741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk and his invention on: June 14, 2021, 10:41:31 AM
In my opinion, it is better to ignore all of those tweets from Elon musk regarding Bitcoin mining, because if people keep engaging him base on those tweets It will surely go trending and highlighted and all of the attention will go to Elon Musk and contrary it brings negativity to the bitcoin side, especially in the bitcoin mining-related issue, the problem here is deep it involves the future of our planet we have a timeline to fulfilled it's only 9 years left and if the global temperature is continuing to rise it may game over to us, that's why those issues are need to be tackled in the right venue and not on twitter arena.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Man Duped out of $282,000 in Brutal Crypto Scam on: June 14, 2021, 10:12:04 AM
It keeps happening repeatedly elsewhere as long as we are not learning from the past, this manipulation from the "crypto scammers" will also continue, Thats why every person who wants to enter into the crypto space should be aware of the possible threats that might be encountered along the way not just limited on the crypto price volatility but also from the crypto scammers that always lurking around and searching for a new target to devour usually they are targeting the noobs for obvious reasons.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami, the capital of the world of digital currencies? on: June 14, 2021, 09:56:10 AM
I find it more interesting information, But I think Maimi is not new in the crypto scene In fact Miami was regularly hosting big crypto-related events in the previous years that's why I presume Miami is already a crypto-friendly city in the US since then. But based on that proclamation from the City Mayor it means that the city government of Miami has already recognized Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legal tender alongside the US$dollar.
744  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is a bounty manager? on: June 12, 2021, 01:13:04 PM
In some of the threads I'm following lots of users mention the word "bounty campaign" or "bounty manager" which is a term I've never heard before. Is it something similar to a marketing campaign?

Yes, you hit it right its a form of a marketing campaign, and usually, from start-up projects, they need people to spread the word about their project and advertise it on social media, forums, and blog sites so that many potential investors will come in to buy its token offerings. While the bounty manager is a person who has the responsibility to check all of the marketing campaigns (bounty campaign) that he was managing, that's the simple explanation about it.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 12, 2021, 12:55:09 PM
BUsd related to Binance. So some sure about it. If anything happened  Binance can be point out. If USDT happended what can we do?

so what is the best ?

IMHO, I think both Stablecoins are indeed useful for different purposes, USDT or Tether is widely used in almost every centralized exchange, and Tether was also used the three important Network such as ERC20 on Ethereum, TRC20 on Tron, and OMNI in Bitcoin Network, while BUSD or the Binance USD is not widely used except in the Binance exchange but BUSD also used the BSC and Binance Chain Network, and if you ask me which is better I will choose the USDT but except for those red flags.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now the IMF comes in! on: June 11, 2021, 04:09:19 PM
What can we expect from the IMF? We all know that this Global Financial Institution is only a tool to make poor countries suffer more and hook with the debt forever IMF just like World Bank are just instruments to make poor countries followed all they say, Just think a little bit and consider some important reasons, where this financial institution is based? It's pretty obvious they want to protect something. anyway, El Salvador is a sovereign country they can do what they want. It is clear now that some powerful forces are moving now to discredit Bitcoin so let us see what will happens next.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's official view of El Salvador on: June 10, 2021, 12:42:02 PM
It's not unreasonable because he is right that it cryptocurrencies is volatile and not everyone can keep up with the prices moving up and down, businesses could go bankrupt any time of the day when the prices started going down.

Most businesses today use payment processors like BitPay, that automatically convert the crypto funds to USD so I'm pretty sure that volatility won't be problematic, not for businesses anyway.

I agree with this observation, usually, if Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies if used as payment particularly in Bitpay it was instantly converted into the US dollar or the native currency of that country where it was used if it was only supported so there's nothing to be afraid of,  I think they missed out something about the word "legal tender" lol. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies already exist for almost 10 years and there's is no single country that was bankrupt or disrupted because adopting it as a legal tender doesn't mean that you are throwing out your sovereign (fiat) currency into the garbage bin, Bitcoin serves as an alternative asset, and El Salvador can tax it so that they can generate revenue, plus they are planning to mine Bitcoin using the clean energy from geothermal power plants sounds interesting it seems that El Salvador was put on the map now as a cryptocurrency-friendly state I believe more opportunity will come to El Salvador soon.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Crypto in Free-Fall again, BTC retesting 30K then all the way to 10k and bel on: June 08, 2021, 02:43:27 PM
IMO, for the noobs, it's unusual bitcoin and altcoin activity but for the people that already experience it in the past, it is only normal because no matter how bitcoin price fall and after that, we can expect that it will climb to another level again, so just let the bitcoin work that way as long as you did not sell your BTC you still have the chance to recover your investment in the shortest time as possible just believe.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ETH on: June 07, 2021, 11:59:38 AM
Hello guys, what is the next eth in your point of view?? I can see next eth is Polkadot.

