Anyone can find a detailed description of Iguana 0.2 release notes. 0.3 started
Another version tasks are in production. We have already done the first EasyDEX integration steps. The backlog may be extended with a couple of some technical tasks discovered during development, but at the moment it is foreseen to be done within two weeks. I'm breaking tasks into small pieces to cover more tasks within a shorter period and to release as often as possible. We have failed to release often before, and now we are trying to find the right pace and stick to that. SecurityIguana applications are about using, sending, holding and trading valuables. Thus fund safety and easy access for a user at the same time must be treated as the most important tasks in technical and user-experience spectrums. Accordingly to my shallow analysis and overall usage of some crypto services, most of them do not take this aspect as serious as they must which causes user's bad experience, loss of reputation, additional cost for support and issues solving. That's why I'm going to study possible risks deeper and allocate related tasks for the further releases.
TestingAs I wrote earlier, we have already applied unit tests and agreed to perform them on a weekly basis for new and old features. Now the guys are busy with automated tests and Nightwatch for UAT (user acceptance tests). Marketing & ManagementNew SuperNET site is in development, where you can find an exclusive presentation about Iguana and all stable applications very soon. The roadmap will be published there too. And I think these updates will be posted on the site as well. I see here and there, the community is discussing new features for Iguana platform, but we are still in the very begging of a big way and to come to our goals fast, we need a better strategic vision and more forces. We, gladly, reviewed and agreed on the product strategy regarding Iguana, Komodo and other SuperNET's technologies. Soon the team will welcome new members too. Stay tuned. |

I don't see my KMD nor my BTCD address on there, yet I have deposited BTCD on the second day of the swap to the ICO platform. Am I supposed to see it on there?
If you go to the 'Swap' tab you should see how much BTCD you swapped, see "My BTCD Invested total:" below that is "Total KMD through swap", which tells you how much KMD you receive in the swap The actual BTCD address should be visible there. Initially there were some server performance problems which made the address appear much later. It should be fine now though. After our products start to come online, our new websites are up, and we do some more marketing good things could happen. Our whole team believes we have a very powerful platform, and our product is great. So in other words, we all believe in the long term future, but no one can predict short therm horizon. Our backend is about ready, but the GUIs are not, so it will take some more time to really showcase the power of our platform. The two products we have now coming are EasyDEX Komodo wallet and the Iguana multiwallet. After the EasyDEX Komodo wallet grewalsatinder will start focusing on the actual DEX part. Iguana multiwallet is still in beta, waiting for a public beta to begin. So most likely it will still take some time to really find all the bugs and streamline those GUIs. Both teams are making constant updates though, so follow those to get a deeper understanding. |

I am planning on doing an install of ubuntu or mint. Which version numbers are the better of the two for iguana and komodo?
Our dev thinks Ubuntu might be slightly better, but basically any linux should be fine. |

Kudos to the whole Komodo team for the awesome level of communication during and after the ICO. That makes it really very easy to wait for the launch. I also liked the blogposts that introduced me to the tech and infrastructure and so on.
I invested with BTCD that I bought mostly during the dip and before, so I had quite some time to let the project convince me to actually swap the BTCD and not just sell them when the price goes up.
The communication/information, and the combination of dPoW and ZK-Snarks, makes me quite confident that Komodo can catch on and I'm really looking forward to the launch!

Is there a voting tracker for notary candidates somewhere? It would be nice if we could see where the node voting tallies stand. No, the results will stay hidden until the elections are over. Showing them in real time might cause some problems, such as delaying your vote to the last minute. We will publish everything after the elections, and the results can be verified. |

After we are finished with the basic SuperNET website we will do Komodoplatform.com Komodoplatform.com will become a nice static landing page for Komodo, and supernet.org will be a central hub of everything we are doing. We will start publishing regular content there, and rise in the google ranks! Doing all this takes time though. Regarding marketing, we are also researching potential blockchain conferences where we could go in 2017. Where would you like to see Komodo? We are open to suggestions, so let us know. |

We have a limited number of notary node spots, and they are responsible about notarizing Komodo hashes into Bitcoin blockchain. It is important that we elect them, don't you think? Other option would be that our team artificially selects them, but I think many would say it is not a good idea, and thus we are having these elections.
For people who swapped BTCD on the ICO site, we will need to wait until you lock your KMD address before REVS can be sent. The REVS address will be the same as the KMD address. Same address, but different blockchains.

As an official spokesman I would personally really appreciate you not saying "or something". Considering more then 50% of BTCD's is still out there, clean instruction in the OP on how to get private key would be very helpful. You are right, I'm sorry. I checked the situation and the command is: dumpprivkey "public address" Put that into the BTCD console and it will give you the privatekey. I have seen the hype behind this election thing. Will I get anything in return for voting or what incentive is there for voters?

You must export the privatekey your BTCDs were in. I believe the command is 'dumpprivkey' or something similar. Join our Slack and ask in #BTCD channel, there is always someone who is able to help you. We don't have childchains/sidechains, we have independent blockchains that are able to speak to each other, and with that tech we can do things like atomic swaps. REVS blockchain is already created, there's just no GUI to manage your REVS yet. EDIT: Is there a link to track the notary node voting? Seems this would be super helpful

Yes they do a great job and are very enthusiastic. But isn't that a little risky, if a big amount of notary nodes is in the hand of only 2 people? Maybe I am overanxious because I don't know all the facts and numbers... How much power do they have after election? Official rules, 4 nodes max per candidate. We backup each other, but both of us are independent. Together we are able to work more efficient (just one example: our common campaign has additional value for the whole project) in the interest of Komodo. In case one of us (or both of course) are unreliable or some other bad things happen the other operators are able to "kick" us out. The role of the notary node is not fully understood. We had some lengthy discussions about this in our Slack. We are looking to fix this situation in the near future. Basically 51+% notary node collusion is not the same as 51% mining attack. If all notary nodes all of the sudden want to destroy Komodo, the best they can do is stop notarizing into Bitcoin blockchain. They cannot create invalid transactions or double spends. We will explain this in more length in an article. |
