721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 06:08:52 AM
What kind of behavior is that? Complaining because they are getting winnings? Or are you saying that they are just being arrogant and complain all the time about the situation that they have? That's pretty weird complaining.

Can you give me a certain situation that that happened? I think if it's up to me, I would dislike it because of the arrogance thing.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your altcoins for bull session (Between Rank 30-200) on: August 31, 2023, 01:52:33 PM
I'm thinking about the top ten because I'm not sure if I could select between the Rank 30 and 200.

The category that I'm going to select probably is the project that has been existing for a long time. If I'm going to select from what Husires posted, I'm going to select EOS, Zcash, and DASH.
723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is NFP in Forex? on: August 30, 2023, 10:40:11 PM
This is just something that I read just now. I had no idea what NFP was until this. I didn't know that it had that significant impact on the market. It's probably because of the people receiving money as well.

Is there any similar thing within the cryptospace?
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young people should take more advantage of the crypto space. on: August 30, 2023, 01:20:23 PM
It shouldn't be just young people who should take advantage of the cryptocurrency space. For sure people who are older can be part of it as much as possible and still take advantage the same as the young person would.

The difference here would be how they will think. Probably young people could have a different approach to a certain factor in the crypto space and think of a revolutionary way how they will act with a certain task of function of the specific coin that they are into.

Make sure that you understand and have a reason "why" you are doing a thing in the first place.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: August 30, 2023, 09:25:18 AM
With everything that is happening and with the pandemic effect since 2019, I think it's really up to the point where a price increase is inevitable. The effects experienced from it are devastating knowing that a lot of people need care and of course, food. That's a necessity that we all need.

It has affected everyone and in my country, it's the same. I don't have the values right now but it is affected because of the memes going around with the shortage of food supply or whatnot.

What are the efforts by your government there OP?
726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitskins upgraded their platform and I lost over 22000 affiliates on: August 30, 2023, 09:03:05 AM
It's sad to see that much of a decrease in the amount that you should be having and currently having, I think anyone would be frustrated with this. Sadly, you cannot do something about it when their decision is final.

Since you replied that you tried contacting them but to no avail, I hope that you find the time to rebuild those affiliates and maybe even suggest to them some scheme to rebuild the broken affiliates. Maybe if the current accounts have a way to know that it came from the referral of your site and not just a random registrant, it can be fixed or something.
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet - account closure request not satisfacted on: August 29, 2023, 03:31:32 PM
Great step on admitting that you have a gambling addiction problem and that you need to have your account be blocked so that you have that control on the urge. I hope you block other sites as well because it's going to be easy to create a new account and bet again.

As for your case, you might need to wait for the casino to refund it to you. I think they are holding the funds there so you can prevent to gamble it somewhere else. They probably did this because of the part where you claim it is "self-exclusion".

I think you need to continue on contacting the casino for the refund.
728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Challenging the lows, 25.5k and lower possible break here on: August 29, 2023, 03:08:33 PM
Once it goes to the lower bound range, it's going to be a continuous selling pressure. With this in mind, I think it's best to set a certain price that you would buy. Maybe accumulate it with continuous buying for specific step ranges.

There is upcoming pressure that would go to the market, so it's best to be ready. The possible selling would be in October so, why not take advantage of it now? If you think a lot of people would sell.
729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just Learnt About A Major Risk Involved In Stable Coins on: August 29, 2023, 02:03:01 PM
I think the best way to more contribute to the forum is to post the topics that you have gotten it from. The resources have helped you understand those risks that you might encounter since you are thankful for the forum right?

The best way is that you continue to learn.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Piooner, Hal Finney and Eight Years Remembrance on: August 29, 2023, 10:29:44 AM
I know I have stumbled upon the post of Hal Finney before and re-reading it made me feel so empathetic with what he had gone through. He is in a better place now and it is indeed that he is a legend and has a great legacy.

I hope that everyone gets motivated with the technological curiosity that he has towards Bitcoin etc.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: August 28, 2023, 11:55:36 PM
I think it's not just about the money, there's going to be background checks for it as well. Imagine just paying the 50BTC listing fee (IIRC that's the amount for Binance? Correct me if I'm wrong), that's a significant amount now and you need to really check if you have the budget for that. That''s going to be troublesome if you just paid it and you have no benefit completely.

