741  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 130/260 GHs Coincraft A1 board-389/807 EUR April on: April 24, 2014, 05:34:30 PM
Hi everybody .

now its the sadly Day for me, cause my Hex8 - 130 dont wont to hash anymore.
Whats happend ?
Nothing. At the Morning i looked at the Miner and everything was OK.
Later on it shows no Hashrate anymore. Ok, Server or other Things down.

BUT !

it always Shows 0,800 V ( settings = 240/900 till start )

Reboot Raspi , PSU Change , Cable Change , disconnected 100 Times.
Then start over to normal Windows PC .
Hex Miner Programm starts the same when i get this Board. No other Things changed. 100 Times changed differnet Settings , HW Find and up

But no Hashes anymore.

Power LEd = on , USB LED = ON
2 LEDS green
Chips Cold, Fans OK

Any Hints ?

Or its going to be RMA ?

Greetz Glen

Try it at 950 voltage.

Well to be fair he did spam like 50 or 60 times wheres my refund in all caps. That generally is just poor form. That being said all they have to do is email him or he them and hopefully get a reply that way.

i wouldnt spam like this if they answer my calls or reply to my email just once but no....i was told that they added me to the refund list they were creating..that was april 8. it's already the 23rd not a single reply from them. tell me what would u do ? my refund is for 4 units and 1 defective unit that i'm returning since i cant get any support on that unit
You'd better listen to opium advises the more psu you buy the chance to make crap work is bigger ..
Do not listen to amt and opium shit. Stop spending your money for nothing. Just go for refund

I will take a look to see what I can find out. My thought is the power supply might be the problem. Even though it has 104A on a single rail....that might be the issue in and of itself. I ran into a problem with my Lepa 1600W and had to replace it recently. I had to relegate to PC. I ordered a pair of these instead.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-182-251

I was seeing power sags with my lepas that I could not explain as I knew the electrical was fine. Figured I had some extra on my budget so I shelled out for the ones above. I will post back more though once i have them. THe performance on the lepas was good BUT not as consistent. I was sure it was not the hardware in this case. FYI that rosewill was one of 3 models AMT actually recommended. They obviously had their systems working with those so I am going on that recommendation. Also the amps on those are more in line with our needs for these miners. I will know more once i have them. But chances are its the PSU in this case. Like I said. It kinda sucks because its a bit of trial and error. BUT it will help others out at least.

I too think it may be the PSU. I have another PSU arriving today. It has 6 - 12v / 30a rails.

I do know that one module is for sure bad. There isn't any smoke but I can smell it.
Dude,
Do not spend your money for nothing.
Why do you think poserkoto Zipkin is so silent. He do not ever bother to delete my posts any more.
He is just shipping crap and he knows it!
That is all. Said....it is beyond very border that can be crossed

How about you add something new and helpful?
How about you to stop spending money for nothing

Obviously amt systems are not working dude!
Will you be so kind to share how your systems are working?
Pool graph preferably.
Thank you very much in advance

Again Loshia contribute something instead of useless comments since that is the only thing you have done throughout the entire AMT thing. You have not contributed anything but I told you so type comments...of course its obvious the systems aren't working properly. BUT looking carefully through the various comments, in not one situation is anyone running things as AMT recommends and they did make recommendations. The PSU is not one of the 3 they recommend which I imagine they tested with....OR the power requirements are met. The PSU situation is the case with me. The cards show up just fine. BUT the lepas on a per rail basis do not feed enough amperage to the cards. Those cards require alot more it appears. In my case all but a couple of chips are showing up. BUT not hashing. This is due to power. That much is obvious just on reading up on it. Once I get the new PSUs I will know for sure. The ones I got are the rosewills recommended by AMT. So if they still don't work properly after that (with the power sags not occurring on my electrical just on the system) I will be contacting AMT to address this. As its consistent on both systems its likley not both of them. The machines do hash for a while before they start experiencing this problem. But they dont sustain it. This is usually a power issue in my experience with other power hungry electronics.

Again opieum2 ,

I asked simple question and i got very long explanation that AMT stuff works as always but not your blades....I am not laughing at you
I can tell you that it is not PSU 100%
However fill free to spend 300+ USD for the second time i do not mind....
But then i will laugh loudly because my statement that Zipkin poserkoto is giving the crap in person will come true  Wink

751  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.855 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 21, 2014, 03:13:20 PM
New price for AntMiner S1: 0.855btc each one, shipping cost included.

These really need a step change now bitmain - drop to 0.45 and they'll nearly be worth buying again.

Unless Bitmain reveals his true shipping costs its hard to know exactly how low he could go and still make a decent return.

No one should expect Bitmain to give these away!

Unless he reveals how long units have been tested also Grin
752  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 3 release countdown on: April 21, 2014, 07:09:58 AM
Loshia is on my ignore for a reason and we will leave it at that. He has little of interest to add to my motives for being pissed off at Avalon.

