At last back to full action! English Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and of course Ligue 1. Especially now that PSG sign Messi (and not only) looks like Real Madrid's "galacticos" back in the days... Grin Soon Serie A will "join" the contests as well, let's hope that this will be a good (safe) season for all of us. Cool
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 14, 2021, 11:59:06 AM
Arsenal made a total of 22 shots, 4 of which were on-target shots. But could not score a single goal. On the other hand, Brentford managed to score 2 goals with only 3 on-target shots. From this, it is easy to guess how weak Arsenal's forward is. A horror awaits Arsenal next season. I wouldn't be surprised if they can't be in the top 10 of the points table.
Arsenal is just a disappointment honestly,  am not even their fan but I feel what their fans feels,  no one will count how many shots they had on target as long as they lost to new comers Brentford their game plan is now unknown,  the team is still in a mess and am seeing Arteta's job might be on the line should these results continue.

A terrible starting result for Arsenal and I couldn't agree more with you, a true disappointment. The only thing that matters is scoring and with 4 shots on target you with Brentford, things doesn't seem easy this season... Sad

Man Utd on ~30 mins still 0 - 0. I believe that this will soon change... Tongue
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 14, 2021, 11:22:20 AM
@Kusman Valencia managed to win the game 1 - 0 despite the early red card, and this shows that this team will have a very good season if they continue to be resilient like this as the league progresses. Furthermore I’m not sure Getafe fans will be happy with what they saw, and Getafe player’s will be under tremendous pressure in their next match.

When Getafe were also shown a red card in the 76th minute, the conditions were equalized for both teams. But Getafe were still the better side in the remaining minutes. I didn't watch the game fully but I guess Valencia started playing more defensively while getting close to the end. Valencia didn't have even 1 shot on goal in the second half.  Grin  Congrats on their victory! It's a good start.

Unfortunately for Getafe, they played well but did not win the match or even draw. I was happy if the match was a draw. Because Getafe's players attacked enough. But Getafe failed to score due to Valencia's defensive gameplay. Yet congratulations to the Valencia team, they won the first match.

Getafe shows that will be a tough opponent for all the teams and if continue to play with this mentality, can probably manage to achieve something bigger this season. Indeed a draw would be the most "fair" result but Valencia is a solid team that knows how to take/ secure a win. Let's see today's matches... Tongue
744  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawals limits {0.05 BTC accounts} on: August 14, 2021, 10:35:49 AM
Binance faces homelessness if no country is willing to host them. If a country like Cayman Islands is not interested in your business, things are grim.  More at
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353363.msg57648203#msg57648203

It's true that the Cayman Islands are well-known tax heaven with fewer restrictions but it's not the only one. There are other countries/ tax heavens who can host them (and why not do it?) if they found themselves in front of a dead end. I'm sure though that Binance management knows how to move before that time.
Besides, if they "comply", there will have "no problem"... Undecided

I have collateral posted for this loan. Please remove my negative feedback as the "rule" for collateral is not even a rule anyway it is just a suggestion that is why it says in the title of the "collateral thread" "IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK" - there is no actual forum rule stating that you have to provide collateral to receive a loan.

No, there isn't. For newbies though like yourself, with no history, no trade, or any kind of contribution here in the forum, collateral is mandatory. You don't really expect someone to just give you, a total stranger, money without any guaranty. As for your collateral, we still waiting to post pics, the list of your items, etc. Plus that it seems that you want to sell them and not getting them back and that's no collateral.

Looking for .02 for personal reasons. Payback will be .022 and likely much sooner than 30 days, but covering my ass just in case. Repayment will be 10% no matter if it takes 1 day or the whole 30 to repay. Anyone who feels comfy loaning this amount pm me or post here.

I can fill it as well. Let me know here or post in my thread. Thank you.
Hey thanks for the offer but magneto has filled the loan https://blockstream.info/tx/b0d17a8b0252e3711865fb818e9876c2d2a3e2e9a7bf44abbdcca5f9af84c489. Thanks to both of you for the offer and the loan.

No problem at all. Besides, first come (to fill), first served. Wink

It seems that the anger of Arsenal fans at Arteta desire to sign Ramdals as Leno back-up did not dampen Arsenal interest in signing the Sheffield goalkeeper, and Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Ramdale now for a fee of £24 million plus bonuses for a total of £30 million, according to I think this is quite a panic move for Arsenal in bringing in new players, especially in goalkeepers, because in my opinion Ramdale is not a good enough goalkeeper and is also sold at a fairly expensive price for a goalkeeper whose team was relegated from the Premier League last season.