IMHO, I don't think Polkadot can beat Ethereum even in the next few years, don't get me wrong I'm not against PolkaDot but I don't think it can be the next Ethereum if we base on the trend, Binance Smart Chain is more capable and popular compare to any other smart-contract platforms. it is more appropriate to say that BSC as a copycat of Ethereum will be the next eth. But just only my opinion!
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Know? - 32 Companies Now Hold Bitcoin on: June 07, 2021, 11:50:29 AM
Its a piece of good news that some mainstream companies are already considering the cryptocurrency potential, although that it's a positive development for the whole crypto industry but still it was just a small number of mainstream companies that recognized and adopt the cryptocurrency potential I hope it will grow more and include those mainstream giants.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't we have too many smart contract platforms already? on: June 05, 2021, 08:30:08 AM
I Agree with that observation Mate, I believe that we have too many smart contracts platform in the market nowadays it all happens because they want to replicate the success of Ethereum that's why they are creating the same function and features the smart-contract services But on the other aspect some platforms are not settled to compete Ethereum because they want to dethrone Ethereum that's why they have created a much capable smart contract function with much faster transactions and cheaper fees compare to Ethereum that's the new trend today.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: June 05, 2021, 08:10:28 AM
Why people are always talking about Elon Musk and his companies they always getting too much attention and free advertisement Its better to ignore all of those Elon Musk tweets so that everyone's ego will not be affected because I don't believe that Elon can manipulate the entire crypto market that sounds stupid to me. But regarding Tesla and cryptocurrencies, it is pretty obvious that Mr. Musk Billions are coming from those companies so that's not surprising why he cares much about Tesla, SpaceX, and all of its milking cows including Dogecoin I guess.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investable Coins on: June 04, 2021, 11:47:07 AM
One thing I can't understand with Cryptocurrency in general is why coins that enable what a project is for (eg. Ripple for payment transactions) is an investable asset. I'm hoping someone can give me their thoughts on this. Also interested in any other articles or podcasts that discuss this topic.

With Bitcoin the digital gold analogy makes perfect sense to me, and even with Ether because it enables other coins and projects underneath it that makes sense to a degree- but wouldn't it be detrimental for most projects to have an expensive price per coin if you are trying to create a stable market for projects to be built underneath it? You have those with an investor mindset wanting the price to grow and then others using it as payment to enable other services having to deal with the volatility.

Aren't these forces completely opposed to each other? Don't projects have to favor one over the other?

IMHO, I think the purpose of cryptocurrencies is not opposite with each other but it has only different functions, In fact, they are interconnected because most of the cryptocurrencies have a common problem which is the volatility except the stable coin (fiat and Gold pegged) And usually if we decide to invest in particular coins or tokens we are just speculating that one day the price of the coin/token we bought will be skyrocketed so that we can earn a profit out of it and that's normal because there is no guaranteed investment that exists all are base on speculation so the fact is? when we invest in Bitcoin, Xrp or Eth with different functions like payment, Investment, smart-contract, etc. we are just speculating so there is no distinction between them.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still on NFT's? on: June 04, 2021, 11:08:41 AM
I have read the news that NFT Sales Slump by 90% sales this month, Over these previous months it's been declining, Is this a sign that it's already dying? or it's just a method to gain and become durable and scalable for the long term? What do you think?

I think the NFT hype was cooled down already plus accompanied by today's market condition that's why it is not surprising to see a 90 percent sales decline. however, if the market condition will improve hopefully? I believe NFT sales were also increased but I'm not so sure about it, just my personal opinion.