I stand by my statement and as a former customer of Avalon if they want to rehab their rep in this community they might want to start again with an explanation and an apology. I doubt that will happen but let us see what they say. Unlike others I would not and have not used Avalon chips because of the damage it has caused so many good engineers. Removing a negative trust rating for Ngzhang is dependant on his actions with regards to coming clean to the community and making amends. That is the least they could do given the millions lost and has absolutely nothing to do with me personally but has to do with the fact I was also WRONGED as a customer and it almost cost our group 160,000 USD in losses. You won't see me lining up for Avalon, Hash Fast or BFL chips free or not as I would avoid them at all costs and have avoided them at all costs because ethically it is the right thing to do.

Now Loshia... he doesn't seem to mind dealing with people that are ethically challenged as a early and ardent supporter of BFL and more recent support of others who have questionable records in dealing with customers he should watch throwing stones in the glass house he lives in.
1. Why you read my posts as long as I am in yor ignore list? Funny a?
2. You can read my posts abut BFL then. I am too tired to look for them now. In short I said many times that Bfl are zero and a proxy between china and US. speaking of dealing with ethically challenged persons I am wondering what is the status of your cooperation with Zipkin and AMT. they are most ethical and honest company right now with rating beating BFL Grin
3. I am happy with my glass house and it will not brake. I am wondering how long will you be able to pump the ballon  of your project asking people to work for free and pay membership fee as a bonus Grin  My admirations ....that is a brilliant idea bick Grin
753  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 3 release countdown on: April 20, 2014, 07:12:54 PM
It seems that there are a lot of big buyers in China if they are still in the market.
Of course they are if chip price is good they will buy if not they will pass no matter if Bick will remove his negative rating or will consider eventually next year to come up with board for gen 3 Grin eventually  Grin Grin
However I am damn sure that if NG sends him 1K free chips just for motivation the negative rating will be removed immediately. However I am not sure if design will be ready by the end of the year Grin
Who gives a fuck anyway Grin if Bick rating is positive or negative  Grin he is acting like Avalon business is on his Mersey. ridiculous  Grin

How often/when do you update your BTC price?  The BTC price on the website does not match the USD price.

Yeah it is mandarin dude Grin
756  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 3 release countdown on: April 20, 2014, 12:34:33 PM
Bick,
Comrades took the money is that hard to understand it was beyond NG.
Does this makes any senesce to you?
how do  you think 23 year old boy born in China was able to travel  FREELY to US and back. he was coming from nowhere and he just discovered a bit coin blog a yea ago. And he was their sales manager? How do you think is possible yufu to live in the states and be able to go back to china? He is a comrade child  for sure no other way
This things are not happening by accident
If Avalon  chip price is good it does not really matter if you will consider avalon gen 3 chips or not. Let us say you consider them by accident. You know next year board design release for avalon gen 3 is not gona work Grin next year gen 3 chips will be history along with your project dude Grin i do strongly suggest to start reconsidering and do things faster before time kills your project. your team members can work for free but it will not last long Grin oh I forgot apart of the skills required to be part of your team people are paying fee for the owner to work for free Grin
Besides avalon has it all and it is free. Everyone can assemble miners with the info available without any license fees Grin
If the chip price is not competitive then avalon is lost. This is called a business.
I can assure you that NG is a honest person. But in china if you wanna live you have to pay the price.
Whatever happened it was not his fault and he was not able to do anything to change it.
Will it brig back all lost money to community?
no of course. But as I said there are no rules sometimes even in business.....
And who cares if you gona remove your negative ranting on NG? You got your refund fro avalon right?
Who are you? what have you done and why you feel your negative rating is so important for NG for me and probably others. as I said get back to your projects. I Have been reading the summary of your famous meetings lately. My feeling is that nothing moves forward with your projects. So get your ass back to work and carefully plan next meeting bulshit  Grin
If you are able to take some money from  Zipkin AMT and make him part of your team that would be great. He has so much know how to share Grin just make sure there is enough duct tape around
757  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: New Arrival !!! AVALON 3 Miner(820G) on stock, buy from factory www.lketc.com on: April 20, 2014, 11:55:45 AM
Dude,
If you wanna sell something out of china just take into account mandarin is not our mother alphabet
Would you be so kind tell us what is the price?
As I see none cares even you....

Update guy's

According to this post

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569769.msg6290134#msg6290134

Even guys who met Zipkin the clown in person and received miners in hand are not able to make AMT crap work

0GH issue sounds like they got 100% not working crap from Zipkin hands
UPDATE
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569769.msg6301060#msg6301060
Some background is required to solve it Grin

I do have following questions for AMT:
WRONG see UPDATE
1. Zipikin poserko Grin how your hands could give 100% not working crap when you are  meeting face to face with customer?
We all know that you have no dignity and owner but you are loosing even common sense. I just can not get it. You meet the guy, knowing that the crap that you are giving is not working and you still gave the miner to him?
What do you think gonna happen if by accident you meet him or someone else from your customers in Genno's pub Grin
I do not want to think when gonna happen Grin
the below two questions remain Grin
2. Zipkin poserko how long it is taking for you to give just simple update what PSU guy's do need Grin
Have in mind that they are spending 300-500 USD on top just for PSU which supposed to be delivered with the crap Grin
I know you do not care sure....

3. Zipkin POSERKOOOOOO when you are gonna pay me the 10 BTC you own me. I am totally fucked Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

4. Zipkin Poserko it is about time to confess that you do not have a single working blade amongst your CRAP Grin