It seems that Arsenal doesn't sign Ramsdale as a backup goalkeeper but as their main one. I agree that the price is overvalued but he isn't that bad and Arsenal is not Sheffield.
If he builds up a bit and works on his weaknesses (and I'm sure that Arsenal knows how to evolve players), he will be better. My concern about Arsenal is their defensive lineup and I think it's theirs too. Grin

1 - well so far we do everything with the broker, but let's say you have a friend selling a property, but you might want to get a better brokerage fee, so we can use our licensed broker partners. You cannot simply just buy a property without a broker. Cars you can buy from the seller directly. And agreements are also available.
2 - Exchanges with the company account. We normally receive crypto and issue a Manager's Cheque for our client (the buyer) that is then cleared in fiat. So seller receives fiat.
3 - this I cannot comment on, all transactions are reported in Dubai Land Department.
4 - agreements are available as well
5 - good luck exchanging crypto into a manager's cheque Smiley

I'm asking for feedback, if you have input on how to do it better, happy to learn more!

1- I don't know there if it's mandatory to use a broker but here, yes you can buy a property without a broker.
2- My question was in which exchange do you have an account.
3+ 4- Without any kind of solid proof, these are simple words in the air... Undecided
5- No need to. Besides, you can as you said so all good. Roll Eyes

Goodwin Lab is a project for Yield Farming in the BSC Network with the opportunity to earn the token that you have with a yield of more than 2000%.

more than 2000% Huh

I'm sorry but isn't this a big exaggeration? I mean even big name sites in this market offer lower APR although I admit that to this day I can't understand how this system works, I still think this is a ponzi scheme.

Big sites don't use Ponzi schemes to offer such an interest rate... And no need to think it much my friend, it's a Ponzi for sure! Grin Wink

Free Deposit 1 BNB!
To encourage users, we launched a free distribution of 1 BNB deposits, which brings each user 0.01 BNB per day for free and without investments.

is this really?

and if all people are using this free option how will this system be sustainable? people can withdraw every day using only this free option

I really doubt that this site/ project will let anyone withdraw on a daily basis. For sure they will have some "limit" to prevent withdraws and most likely, all of them.
752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Luno Exchange Phishing scam on: August 10, 2021, 05:36:51 PM
A friend of mine send me a SmS he received from his exchange or rather a fake (Luno.com)... stating the following...

"LunoBTC Trader: your LunoBTC account will be De-activated today - 10 August, if not verified on the 2021 API 2FA panel tap=> (Then it gives a link shortener Url) & verify now."

It re-directs to a fake page, where they want you to enter your KYC verification documents. Please do not fall for these phishing Sms's or emails... they just want to use those documents to steal your identity and to signup at other sites to commit fraud.

Be Safe out there.  Wink

I didn't use and I don't even know this exchange. It's good though to share that information to save anyone that might have an account there and prevent others from their phishing attempts.
Perhaps, you should move your topic to Service Discussion > Exchanges for better viewing. Cool
753  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto Real Estate on: August 09, 2021, 03:25:56 PM
Thanks for the speedy reply!

To answer your questions:

1 - I'm more of the middle man, but also work directly with developers (no brokerage needed, have good relationships). For the secondary market (older apartments from owners) we need to use a broker that represents a seller. So investment facilitation - take care of everything with or without brokerage firm.
2 - We prefer stable coins, but if you send any other crypto, we convert into a stable coin. We then issue a manager's cheque, so we act as an "escrow account". A business in UAE has fiat currency in a bank and we issue a cheque for the value of the property and this amount is then "frozen" on the bank account. It's like a regular check you would get from someone, you bring it to the bank, bank takes it and adds money to your account.
3 - The seller can also receive crypto. It's not very common here in UAE, thus many sellers still prefer fiat currency
4 - So we have businesses in UAE and this is where the manager's cheque is issued. We normally receive 5% deposit, issue a manager's cheque and show it to the buyer as a confirmation (could be a picture, video, over a video call, etc.). Then the buyer sends the full amount and we hand over the cheque to the buyer or entitled person that will bring to the property registration office
5 - If you buy directly from the developer - you have all the information from the developer about the property including the reservation, virtual tours, exposes, etc. For secondary market (owned apartments) there's always a broker who takes care of showing the apartment before purchase, either in-person or virtually.

hope this helps!