It's not just poor development that get delisted, but probably low volume on that specific exchange.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to invest in bitcoin on: August 28, 2023, 03:08:09 PM
There's no perfect time in general but maybe an ideal time for you personally. Like when you have extra money that you can invest towards assets like Bitcoin. You can definitely make it worthwhile for you if you have done some continuous investing in your assets. That's going to be effective if you do it continuously.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: August 27, 2023, 04:45:15 AM
I believe that you have just bought some altcoins that you don't have any idea about and you managed to buy lots of them and then it happened to be worthless. A lot of things are like that but you have to make sure that you are buying the right things.

Identifying it could turn out to be in a couple of ways like
  • Checking the website for minor detail issues
  • Check the holders of the coin
  • Discussion here on Bitcointalk (if there's any already)

The list could go on but you can make sure that you are buying the right stuff if you have managed to do a background check on it. It's going to be better and the CMC stats are a good measure as well.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you like to see on betting platforms? on: August 25, 2023, 03:10:39 PM
Leaderboard events would be great to have knowing that it could be a motivation to gamble more. It can have competitive effects on the entire site. I think that would be great. Additionally, you can add some trading capabilities when converting assets. It could have added opportunities for members as well.
735  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 25, 2023, 07:19:58 AM
~snip
Indeed, collecting bitcoins from the faucet would really be a waste of our time these days. Things are not what they were in years past and we need to accept that fact. @crwth, if you think bitcoin income through faucet still works. I really want to know, are you still doing that? Or did you yourself stop looking for bitcoin that way? No one denies that faucets used to bring us a lot of bitcoin, but today that is outdated and no longer relevant.
I'm not sure how it came up on how I think it still works, I just said that the people back then who don't believe in faucets have probably believed now because of how high the BTC value is now compared to back then. Anyway, to answer your question, I don't do that anymore. I don't see Bitcoin that way anymore. It was just a few months when I first discovered Bitcoin and I have read here that it is a waste of time but looking at it now, you could have made significant money if you just continued to do it.
736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Scam. Cannot Withdraw $30,211. Being Ignored by Support. on: August 25, 2023, 07:11:34 AM
Hey there.
If they have proof then they should show it. Just saying they have it is the same as him saying he doesn't have multiple accounts. And a fact is, they let him deposit. If there were multiple accounts he should even be able to register.
I don't know what would happen. As long as they have accusations, there should be a proof. Maybe sending it would DOX the player? I don't really know.

Thanks for this reference. The topics are interesting and it seems that the mods on Stake want to save face or just doesn't know what is happening with the community. Receiving unsolicited emails and mentioned on the topic there coming from Rollbit, makes it questionable. How'd they get the data of the big players and sending emails for bonuses etc.

Let's see what they would say about this.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 25, 2023, 01:22:25 AM
Being one of the first doesn't translate to already being mainstream. Personally, it's quite hard to use Monero with all the necessary steps that you need to take for it to be a really private transaction. A lot of people probably doesn't need the hassle to transact like that and there are some coins that may be better, depending on who you are talking to, but that's the reality.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 24, 2023, 11:15:56 PM
I believe it depends on the game that you are trying to bet on. Let's say you are betting on an NBA game and the star player couldn't play that game, that would affect their chances because only he might be the one who is going to make the scores and he being injured or not being able to play the game just decrease the chances of his team of winning.

They are star players for a reason they could carry their whole team. I think it's easy to say that they have an influence on how the game would turn out hence affecting the odds.
739  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Take on iGaming Promotion Through Social Media on: August 24, 2023, 12:47:09 PM
I think any company that wants customers ideally would be taking advantage of social media. Everything is on there no matter what industry you are in, it is an effective medium and that's going to take people and possibly make known what you have to offer.

Good luck on your journey!
740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Scam. Cannot Withdraw $30,211. Being Ignored by Support. on: August 24, 2023, 08:50:13 AM
~
Nonsense.
So then, IF you are right, and he lists those accounts, then what? Then you would pay him, yeah right.  Cheesy
If he says there are any, you would say "violated our terms" and still don't pay, 100%.
Based on the message by the Rollbit representative, it seems that they have proof on him having access to multiple accounts and that's probably from the time he uses the different accounts. That's going to be proof that someone violated the terms.

Rollbit has a solid reputation now for doing this, not only in our forum there are reports about these tactics.
Can you pinpoint the references that you have with the "solid" reputation for "this"? Do you mean not paying players?

Still a reminder, rollbit bought the stolen data from the stake.com hack last year to promote their own site, this has been mentioned and proved before. A site doing shady things like this also comes up with excuses to not pay honest customers.
I must have missed this. Can you point me in the right direction with this as well? Curious about their doings.
