741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WE NEED A HALL OF FAME? on: May 13, 2022, 07:48:42 PM

Instead, will it not be better to have a Hall of Shame for projects in this section which scammed its consumers or those which became totally useless. That will help warn others so they do not fall prey. It can also be extended too to bounty managers who do not deliver or ensure that hunters get paid. Any of this two options if done will be a huge benefit to members here more than spamming with names of those who won tournaments.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup Groups. on: May 13, 2022, 07:15:47 PM
Most of the time, it is obvious the FA punishment is not sufficient enough because over the years this ugly attitude from fans is still prevalent.

Nigeria FA punishment is never harsh enough to make this teams stop. Most teams do not want there matches on television because they will be exposing them. If you run a poll on that with the local teams involved to find out which of the teams will want their matches shown live I can tell you that less than 30% will say yes. Also you know that most of the state FA chairmen have stakes in most of the teams. So how will they punish offenders? Nigeria local league is a big joke. It is the referees who get beaten up almost every week or the other I pity.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Involved in LUNA SCAM on: May 13, 2022, 03:13:34 PM

The worry is about how Binance handled the situation and that makes me begin to think Binance is hiding something. It may not be scam in the sense of it but there is something wrong with that just happened. Why block withdrawal if you feel that something is worthless or a scam. Binance should at least allow traders withdraw their tokens. Luna is not listed on Binance alone, it has many other listings and traders should be able to do with their Luna what they want with it instead of the tokens remaining in Binance.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspend Terra LUNA Coins! on: May 13, 2022, 01:47:27 PM
Anyway, the Binance exchange move is a positive response to address any untoward incidents that waiting to happen if the Terra Luna problem will continue to get worse in the days to come so it is important to remain vigilant as always.

Binance is condemning Luna on Twitter because of what has happened to Luna and that shows how no one wants to help you out when you are in a mess. Binance should enable withdrawal for those who want to withdraw and then continue to suspend trading activities on its exchange if it likes. It does not concern me. Am suspecting Binance for quickly closing the withdrawal tab. What is Binance hiding. We know how exchanges can suspend or delist tokens but they always find a way of allowing withdrawal. Binance move is not a positive one.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspend Terra LUNA Coins! on: May 13, 2022, 12:12:55 PM

I think Binance is harsh by its decision of suspending Luna trades and at the same time disabling withdrawals for it. That is not good. I do not know why Binance rushed to do that. Even if they want to suspend the token maybe because of  low trade volume, that is no problem. It is their business to protect but they should allow traders have the ability to withdraw their Luna to private wallets or to any other exchange exchange they want. And not disable withdrawal.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 13, 2022, 11:32:07 AM
Please be wise and also careful during this market condition. we still don't know if the market will continue dropping or not.
Although if we want to buy, don't buy panic and feels itching to buy. It is risky because the market may continue dropping.
Like what happened to Luna.

Nobody will tell you they know where the bottom is and at what point the market direction will change. For those itching to buy now, make sure you are doing that with money that is not in urgent need. You can be lucky that price will change upward direction and you can be unlucky too it goes down more. Alot of traders are buying and thinking price will start going up but it continues to go down. No, Luna's case was not caused by a bear market. It is a technical issue and Luna's shift to depeg to BTC pair.
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 13, 2022, 10:43:34 AM
In fact peeps are literally using shitcoins as the best way to earn money as they are easy to buy and sell if the volumes good and price is tiny! Such coins are easy to drop off.
It depends on what you regard as shitcoins.

Shitcoins are coins that become tradable in the market, but later its liquidity reduce. It will get to a point order will not be filled in time, if market order is used, it will lead to loss. If theree is bull market, shitcoins may have very little growth or no growth or can even decline during the time. If there is bear market, shitcoin will fall most. A coin that have no value than to make someone that bought it to lose are called shitcoins. Shitcoins are also coins that are very prone to become a dead coin.

Do we say Luna is a shitcoin if we use your qualifications of what a shitcoin is? I guess alot of people will be quick to say that it is a shitcoin now that disaster has fallen on it. But a few months ago many people called it a nice and solid project. Most times we do not know if a project is a shitcoin from the beginning until something bad happens to it, until it is tested. There are other projects that have faced this same problem but came out of it and people have forgotten that they once accused them of being shitcoins. The major thing is for fallen tokens to rise after they fall and no one will call then shitcoin again.
748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: May 13, 2022, 05:57:28 AM
My biggest lesson about crypto trading is the fact that no matter what you must sell. Selling is the most pivotal aspect of crypto currency trading because without selling; you are never taking profits and without taking profits and increasing your capital, crypto currency trading is not sustainable. The most important factor to remember is that a 10% profit is better than an 80% loss.

I learnt this lesson also but in a hard and rough way, I expected my profit to increase and get to a height too high. It never happened. I did not know it was a pumped token when it was increasing in price. It is bad to hold a pumped and dumped token. If you have them is good to take profit once it goes up. Do not be attached to them except you want to suffer loss and depression.
749  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 13, 2022, 04:45:04 AM
Guys is it just me or the amount of crypto enthusiast has increased especially in we country, right now the vast upload of Crypto-Currency related stories on peoples social media status is massive, this leads me to wonder are these true crypto-Enthusiast or just people wey Dey follow the band wagon.