1- "With or without a brokerage firm". Do you understand the huge difference between with and without? Let's take the "without" path because if you can have a brokerage firm to cover you (and the investors/ sellers/ buyers), then you wouldn't post here. Relationships don't keep up with business, so without contracts and agreements on paper.
So in fact, you want to get the funds from both parties and run the show. And why does anyone just trusts you? Do you even know the commission that a broker wants?
2- Where will you convert them? In which exchange and under which name/ account? Why to converted in a "stable" coin and not in fiat asap? Issuing a cheque means that you own the account or you are linked with it. Because you mention regular cheque but you forget to mention that in order to get paid, the account must have the proper amount and to be clean. You will guaranty this? Because bank won't (and of course will not freeze anything). Btw, how the seller will get his money? You will give him USDT? Where will you exchange them?
3- But it's common there in UAE to receive money from an unknown and unregistered online seller who sells their properties without anything on hand?
4- Just lol! Who will verify that these doxs will be original? And under what licence you will collect personal info? In simpler words, who will "check" you out?
5- Same with 4. A virtual tour from an unknown, unregister, unlicensed wannabe guy... And the simple question is this: Why does someone uses you and not doing it by himself? After all, he will have to be there and he will know how to exchange his crypto! Cheesy

P.S: Of course SFR10 is right, you still don't answer about the holding safety of cryptos but actually, we don't need to get an answer for it. The whole "project" it stinks bs...
754  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto Real Estate on: August 09, 2021, 11:01:13 AM
Hello, community!

Thought will initiate a topic for real estate investments and get your feedback.

We are currently working on facilitating crypto investments in Dubai, UAE where we accept crypto (ideally stable coins, but all other cryptos as well) and issue a so-called - manager's cheque in fiat (like an escrow account). So the buyer can pay crypto and the seller receive fiat. This also works for cars, motorcycles, houses, planes, etc.

Should we concentrate on the optimization of the manager's cheque process? Or look into tokenization perspective right away (it's not regulated yet...).

Looking forward to your feedback and comments!

Donny from Dubai!

To start, can you make it a bit simpler? Some questions that might help.

1- What do you mean by facilitating investments? Do you work as a broker or a real estate agent? Or maybe as a middleman?
2- You accept crypto (all the others?!) for what and where will you store them?
3- Can the seller receive crypto as well?
4- How you will choose who will act as the escrow for such deals?
5- Any transparency to all of this? How can someone check if eg. the property or the car that wants to buy is the one that he sees and chooses?
755  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] 500$ PayPal [W] 480$ BTC on: August 07, 2021, 05:46:17 PM
will use my account as escrow and read to use bitcointalk escrow.

Sorry, but what do you mean by that? Your account here as an escrow (huh?) in a PayPal trade where there is no meaning for a bitcointalk escrow? Undecided

~snip~

Based on your trust rating (and an active flag), a couple of questions about this "site" of yours that will be helpful, at least for me.

1- These tokens and their price are made and set by you or I misunderstood something here? Undecided
2- You need investors for what exactly? To pay the people who will do the tasks that you will pay with these tokens?
3- Airdrops on their wallet or into their site account which belongs to you? Very big difference.
4- Which are those legit sites that you mentioned and how can someone be safe to even click on them? Do they pay you in these tokens or in fiat and you will just through some unpriced dust to the people that will do the job?

Does anyone know the current odds of PSG winning the CL now that Messi's on the brink of joining them?

Might be a good idea to take advantage of this market if it's still available (and bookies offer it at this time) before a deal is confirmed.

Wouldn't bookies consider that type of news anyway when it is publicly discussed that heavily? This is actually an interesting question so it would be good to know if someone knew both the odds from before the deal was discussed and now that it is publicly known Messi is talking to PSG.

Bookies don't change odds based on rumors or "talkings". It's well known that when (and if) these rumors being a fact, odds for PSG taking the CL will definitely change. I don't know how much and I don't believe that will change dramatically. However, bookies will know and it's more than sure that they will be prepared. After all, we are talking about Messi.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: August 07, 2021, 11:59:51 AM
Now the friendlies are starting to get interesting.
Last weekend West Ham beat Brentford 1-0, but in the two previous test matches they had scored a total of nine goals between Reading and Celtic. In the upcoming match with Atalanta I think we'll see an intense friendly: both teams want to get serious. The goals are likely to be at least three and I see the Hammers as favorites.

This is a friendly match between two strong teams that aim to make better things this new season and build up their automated strategies.  So I don't believe that the managers of both clubs care much if they win but mostly their players do what they are supposed to do, based on their commands. Plus that they are both will use a lot of players.
I won't bet who is going to win this match but I agree that the goals will be two or three or even more.

Thanks for your feedback! We're definitely considering the most entertaining competitions to be included. MLS, CSL, and Liga 1 have their fans and are growing, but, they are also stop-gaps in between the likes EPL or La Liga that, certainly, have the most amount of fans overall.

Thanks for playing!

Yeap, at last, one by one the most "entertaining" leagues start like Ligue 1. Last season was excited since Lille manage to take 1st place and win the championship. And our cards which earn more XFCs with such performance... Grin
Let's hope that this season things will be better for all, everywhere.
