Seems that someone tried to get cheap coins And that wall is preventing it haha... Realistically, why is this coin exploding? Because it isn't following the typical "pump and dump." That's because it isn't... It is a new SHA-256 coin that is rare, hard to mine, and will be coming out with some new innovations in anon, which will soon be in private alpha for the community to test... And that will be just the beginning. Anon tech wont be in testing for a while! I am pushing to get the realtime exchange into testing this weekend. Dont get too excited, this will take some time. James Well, I meant relatively  Obviously I am aware of the process of developing a quite large application, so no rush its better to be developed slowly but perfectly than just to rush it and have tons of bugs I totally agree. +1 I completely agree as well that it needs to be developed to its fullest. On a side note, are there any good technical charts for BTCD yet? I would like to look at some of the indicators because I am beginning to think we are rising a bit too fast... The chart on bittrex looks completely exponential right now. |

Looks like the diff is sure heating up on this coin n people grabbing it like a boss. Will be interesting too see where things are at once POW is over and done and seems to be approaching fast too 13,189 half way their and a little more so it seems only 48% ish to go
Its been less than a day since I got involved with BTCD and of course the price triples on me. We are almost 10% of bittrex volumes. Maybe I should say some negative things so the price comes down? Everytime I try to get some, people just outbid me like crazy monkeys. Stop that! I need to get some more. James I've just been buying up the orderbook to accumulate. Bought it up to .0002, then up to .0003, then up to .0004, then up to .0005 ...you guys are welcome. I guess I wont be getting much more BTCD, maybe have to beg for donations? Anyway I was thinking of posting a tech roadmap, but I am afraid the price would go way too high too fast. How many are available for some testing? It will be command line level stuff, basically a text API to submit various commands. James Well, if you released a road map of the development, that may boot up the price, but a basic white paper may be good; nothing fancy, complex, or in-depth, just something simple. I have had some ideas that may help with the over-all functionality of the coin, if you would like me to PM you with them, let me know. Trimmed... Alright, sounds good so far. Inching closer to 2PH/s...13million+ difficulty
Dat hashrate... And to think just 72 hours ago diff was around 500... EDIT: BTW my price prediction is 0.001 by Saturday Mine is 0.01BTC at end of PoW. Mine is 0.0420 BTC at end of PoW. Well I'll hope for yours then. I also hope for these prices as well... I will have a nice chunk of change if that happens  But seriously though, we don't want too exponential of a growth curve... Sure it's nice to make money like that, but it is not healthy for any coin to do, even bitcoin. Bitcoin went full on moon mode by going to $1200 and look what happened... If/When the dev delivers the new/adapted innovations, we will definitely be at least up to 0.01-0.02. Also by that time, we may even have about a similar difficulty situation to PPC or other major SHA-256 coins. At this rate, we will definitely compete with at least PPC, if not Bitcoin in terms of miners. Remember that miners have to spend electricity and cover costs, which has a tendancy to give certain coins value where otherwise there may not be any. 2 PTH/s is not small by any stretch of the imagination, so I expect the price to go to at least 0.001 by next week. These are just my opinions, take them or leave them. I personally would be invested at any point from now until about 0.001-0.002. |

what is the time expectation ? one is 2 hours old the other is from launch.
The 2 hour old TX is not staking because the coins have not accumulated enough coin age, or maturity. The average time to start staking according to the front page is 12 hours. The TX from launch is staking because the coins have matured. Well, if you take 2 from 12, that gives you about 10 hours left until you begin to stake. Since many people are staking however, the time to an actual reward will more than likely be longer than that, probably 12-24 hours, depending on your luck and stake weight. |

Well, at the end of the day, that's how all investing makes and fails world markets, isn't it? Earning gradually on the good holds and selling speculatively onto the greater and greater risk takers I believe in super as much as any other investor, but that is just how the game works. |

I would say about an extra 300% growth in our market cap isn't too unfeasible at the moment... (Implying a 1 million USD cap) A speculation of a certain value at a certain time is a subjective matter and it's the successful investor's secret . If anyone would actually be repeatedly right about their speculations and spread them with others all the time, he would kill his own investment due to competition he created himself. I rather give facts and numbers, and let people decide themselves how to read/use them. The clever one will know what to do and I look forward having him aboard, the less clever one will not use the information to his advantage and that's where the money for the good investor come from . If this is the next XC scale pump, our high would theoretically be somewhere around 0.001.
That would be a dream come true! I think that 0.0001-0.00015 is not out of the question for this week. Then we either stagnate there or hit it off like vrc and go to 0.0005. In terms of numbers, there is not much separating us and Vrc. Granted the dev still has to deliver, but still. (Just using VRC as an example for the sake of similar numbers...) |
