7301  Economy / Speculation / Re: GAME game *game* "GAME" QUARTER PREDICTIONS on: January 15, 2019, 04:14:07 PM
Nice time to wake up from my long forum break, disappointment and frustration from last year,,, now all fresh and ready to face the new year, and a nice game, thank you OP, in advance. I see people are mainly predicting upwards, I will choose a nice number of $4567. It is a gap between the guesses, and looks good for a medium term prediction anyway,,, good luck for all, whatever the price shows up.

7302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MobileBridge Momentum - Revolutionising Marketing & Loyalty. Sale 26.04 on: January 14, 2019, 01:44:34 PM
Hey guys. Now that it has been two weeks since the end of the bounty, when can we remove our signatures? I am still keen on supporting the project, as are most of us I hope,,, but we would like some clarification on when we can remove our signatures. Last week it was said it would take a week, that was yesterday,,, be nice to get some answers without us always having to ask.

And let us hope to hear more from Kees. It has been a new year for 14 days now;)
7303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 22, 2018, 09:34:35 AM
I got the nice perfect score at 2-0, did not watch the match but from the reports, Mo Salah is now top scorer and even got healthy assists. I am a Spurs supporter but I do not see them winning the league this year. I hope at least they can win the League Cup since they are in semifinals, at least it must not be an empty season. Champions League is of course still a target but we do not have enough quality. Just worried our manager will be tempted to join United.

Anyway, I am off today for a long holiday, so I put in all my picks till January, see you guys next year! Maybe I come back and see a nice bonus of getting top score;)

7304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue? on: December 21, 2018, 12:14:53 PM
Sometimes I have the same thoughts as you, the influence of the central bank on countries in the world can immediately stop the development of bitcoin, because many governments are subject to the rules made by central banks, but they do not do so. If we see the USA is a superpower with its dollar currency, but in reality USA has a lot of debt, then the question is "who is more powerful than the superpower"

If this is what you think then you have really lost the whole point in understanding Bitcoin as a decentralized currency. The US has tried many times, so has China a few times, and lately even other countries like Iran have tried to ban Bitcoin. Central banks have no power, sanctions of Bitcoin addresses do not prevent anything,,, banning the trade on exchanges? Now people understand P2P trading and can buy and sell as they wish.

Bitcoin's power is that it has no power, but the power belongs to the network. The people and the users who choose to use it of their own free will.

7306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying any type of crypto from you! on: December 20, 2018, 08:12:32 AM
Guys, be careful with this person. He has a red trust, so he can cheat. But in general, why look for sellers if you can easily buy tokens on the exchange?

Because, there are people in this forum who are willing to buy tokens that are NOT yet listed on exchanges. I have quite a number of those on my ETH wallet actually,,, and none of them are on exchanges. Some are from ICO projects over a year old, others are random airdrops I do not even remember signing up for.

These guys do not mind buying those tokens so when they list, they can make profit.
7307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Fully Built & Tested Coin Rights For Sale (Listed On Crex24, BiteBTC Already) on: December 20, 2018, 06:51:21 AM
Why not just keep the project and grow it as such? I feel like it is a waste of effort you said you worked so hard for it,,, it seems a pity to just let it go if you are really passionate about this coin. Besides, most people will not buy a coin and take over it. They would rather spend that money to develop it from zero. No offense, but nobody really knows what they will get when they buy a complete coin and no history of user or development to understand. Too risky.
7308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CHINA HOLDS THE CARDS AS ONLINE BETTING BOOMS IN THE PHILIPPINES on: December 19, 2018, 09:21:35 AM
We had quite a few cases of guys burning casinos in Philippines too in recent years so it does seem to show that people there are highly addicted and that casinos are not doing much to stop them. Duterte maybe can add casino gangsters to his hit squad list!

I have a few friends also who spent time on casinos working in small jobs either as cashiers or just waitress. The pay is not so good but the tips are apparently,,, the best in the waitress industry. Make good friends with big rollers and they tip big when they win.
7309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't many cryptocurrencies use a .com extension? on: December 19, 2018, 06:43:26 AM
Im not sure of the main reason why mostly are using .io and other unfamiliar extensions but my guess is probably these are very cheap ones.

And looking for the potential. com extension with their chosen domain is probably taken by others and dont want to sell it to others. Theres a big market for domain flippening as well so thats my guess.

Thanks for sharing the medium article, I never thought about it that way actually, especially because a few of the ICOs I invested in as well as the projects I followed still use either .com or .org. For some reason,,, I always associate .io with projects that were not being serious or even being scams. HYIPs all loved to use .io and yes you are right jossiel. They are cheap! .coms are always expensive and somehow you feel people are not serious when they do not want to spend money.
7310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best cloud based mining projects available ? on: December 19, 2018, 06:07:33 AM
Here is something you must do. Google cloud mining scam. Google cloud mining profitable or not. And then,,, look in this forum and search the same keywords.

You will find majority of users complained about not being profitable. This is the truth,,, if BTC price is going up, maybe you win back investment. If hashpower goes up, your contract expires. If BTC price goes down, your contract expires.

