Oh dear...

Actually, what I said in my PM was that you appeared to be farming personal details wanting verified identity documents not that the PayPal was a verified account as you are suggesting.

And my concern above was that your UID / account may have been hacked which seems to have alluded you.

I'm not sure if you missed it, but

Quote
You seemed pretty OK with it when you wanted to purchase BTC from me, WITH paypal.  Maybe now you can understand the risks I was considering to take?

Right, and since I didn't want you to feel that way, I canceled the trade.  Reasonable, no? Roll Eyes

Well, no again.  I provided my postal address so that you could send a post card with your postal address so that I could in turn send you my identity paper work that you requested in PM's verified by Justices of the Peace as being true copies of my identity, but it was at that point that you fell silent and didn't respond any further - ie when I asked for your contact details via a post card from you to my postal address.

Given that my contact with you was well over 12 months ago now and you fell silent - and I said no more since then - either to you, or about you - this is a strange outburst: http://archive.is/ivDW4#selection-5697.0-5758.0 it's the kind of lashing outburst that TomatoCage / QuickSeller would spew out.

Mystifying and unwarranted.

Had you instead thanked me for showing concern that your account *may*have* been hacked, I would have pointed out the link in the first line of my signature and come to some arrangement to show there is no hard feelings, but... alas, your outburst tells me all I need to know.
7266  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: November 15, 2016, 05:09:21 AM
It slipped my mind till just now, if possible, we need to identify the farmers behind some of these high intensity farms.

Case in point:

Operatr: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=92499

Claims to have purchased "relinquished" a multitude of UIDs that had previously been caught red-handed scamming - well after they had received Red Paint TM A while later, I noticed that the UIDs in question still had their negative trust dished out to others.  The trust is right up to the date Operatr has put the message below, while some have been used *after* their message to pain the wall red ie - trust abuse.   When I contacted Operatr I got a terse "They will stay as is" type of response followed by Neutral trust on my wall.

Operatr left this on numerous UIDs:

Quote
This SCAMMERS account has been relinquished to @Operatr, see details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325685.0 and here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325685.msg13746700#msg13746700
this account should NOT be posting ANYTHING after today.

Scammer followed instructions, answered the survey and relinquished the account. Can only HOPE they do not return to do any further damage. My goal is to keep these scammers in NEWBIE'ville as long as possible.

I left this on a number of the UIDs

Quote
This UID has been bought and sold a number of times, you should do due diligence if considering trading as it may not be with the same person you previously did business with.

Operatr has now added Red Pain TM to my trust wall (oh woe is me!) and a quick recap of their various Alts shows PHS u=764988 and leancuisine u=143455 giving each other Positive trust (again, trust abuse).

ok, as  jamalaezaz has not bothered to come to the farmer thread to enquire about farmed accounts i shall post here.
hope you dopn't mind this once!

@rizzlarolla same with you - this needs to be taken to the "Investigations" thread... please.

I am not getting what you are trying to say. do you mean you and all these Russian (which I think all are your alts) don't even know that much english and can't even write a small sentence by them selves? and a translator gave them a sentence to copy and send to me?

OK @jamalaezaz - click here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1673925.msg16847474#msg16847474

Three days ago, targetmlrd posted how to contact you with an English translation of how to sign up via Twitter.

This is the archived version http://archive.is/S3aGG#selection-5543.0-5545.71 of the above.

You will note it hasn't been modified. (and looks to be what the screen shot posted above was)

Even though I don't read Russian, and I haven't run the post through a translator, I would say it very likely that the post was intended to facilitate joining your Twitter campaign, but where it has fallen down is via the Farmed Accounts (bought or not - it really doesn't matter) trying to be added to the campaign.

This should have been posted in "Investigations" BTW.

7270  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTB) ~5 BTC on: November 13, 2016, 04:36:16 PM
There is no alt, trust me Wink I have only one account since I joined bitcointalk.
The English is not my native language, so I can make a few small mistakes, but the main ideea is what it matters.

True - what's piqued my interest is they already have a (self moderated) thread they could have bumped:

Monbux's Quick and Painless BTC EXCHANGE! (Paypal, Gift Cards, Interac e-transf) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1056929.0

their last post from four weeks ago:

I'm denying both of you and you should know why if you read the original post.  Thanks.
I'm only trading with reputable members when it comes to selling BTC for their paypal.  Too much risk on my side otherwise.

...and they've been online in the last twelve hours:

Code:
Name: monbux

Last Active: 13 November 2016, 15:21:48

Plus they've been on a Hiatus, and there's been a few UIDs that have been hacked recently. (and the master-P thing too...)

Stay Safe People.
7271  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: November 13, 2016, 03:56:51 PM
Hi Timelord and Lauda!

is only Address connection a Proof? you guys don't consider anything else as proof?

I am not linking them just because their UID are close and they looks farmed. Their UID was next Thing for me. first thing which got my attention is something else...

I asked all twitter and facebook participants to send me a PM to verify their accounts and here you go:

(snip)

I got shocked when I receive same Message from 50 Users.
It is not hard to understand the same guy copy pasted the same message with all of his alts.Any sensible will never say these are just a coincidence . he only replace twitter, facebook accounts..

