well, new year and fresh starts are only a mentality thing and not what happens. we are on the same path as we were before (it is a good path) and besides in many countries it is still the same year since many celebrate different days for new year. If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think? I think if you had bought btc when it's value was down, and now you start selling them, that would say instant way for the moment ! In every other situation every kind of money comes with our hardwork and the strategies we build to make to get ourselves in some profits !

bitcoin there are already nearly 10 years and its impact in the field of economics was not significant, I do not agree if it says bitcoin is new era of currency.
When we say the new era of currency that means we will be surpassing the popularity of the currency that are regulated by the government, and IMO this will not happen since the power of the government is very strong as they make and regulate laws. Bitcoin is still the best currency but only considered as crypto currency only, which is a tool to transact online with ease but not possible without people who spend their fiat to convert with bitcoin. Bitcoin should be considered the new of currency with a few simple facts. No other currency has achieved so much and increased its value by a huge market except for bitcoin. In over a mere 8 years, the value of bitcoin has increased from a few cents in 2008 to twenty-six hundred dollars in 2017. Crypto-currency especially bitcoin has also taken the online market including the global market like a wildfire. It has already surpassed many other currencies and is still rapidly increasing its value. Bitcoin is already considered as a currency and the other countries only should do is to accept bitcoin and apply its system in their country because bitcoin is keep on growing and accepting bitcoin and applying it on their current system will help them in a lot of ways and also in overall economic growth because bitcoin is a good cryptocurrency and also an investment. |

Sending bitcoin without miners fee is very risky in my opinion. You get risk of your coins being stuck, thus its a very big hassle on your part. You'll need services like viabtc to accelerate it again.
Don't do it. I made that mistake and I had to basically double-spend and hope the higher fee version got picked up. Stressful. I usually pay more than the recommended amount to make sure it goes. I've tried it with a small amount so I do not lose money and in a few days the transaction will not get a confirmation. Then the transaction fails and the bitcoin goes back into my wallet. So that's what happens when you use 0 fee transaction I also get the same result like you, i only have a fixed bitcoin amount and i choose to just input 0 fee in my transaction but after a few weeks it goes back to my wallet which i am really happy because i thought that it will just get stuck in the network forever. If you want to be fair to other people like miners, you should pay the recommended fee to avoid complications. |

If you will just look at the price right now and the price in the past then you will say and think that it is too late to buy bitcoins because the price is already on the top and there might be a huge risk if you will buy now. That is a wrong mindset because you are like focusing on small gains and also for short term, why not to look at bitcoin after a few years and if history will repeat itself then you can easily get rich.
