Everyone should take a look at Wordcoin foundation forums. Its clear that Devs are working hard on this coin and soon enought worldcoin will be on its feet again.
I have no doubt.

hope you'll have a good talking too mingophoria.

So is this true?? Did you meet with jefe541? I am hoping that this is all good and I am also worried. Please let us know what happened in the meeting.

Yes apollo we had dinner together, him friend show off email from gridseed and him bank balance account too.
I'm quite sure they are good guys, i just get scared reading your scam beware thread on group buy section i thought something had happened.

Im sure if seller is legit then current trust issue will sort out itself, but cant really take your word right now. Your account was registered 10 days ago.
Would be great if any Hero member with good feedback can vouch for OP. And how about accepting escrow?

I have 2 unconfirmed minting.not recieve after 2 days,what i do ?

These types of questions are going to become more frequent - could the dev team add a help file and/or FAQ to the wallet to explain the "mining" of mint coin in easy to understand language (with pictures if possible), thanks?

That's been asked for since the launch....nada

Those are simply orphaned blocks. Pay no attention to them. Its not an issue, since your coin age is not reset when you get orphan.

Quote
Could FAQ be expanded to include more detail? eg
1) Does one have to "setgenerate true" in the wallet to mine?
2) Could pictures be added of common problems with answers to aid explanations?
3) Add mining examples with approx. hours that a wallet must be open/unlocked per 20 days to ensure mining?

1. No! CPUminer for stake is automatically started when you start wallet. Its integrated inside client. Only thing you need to do for getting stake is be online and unlock wallet.
2. Which are common problems you are talking about? I dont see any problem when running Mintcoin.
3. This has been answered many times. For best stacking interest you should be online and unlocked once per 20 days and minimum once per 40 days. Luck for getting stake block is random. So no one can tell you exactly when you will get it. Can be in first minute and can take few days in worst case.

I put this seller on hold as well. I am not claiming the scam, because no one is quilty until proven so. Just proceed with caution.
TO OP: I really do hope it goes well. Im planning big buy on your next patch.  Cheesy

It seems there are still people who dont understand how multipool effects this coin. I will not explain in detail. I will just repeat the simple fact.

- Multipool ties this coin with all other cryptocoins. Do we want that or not?

If we want Mintcoin to ride with all other coins, then yes. Multipool is a good thing.
If we do not want Mintcoin to depend on other coins then no. Multipool is a bad thing.

My opinion? As long as there are no solid MINT/USD; MINT/EUR exchanges. Multipool is probably a good thing.

I noticed that Mac version is still 1.5. So i compiled 1.6 for Mac too.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/yz1uqioci1qsn2h/MintCoin-1.6-macosx.dmg

This was my first mac compiling experience, so enjoy but use with care.
I had to fix a lot of bugs because MintCoin source code isnt exactly mac friendy by default.
Anyway. It works fine on 10.9. Should work fine with older versions too.

Not a mandatory upgrade. Just new icons, pictures, checkpoints and other minor changes.

In case, theres bounty or thankyouz:

756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake Coin List on: March 17, 2014, 09:22:45 AM
Hey guys great thread,

After reading a few posts I was thinking, why don't we start brainstorming and start our own pos coin? We could compare current pos coins and we could gather a community of like minded stakers. I'm sure we can all relate to the frustrated feeling when looking at these new pos coins and wondering what are they really thinking. I was thinking of doing it myself and brushing up on my coding skills again as I am basically free this next year but I think it could be so much better if we got motivated and involved members onboard. Could be a great way to start from scratch, and build a community..What do you think?

Wrong thread. I suggest you copy-paste your text to your new thread and perhaps give a link here.
Otherwise it gets messy here and im sure no one but trolls want that...

759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT]Mintcoin, Energy Saving Coin With a Fast Distribution *20 Exchanges on: March 15, 2014, 10:57:30 AM
Well, multipool has its pros and cons.

Blackcoin will get more spread with multipool. And thats of course a pro.

Cons?
With multipool Blackcoin is now heavily tied to all altcoins. Its value will not rise in long term view.
Why? Simply because miners who get paid in blackcoin will sell their blackcoin later. Its a dead circle until blackcoin gets more independent with added merchants and services.