I tried to Ignored them and Assume that matching of their messages is a coincidence but I can't...

as I said above the UIDs was not the first thing for me.. after seeing these messages, than I go through everyon'e profile and I found:

1: Most of the accounts are farmed.. their UIDs are totally close.. some of them are hero, Sr and full members though.

2: all of them are russian Board Spammers and Shit posters...

3: all of their facebook and twitter accounts are farmed and only used for earning from campaigns and bounty.. I didn't see even a single Photo or any Text as a status update from them. none of them are personal accounts.

I don't think there is any other proof and evidence needed..

(Note: Don't quote my post. it is already irritating enough)

Thanks for the message - many times I've used Twitter and Facebook to link users, however, I've always matched two UIDs to the same Twitter/Facebook such as here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317458.msg16789014#msg16789014

Having said that, I've been looking recently at more abstract ways to link users such as here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.msg16845011#msg16845011

here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1616969.msg16823742#msg16823742

or even here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597201.msg16752897#msg16752897

Having said that, I wonder if there is a way to explain such turn of phrase away such as Google Translate - ie I say

Quote
Hi can you add me please?

Hi can you add me thanks?

gives us:

Quote
Привет вы можете добавить меня пожалуйста

Привет Вы можете добавить мне спасибо

but when I put those phrases back into Google, I get:

Quote
Hello, you can add me please

Hello, you can add me thanks

Which isn't what I wrote.

So, you've asked these users to be confirmed by providing their Twitter/Facebook names, so I'm guessing they've written - in Russian..

Quote
Hi/Hello here's my twitter name BLAH confirm me

and Google has added a comma and translated.

I don't doubt you've found they are all connected as farmed accounts, but the translation is where things can get lost in translation.
7272  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 10K Bitcoin on: November 13, 2016, 09:30:53 AM
As the title says, buying 10K USD bitcoin (or BTC-E) which is on regular basis. I need to know your payment solution and rate upon this. As im a re-seller, i need lowest rates to make income from these trades which is the nature of win-win corporations.

Sure only escrow.

I wonder if there are users with balls on this website but im sure there are.

So how come you never started a scam accusation in the so named section for this the other day:

http://archive.is/SdcrG

These two users Exparos and Betterlife still didn`t pay my BTC so i am warning everyone to stay away from these two users

EXPAROS IS SCAMMER
BETTERLIFE IS SCAMMER

Preferably trade on Paxful.com (escrow)
I have 150+ positive feedback there, 0 neutral, 0 negative .... with a good amount of repeat paypal feedbacks from sellers.
i'm looking for approximately $110 usd worth of coins

I'm offering $1.10 USD for 1.00 BTC or whoever can give a better rate.
My paypal is 10+ years old, fully verified

Let me know. this is my first thread i'm making here, so unfortunately, I am still newbie status.
Also open to trading smaller amounts.

And your user name over there is what exactly?
7274  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: November 13, 2016, 09:17:53 AM
How does this sound?

Quote
Originally a farmed account. Farmed means one user creates a lot of accounts and spams the forum to level up.  As such, this account (UID) *may*have* been bought and sold a number of times.  You should do due diligence if considering trading as it may not be with the same person you previously did business with.

(Optionally)This trust is permanent and will not be removed.

Additionally, if there's no scam accusation, trust is Neutral.  If there is a scam accusation, or the account is already in the red, then the above trust gets Red Paint TM coating.
Sounds good to me, and I've added a line to explain why a farmed account is a bad account in the first place.

I suppose that can be added, now where do we start?  Who gets a liberal dose of paint?
7275  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Help ! Need to buy Bitcoin by 1 Million USD - CASH on: November 13, 2016, 09:11:56 AM
Are they ₹ 500 and ₹ 1,000 notes?  What proof do you have that you can fund these multi-million dollar transactions?

(Even I'd be prepared to be your Escrow...)  Roll Eyes
7276  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTB) ~5 BTC on: November 13, 2016, 09:08:51 AM
The escrow is useless when we talk about Paypal exchange deals.
As you know a Paypal chargeback can be opened up to 180 days (6 months) from the date of transaction.
I dont say that monbux will do it, I just said the escrow could be useless in these cases (unless the escrow holds the funds for 6 months).

For a moment there I wondered if you had forgotten what alt you were posting from, but then the text can be read a couple of ways, so perhaps not.

Looking to buy around 5 BTC, using paypal or interac e-transfer.
Please PM me with your best price, not looking to pay any premiums.

I doubt you will be able to find anyone to escrow this transaction (unless you are wanting to escrow this yourself?)

In either case, food for thought:

Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0
And you think someone with monbux's reputation is going to make a dispute on PayPal? I do not think so

Hmm... perhaps you are right - you go first...

In any event, tell that to those who were scammed by master-p -9999: -16 / +9 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=89329 I'm sure they weren't expecting to be scammed by a green trust member either.

Besides, it can't hurt to remind users here that PayPal is a reversible method of payment from time to time, wouldn't you agree?
7280  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy BTC with Paypal and need suggestions on: November 13, 2016, 12:19:15 AM
its not about you can afford it or not its about you want to build trust am i right ??

Interesting... I will wait to see if 50% fee is the cost that I must to pay to build trust here.

Users here will give you Red Paint TM free of charge if they perceive that you are attempting to buy trust - are you?