But the Non-Fungible Token or the (NFT) is not just an ordinary investment or a collection because it was a piece of digital art so it was more than just an ordinary token.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: June 04, 2021, 10:40:14 AM

June starts with great news for all GOLD token users. The audit of the new smart contract has been completed. Soon we will start distributing GOLD tokens using a new smart contract.

Good news, thank. You so we looking forward to more supply and more exchanges in the future  Wink and a safe storage  Grin

I don't see the need of exchanges to be honest, if they want they can list the token by their own, paying fees is waste of money.

Edit: I figure it would have been fine with most of bounty participants, had the payment of last month were merged with payout (just delay of 10 or so days), you would have to pay some less fees.

Dear libert19,

Yes. All payments will be merged into one payment. You are right.

https://gold.storage

Is it? Because some people received the payments yesterday

It was not the bounty payments . April and May payments will be combined into one payment. It was the restoration of wallet balances before the hacker attack.

Hello admin I feel confused with your statement about the merge of bounty payment (April and May) how about the March payment we only receive the February Payment based on the recorded transaction it was made on (March 12, 2021)  Therefore the three months payment will be merged into one transaction and it was the month of (March-April-May) between 6th to 15th of June 2021? Just for the record thank you!
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WALLETS EXPLANATIONS on: June 03, 2021, 09:56:22 AM
please I'm a newbie and still learning about crypto, bounty, and wallets but the most challenging aspect is the wallets. please the is this bounty I'm doing of which demands a BSC ( binance smart chain) wallet address but I provided my metamask wallet because they all start with the same format. please I want to know whether my token will be received through it or my token cannot be paid through the metamask wallet I provided.

I think some comments are already pointed out the things you need to do with your concern about the BSC Network address on Metamask wallet, Thats why I have a different suggestion since you are a newbie base on your OP I think you should use a Trust Wallet instead of Metamask because in Trust wallet there's already a prepared addy on BSC (BEP20) tokens no more technical inputs or process to be done. it's easy as counting.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with Binance and KNC KyberNetwork $5.95 USDT on: June 03, 2021, 09:47:32 AM
I was able to sell some KNC I had bought in USD weeks ago for $1.40 or so and sell in USDT today for $5.95

USDT had not been available for whatever reason

I think its a sort of some glitch on the exchange side, it happens to me on Binance one time and I thought that my internet connection was the reason and when I refresh it the price was not the same again so I presume it's like a cache data on my previous session or maybe a bug I don't know but it really happens sometimes.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on in Binance Smart Chain? on: June 02, 2021, 11:14:08 AM
First it was pancakeswap, venus, bunnyswap, now it is burgerswap and juld. What's going on?I know blockchains are vulnerable and all. But I noticed that the Binnace Smart Chain has been under severe attacks recently. Is it because of low number of validators leading faster transactions or what?

I think you got the wrong notion about what happened recently, the problem is not the BSC Network just like what happens in some Ethereum Network DeX/Defi platforms in the previous months, the platform has a hole that exploited by those hackers through (flash loans) and it is not surprising because those codes are made by humans that's why it's not perfect and without a repeated thorough audit those vulnerabilities won't be discovered its more on the technical aspect that's why we as ordinary users has nothing to do with them.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can good news impact crypto value without whales? on: June 02, 2021, 02:41:37 AM
I think those so-called whales are part of the trading system elsewhere not just in the crypto industry but across all markets that's why it is not easy to disregard their role involving crypto prices because they have the power to manipulate the price especially in the volatile industry like crypto so it is better to accept that reality and move on let us co-exist with them.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where you when bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and other altcoins reach ATH on: May 31, 2021, 07:22:04 AM
where you when bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and other altcoins reach ATH. at that time what did you do. buy more? sell all the coins in your portfolio? or just keep quiet because you think it's too late to follow the trend.

When you look at the market today, are you sorry you made that decision?

I personally regret selling before the coins I own reach their highest price. but glad that the decision wasn't entirely wrong. seeing the bad state of the market today, I am grateful for the choice I made. so what about you, what choice did you make?

Thats normal mate, I think not just you but many crypto enthusiasts are also had experiences like that because we don't know the outcome in the first place so we use to balance and analyze things and during that time we think that it's already the "highs" so for me it's okay at least we have earned, unlike others, the people who bought during the "all-time high" they are dealing with a huge loses now.
