Seems like April was banned from boards.ie for mentioning Bitcoin. Lovely...

I would also like it if the founder of the "real" block got 5BTC.

I am going to write an email to the developers of Miranda-IM (if you don't know what it is it's an alternative IM to ICQ, MSN, AOL and many others) asking whether they would be willing to start accepting donations in Bitcoin; right now there is only Paypal option and I personally have been using the IM for about 8-9 years now and donated a few times using Paypal. I want to start donating using Bitcoin now.
Have we got any template I could use? I just want to briefly explain what Bitcoin is and how it works, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel if we have something already.
Thanks.

Hi deadalus, You are welcome to join the Irish forum at: http://bitcoin.ie/forum/. Not much happening there right now, but we are trying to change this. Cheers.

It won't be the same. There will be no comments and will look nasty. :/
Why not instead pay for someone to code something that does the same? It would be properly commented and have a great formatting.
You see, I already paid for this software, but parts of the code are obfuscated (with IonCube) and there are errors in the code, that I want to fix myself. In order to do so I need the source code (to figure out how they named session variables etc.). Otherwise I may have to start writing entirely new piece of software. Nevermind, thanks for your response anyway.

Too bad one cannot find someone else's lost wallet on the street.

I have many games from way before 2000 like early 1990s, how much for one game and who pays for shipping.
Did you get a chance to create that list for me?

I will do it for 50 BTC, send me the source.
That's a little bit expensive, there is a guy out there who does it for 5USD per file. My problem is I have about 30 files that I need decoded and the program is not worth of spending 150$ on this. The other thing is - can you do it any better than IonDecoder or DeZender? Because I have used these tools and they only decrypt parts of the code. jib might be right about what he said that it is not possible to get back the full source code. If you think you can recover the whole source code I can send you one file for the test. I will also send you this file decoded with IonDecoder so that we can compare them later. If you can do it I will send you 50BTC, but only if you recover the original file. What do you say?

Unfortunately this doesn't work with ionCube encoded files, only Zend.

I joined the mining pool yesterday evening. Today I received 2.47 BTC. That's actually pretty quick.

Do you want to buy old Z80 games on audio cassettes? I have some 50 cassettes, each with 5-10 games on it.
Sorry, no. PC games only.

As FreeMoney said - and also from my own experience - you have to get into the habit of asking yourself a question whether you are dreaming right now or not quite often. If you keep on doing that in reality, you will eventually start doing that while dreaming. Then you will be able to realize that you are actually dreaming; however, usually for the first few times you will probably wake up straight after realizing that you were dreaming. It takes a little bit of practice to learn this.

As of now, it seems easy to lie about the number of total work units required to solve a block. There is nothing to prevent the pool operator to open a few accounts and attributing some modest number of work to those accounts, increasing the number of total work units required, and dividing the 50BTC proportionally amongst all accounts, including his dummy accounts. With enough blocks, he can snag quite a sum of money. Honest clients will see that their work units are being properly accounted, but they can never see that their effort is being diluted by the operator.
Do you really think if slush was retaining a percentage of the earned bitcoins for himself people would stop using the pool? I mean officially retaining, of course. I'll wager that if I have thought of this, somebody else has already implemented it.
There is this quote by George Bernard Shaw: "A pessimist is a man who thinks everybody is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it."

I have many games from way before 2000 like early 1990s, how much for one game and who pays for shipping.
Thanks for your response. Any chance you could email me the complete list? Also, there are some details that I pay attention to, like: - what kind of box is the game in (big carton box, dvd box etc) - is it original release or some kind of re-release like sold-out, kixx, white label etc - is the original content of the box intact (manuals, disks etc) - is the release language English Please don't take the effort of putting those details on the list, because it is quite possible that I own some of them or wouldn't be interested in some. I will pay for the shipping. What country are you in? As for the price per game it really depends on what you have got there. Thanks.

If you have any vintage (released before year 2000) PC games in good condition let me know. Ideally if you have the original retail boxes, manuals etc. I may be interested in buying some for Bitcoins.
Thanks.

Perhaps mining in general - this would include all alternative ways of mining coins?

Any one here had a lucid dream .Its the knowledge of being in dream .Simply you know exactly that you are dreaming in a dream . Concept used in inception.
Yeah, I used to play around with LD and OOBE in the past; haven't done this in a while, but I have had a few lucid dreams. Why do you ask?
