Actually they changed the laws so that it is no longer your money any longer, but a debt that the bank owes to you. They do not fear "the run" so much since then. Too bad for them that Bitcoin got invented then! LOL!

Speaking as someone who is a learning JEWELLER notme I can tell you these guys are right metals have all sorts of properties like heating points and conductivity, you'll find gold in small amounts on many of the electronics you use and silver is used in dentistry and other places too because of how soft but strong the metal is. Bitcoin has been designed very well and I can't think of much better features to add for it but it only does one thing, if you tried to use it for anything else, it just wouldn't work. You couldn't use Bitcoins for industry and you couldn't even really use them for recreation, they've been specifically designed for the task of being a currency. Bitcoins do the job of being a currency extremely well but that's the only thing they can do, I think if Bitcoin were introduced in an age where everyone was using Gold/Silver for currency like the old days then it would mostly be ignored save for the convenience of doing international transactions.

Maybe it's not a mistake and Microsoft are secretly developing some adult gaming for later lolololool

Security, a guard against inflation and it's just so much better to use than a bank, I hope it stays.

I know what you mean, there's quite a bit of stuff we can get away with but I think that's only because they know we would be happy beating the crap out of them if they went too far, often you'll see them trying to gauge us all and if they think there's going to be enough pissed off people they back off.

I played EVE Online and argued with people who used that very same logic lol

While some of the stuff was clearly said by morons who don't know how the internet works, there was one here which is clearly just someone being frustrated and having a joke, I even found an article for you, it was awhile ago but it illustrates my point perfectly. http://www.webuser.co.uk/news/top-stories/438817/man-arrested-after-airport-bomb-joke-on-twitterCan you imagine what would happen if even the police etc. could be arrested for what they said on the internet or comments they made about people? Everyone would end up in jail!

Get both and diversify Yeah the wait is a bit of a pain but spammers are even more of a problem.

None of you could even say these things if you didn't live in a democracy. Don't worry, our representatives are hard at work trying to fix that problem. Honestly, don't you read about how many people are getting arrested for saying stupid things on twitter and facebook? Yes, I said arrested, there have also been cases where politicians in my country are getting into trouble for saying stuff. While that's a given over here I'm surprised at how much trouble normal people are getting in, this is why you won't see me post real details on the internet. There was once a time when I thought it would be okay but now I know better. In our current Democracy, you can only say what is considered acceptable not what is true and you can't even have fun being stupid anymore

lolz I guess I have a way different view on what I think Democracy should be than to what it actually is.
|
|
|
Yet again when it comes to politics I encounter a bunch of people who present hypothetical bullshit scenarios and ultimatums, if you've read any history at all then you'd know when it comes to warfare anything can happen.

He's talking about decentralisation not being disorganised, those are different things, what Libertarians and Anarchists tend to follow seems to be self-regulation rather than the more popular definition of chaos. You can still have leadership and communities in such a system but the point is that it's not one big organisation that runs everything.

They keep changing who the main characters are all the time >_< lol

It's just like with the how the American government in particular is acting like the Roman Empire when the American Army comes out saying they have a general named Petraeus. Now the American government and a lot of other leaders are going "You must comply with regulations" and expecting me to not think they haven't gone batshit insane. What are they going to do next? Are they going to act like a Dalek and scream "Exterminate!" at us while firing bullets?
This is supposed to be a democracy for fucks sake, I should have every right to not be involved in their stupid fantasy society if I want to.

This is a common problem in lots of online gaming that uses currency, particularly if they can transfer into the real world, look at EVE Online and Second Life, EVE Online is a great example because of all the stupid glitches and bad coding it has because at least with Second Life you have to be fairly creative to make real money but in EVE you have entire corporations botting in 0.0 space and I wouldn't be surprised if they were making a tidy fortune selling all they make.
If you're going to make an online game currency it has to have proper artificial limits placed on it and clear rules like with Bitcoin, that said, while I can understand the appeal of this sort of thing, I don't think currencies belong in an online game precisely because it's a game.

Yes game of thrones and the episode had a good ending too

#include <Iostream> #include <SFML/Graphics.hpp> #include <SFML/OpenGL.hpp>
int main() {
sf::RenderWindow window(sf::VideoMode(800, 600), "test");
sf::CircleShape shape ( 50 ); shape.setFillColor( sf::Color::White );
while (window.isOpen()) {
sf::Event event; while (window.pollEvent(event))
{ if (sf::Mouse::isButtonPressed ( sf::Mouse::Left ) )
shape.setPosition ( sf::Mouse::getPosition( window ).x , sf::Mouse::getPosition( window ).y );
}
{ if (event.type == sf::Event::Closed) window.close(); }
window.clear(); window.draw ( shape ); window.display();
}
return 0;
I managed to partially fix my code yet again to make it almost functional, turns out, keeping mouse events outside of the brackets where you're having your objects interact with the mouse/keyboard royally fucks things up if you're not careful, now I just need to figure out why my shape is terrified of my mouse cursor and get this code working with the move command. Oh and never forget, x and y always, never y and x

Phew, I need to take a break. Pussy!

yey! more people posting their code other than me!