When you look front and back and no help, you go help yourself be that. Na wetin deh sup now be that. 750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holy Crap ! Terra is gone to zero ?!?! on: May 12, 2022, 07:12:53 PM

Alot of buying and selling is still going on at exchanges. Traders are still active trading Luna and making profit from it, and investors are buying enough to hold. Check the exchanges it is listed on and see what goes on there. Luna is not dead. The price is picking up and it is around two cents after falling to $0.008 today. It can still rise like what happened to Ripple with SEC in 2020. Am buying more Luna and holding.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Terra Luna bringing the whole market down? on: May 12, 2022, 09:30:32 AM

I wanted to start a thread on Luna before I saw someone has already started it. We expect Luna holders to be feeling very bad now. The coin has fallen badly within two days and that is crazy. Its current price now is $0.07 from over $110 a month ago and it can still fall more before the end of today. Luna is a good project for me and I hope those who also trust it should not panic about what is happening to it now. They can instead buy more at its crashed price.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: May 12, 2022, 08:45:01 AM
***
it's your knowledge and your timing to position your investment. There's no permanent instead, there's strategy that you

can use to continue making a decent amount of profits from this venue of investment.

That time everyone of us fears is here now. The market is dumping on all tokens. Now is safe now except the stablecoins, even some of them have lost a bit. This a terrible time for bitcoin and the rest of them. Bitcoin has dumped below $27,000 and is still looking like it will lose more and crash further. Most traders are panicking and selling and that is putting more tension in the market, causing the condition to be worse. Those who are profiting from this dump must be those who are professional traders as alot of people are already in loss.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What can be done in this situation? on: May 12, 2022, 07:57:03 AM

Whenever you see such signs know it is going to end in scam. Any serious project will ensure that the bounty manager updates the spreadsheet. Sometimes projects that behave like that are project which manage the bounties by themselves or they get low rank accounts to do it. This is why bounty hunters should know this things and always watch out for accounts that manage this bounties. You did not mention the project or manager. You have to do that so members here will advise you well and DT members can know whether to red tag them or not.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 12, 2022, 06:42:10 AM
30k is possible, 20k is possible, even 10k is possible as much as 50k and 100k in the next few months. All of those who tries to estimate what is bitcoin going to do next are fortune-telling type of guys. One is certain. Its not 2018-2019 and we should not explect symilar price action.

If 10k is possible that will cause alot of death of crypto coins and human beings too. Not everyone who is in crypto knows how to cope with loss. We are likely going to hear of suicide cases of those who can not take loss. The market is beating up everyone and there is confusion everywhere. Most trusted coins are crashing. BNB is very down and the fear of further dump is there. Bitcoin has lost alot of strength.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 11, 2022, 08:41:29 PM
does it make more sense to promote projects that are already trading over those that are not listed on exchange yet?

It makes more sense to do that than promoting projects not listed. What if the projects does not list after you have finished promoting them, what happens? There is the danger of the managers of this projects not releasing rewards to those who helped them promote it. This projects often turn to scam because they do not have anything to loose. After all they are not real and not also in the market.

759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Taught my Octogenarian and Septuagenarian Parents about Bitcoin on: May 08, 2022, 06:51:54 PM
I'm 80 in June. Why are you guys surprised that older people can embrace the concept of Bitcoin? Many of us have enquiring minds, and are prepared to look at new concepts with an open attitude. This is why many older people have a better understanding of the 'rona scam and vaccination mania, and don't just accept government and pharma' propaganda.

Congratulations Jet Cash on your age. Eventhough I suspected you were an older person from a few of your posts I came across a few months ago talking about vaccines and health but i never knew you were this old. 80 years is a long time ago. You have a sound and analytical mind for you to still be catching up with modern technology. You are a fantastic poster too. Teaching my parents about bitcoin is going to be a very difficult thing to do because they do not have interest for anything online.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: May 08, 2022, 06:21:39 AM
I will only believe to this story if the OP is not known for being a thread starter. His account just recently created last March 9 and if this story is real, This thread should be his first created thread. Maybe some screenshots of the trading journey will make this story really authentic. I’m really not buying this kind of story for newbie especially earning thrice the profit while crypto trading risk is very high considering the current volatility of price in both up and down.

OP shared his experience. You were not there when it happened, even if it did not happen I do not see how what he shared should be a problem. It will be a problem only if he is going to ask someone to give him money to trade for him. Without that, no problem. After all people write fictions. Another thing is that you have to know that because someone is a newbie here does not mean they do not have knowledge about trading or bitcoin. That was a mistake I made before thinking  it was so. Besides not everyone fails at everything they do and OP may be one of such exceptional case. What I think we would have done with his story is to ask him to share his trading formula with us and not to doubt him.
