I'm having trouble setting up 2FA on the ICO site. Using chrome on windows 10 and google authenticator on my android tablet. I scan the barcode, the app registers KomodoPlatformICO, but every time I enter the code I get 'wrong token' ... any ideas?

edit: is the 2FA setup on my komodo ICO account, or my email?

Make sure the time on your phone is correct.

I synced time, but still getting 'wrong token' ... maybe it doesn't work on my samsung tablet,

It would be best to try it on a PC or laptop. I had issues accessing the ICO through my android. In any case, I just checked my ICO account and everything seems right. Even though I had an issue with 2FA, I realized it was my fault not the website.

How much power do they have after election?

Official rules, 4 nodes max per candidate. We backup each other, but both of us are independent. Together we are able to work more efficient (just one example: our common campaign has additional value for the whole project) in the interest of Komodo. In case one of us (or both of course) are unreliable or some other bad things happen the other operators are able to "kick" us out.

EDIT: The electorates need to vote for rnr OR kolo! In the elections we are two separate node operators. And there´s no way to vote for both of us in the same region in the same time/with the same ICO account.

The role of the notary node is not fully understood. We had some lengthy discussions about this in our Slack. We are looking to fix this situation in the near future.

Basically 51+% notary node collusion is not the same as 51% mining attack. If all notary nodes all of the sudden want to destroy Komodo, the best they can do is stop notarizing into Bitcoin blockchain. They cannot create invalid transactions or double spends.

We will explain this in more length in an article.

The notary nodes get to do most of the mining for new coins....there will be a fraction for everyone else to mine. Just gotta read the fine print