Best bet is buy and hold.
7311  Economy / Speculation / Re: cryptocurrency market cap at $100 billion... Are we bottomed yet? on: December 18, 2018, 12:46:08 PM
Do not worry. People waited this whole year for history to repeat itself,,, but nothing happened. Also spring or January was not always a dump historically or did we forget 2017 so fast already?

2019 is a long year and so many unknowns. Maybe lightning network grows. Maybe futures and ETFs happen, maybe not. But you can bet we will all be surprised at what happens no matter what!
7312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 18, 2018, 12:06:22 PM
For now, it seems like they're going to get an interim (probably Carrick) until the end of the season.

I hear they are bringing in Big Sam to save them from relegation. Grin

A bit concerning that they are going for a caretaker for the rest of the season though? Apparently it's going to be someone external, so that rules out both Carrick and McKenna. Not sure who would take the caretaker role? Hiddink?

That would be SO funny to get Sam Allardyce! The only thing he has in common with Furguson is he chews bubble gum a lot. Manchester United have had only 1 strategy with recruitment of managers,,, to get guys who can bring instant success. They do not have patience to let a new manager take over and build something up. Mourinho still delivered. FA Cup plus Europa League Cup. It was not enough.

I do not know if any manager knowing this can take the job. Except for money. No one can deliver instant titles with so many strong competitors who took the time to build big. Maybe finally a big club will go down and down after spending so much money.

Next out. Pogba Sanchez Lukaku.
7313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 18, 2018, 08:22:10 AM
Very true,,, I also admit that I love the first few coins I bought. If you ask me then or today, I still hold them and even still add to them every time I want to spend a bit of extra cash. I liked the ideas behind them and the technology too, speaking about Litecoin Waves and Monero especially. It is sad to see that all of them have fallen, but just like everyone else they are suffering market sentiment effects.

But I have matured now and will of course let go of them if they ever were abandoned or have just gone nowhere in development. For now, Monero and Waves especially are still in development progress, so I do not change my mind. But if they die one day, I will let go.
7314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing USD to BTC: Should BTC hire mercenarys to force adoption by murder? on: December 17, 2018, 11:00:16 AM
Obviously this is a fun topic to discuss,,, but who would hire these mercenaries for Bitcoin? We have enough already of people claiming to do good for Bitcoin. Developers who want to bring back the true Satoshi vision, rich whales who want to force altcoin adoption because Bitcoin is no longer the true Bitcoin,,, now who would pay to kill and extort "for Bitcoin?"

I guess look at bitcoin.com and you have the answer!
7315  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN]MobileBridge Momentum - Revolutionising Marketing & Loyalty. Sale 26.04 on: December 17, 2018, 05:55:39 AM

7316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is IOTA a scam? on: December 17, 2018, 05:25:00 AM
Well, IOTA has done quite a lot of manipulation in the past. I remember they even lied and made up partnership stories but in the end they had to apologize and take back their statements,,, but so have other coins like Ethereum EOS and even XRP,,, which is why I have never trusted either of them. Does being bad in the past and doing manipulative behavior mean they are a scam? I guess not so, but maybe it means we should not trust them.
7317  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Look At Cryptocurrencie's Market Cap In Comparison on: December 16, 2018, 01:40:54 PM
There are two types of researchers as I have been taught. One type has a problem that he is trying to solve, and then tries to experiment with all different theories to find something that can solve the problem. The other type has also a problem, but he already has the solution in his head. He then proceeds to experiment with the theories that can help him get the solution and keeps trying until he has the solution he is looking for,,, no solutions that he was not thinking of.

In crypto, what I find is the 2nd type. Where we make all comparisons until we find the one we like. No offense to OP, this is just only my observation.
7318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Dating Going Into Blockchain on: December 14, 2018, 02:45:42 PM
So many ideas and we now see that not everything can be answered with blockchain. Online dating, supply chain, online gambling, social media, messaging.

There are no killer apps yet, and even the ones with huge market industries fail to take off. Why? Too many competitors,,, fighting for so small userbase.

Forget online dating. Even without blockchain already there is such a small market full of scammers and fake girl profiles. Why would crypto users want to bet on this?
7319  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-13] ‘Best Opportunity Of The Year’ to Buy Bitcoin, Says Weiss Ratings on: December 14, 2018, 02:09:06 PM
Least speculative investment among all of crypto,,, this has always been the position of Bitcoin. But let us not forget that the entire crypto industry as it stands is all about speculation and as this year has shown us it is the most speculative of all asset classes. So little of assets is backed by anything other than Bitcoin being steeped in security and utility. Everything else is hype and marketing with nothing to show as a userbase and product. But when the bull market comes people will forget this anyway Smiley
7320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO: price prediction 2019 on: December 14, 2018, 12:45:24 PM
Pointless for me to predict price for any coin, since I actually am making no more altcoin buys or investment until maybe March 2019. One last buy this year will just be for long term ultra long term storage so all of it will be for Bitcoin.

But okay,,, NEO. Lots of apps coming up. Still mainly buggy games that cost so much to play because of problems. I do not see a good growth in 2019, if it grows, it will just be following crypto trend.
