741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbies on airdrop on: November 02, 2017, 05:58:42 AM
I hope some airdrops who doesn't include newbie because of too much spamming should rrconsider given the amount of hours it is logged in. Coz it shows it is the only account they have.
I have only seen some airdrops which do accept newbies on their airdrop campaign which it should really be excluded because it is really prone on abuse since people can easily create their own new account and would be used on abusing the airdrop. This is why most of them do make already the restrictions regarding on the ranks. You can only see small numbers of airdrop which do accept newbies.
742  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: bitcointalk.org everyone is invited on: November 01, 2017, 03:14:01 PM
Are you sure you mean popular? Cuz Alexa Ranking shows otherwise, it doesn't even have stats for the last few months, Also your website doesn't even get ranked in the global position. How are you expecting someone to invest 100 BTC on it? Are scammers are really getting this lame these days that they don't even put in the effort. If you say your website isn't a Scam then i have few questions for you.

1) What is the purpose of your website?
2) What are you offering to people who will invest?
3) If you don't have traffic now, how are you planning to get it?

If i don't get a valid answer by 24 hours i am marking your account.
Dont expect to get answers within the 24 hour period because OP did already forgot this shitty thread of him.Its just really an obvious scam attempt for me which those insane prices on the products been asked are horrible and no one would really pay up even 0.01 BTC  and how much more on 100 BTC? Are you freaking kidding me? hehe. Just like what you said scammers are really getting lame on these days.
743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: October 31, 2017, 02:46:18 PM
I am also disappointed when losing. But I'm not too sad. That's the rule. When you win, another will lose. The important thing is what you learn after that. Try your best, success will come!  Wink
Yes you are right, I am also disappointed when i lost and it happens at the beginning of trading, maybe because lack of knowledge and panic caused i lost my capital up to 50%, but no problem for me, it is a lesson for me for the future the same thing does not happen again

Sometimes its not only the knowledge because if you know how to make or to do a stratedgy you will not lose much or you will earn than you think. Im disappointed in my current coins ico coins which already dumps and until now there's no update on the projects.
This is the part where it already sucks when you do invest on a coin and suddenly turns out that theres no already updates regarding on the project and worries would really comes after next. Trading does really disappoint you when you dont know on what you are doing and you dont have any idea on what coins you are buying. The right thing is to buy low sell high but with lack of knowledge we do turn out to do the opposite thing. Buy high sell low.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: October 31, 2017, 01:06:37 PM
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.

I agree. It hurt my eyes when I see all of my altcoins that keeps on decreasing and I don't see that it might be able to keep up in the next months. I lost too much btc now so I think I just focus more on doing campaigns now on  because I see the bitcoin isn't over going up.
Just hold up bud because if you still hold of those coins and not being sold off that wont still be considered as loss. Just like mine all of my altcoin on my folio now is bleeding which is really normal if bitcoins price tends to go up.If you are already a long time bitcoin or crypto enthusiast you would really see this situation as a normal thing.Dont hate or regret on buying altcoins since those prices will eventually recover soon but depends on the coins you are holding though.
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Is Yesterday, Here Comes Bitcoin As A Reserve Currency on: October 29, 2017, 05:42:29 PM
Gold isn't a reserve currency, it's a store of value and a hedge against inflation.   It's also an investment asset.

Bitcoin is a speculative asset, and it sucks as a currency because of the fees and confirmation times.  I don't get all these threads that compare bitcoin to gold--they're two completely different things that happen to share some of the same attributes.  And there really aren't many.

Unless bitcoin's volatility goes down significantly, it'll never be a reserve currency, because it's not safe to keep any money in bitcoin, as opposed to something like the USD.  That's a good reserve currency because it's stable.  Bitcoin is anything but stable.
Bitcoin isn't solely a speculative asset. People speculate but that is beyond bitcoin's technology and only a fraction of the value it stores. Bitcoin is a mathematically proven store of value, the only reason it's so volatile right now is because the market is still tiny compared to the market cap of, let's say, the US dollar. But that doesn't make it a legitimate. If bitcoin reaches a trillion dollar market it will be less volatile than it is today.
Bitcoin is a mathematically proven store of value? No its not. Even though it would reach trillion dollar market it doesnt mean it will still able to patch up anything. Gold will still remain no matter what and i dont see that bitcoin as a reserve currency.Assurance isnt their because price is too volatile and does depend on adoption or investor to bitcoin but yet it is somehow good for investment purposes and its benefits on new way payment system.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: October 29, 2017, 04:34:42 PM
But the fair answer is yes - you should be picky - there are hundreds of ICOs and it is hard to make right choices
Investors should be picky when investing in something that they want to make money on because they should be wanting to make as much money as possible.

As an investor we do really have concern on our money that we would tend to put on a certain investment. As a sensible one we do normally search up things related on a certain project if it would be a potential or good choice to invest on or not. The thing would really be hard is on selecting which one of them because there are lots of ICO now and choosing would really be a tough job.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship between Bitcoin and The Moon on: October 29, 2017, 03:14:09 PM
Where is the moon for you?

I would really like to get some responses from long time HODLers of BTC.

If you bought BTC @ $200, are we at the moon yet?

What if you got in at $20?

Where is the moon that everyone is waiting for?
Moon? Its endless because people wont really be able to satisfy theirselves as long they would able to know that theres still potential for the price to rise up even more. If we did already hit peak prices we do ask even for more which that moon cant really be reach up.It would depend on a certain person on what price point would be the moon range but i would tell you most people would really be greedy enough to ask for more. Wink
748  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: October 27, 2017, 08:57:11 AM
if I get 1 btc sure some coins will be taken and still have to be left to hold because the current price has reached the limit in my opinion, making it possible that in the next few years the price will also increase continuously and the profits earned also can satisfy the heart .
If you have 1 bitcoin and you received a gift from someone then the best thing to do with that is to diversify it and invest some bitcoins in altcoins that are promising in the long term and where you can get the possible big profits that will give you more bitcoin and the rest of your bitcoin will be putted in safe wallet so you can have a back up if your investment will gone wrong.
No other crypto is more promising and profitable as compare to the bitcoin and if one receive bitcoin as gift then there is a lot of room for that person to earn a lot because bitcoin is the most profitable coin of this time and I wish that I would receive a bitcoin as gift so that I can earn more and use it wherever I want to as this trend will be going to start there will be progress in bitcoin community and profit.
If the people you have given those 1 bitcoin do have the knowledge of bitcoin then he will surely appreciate that stuff since he does know its capability and potential when it comes on future use and future possible income but yet if the person doesnt know everything then expect he would definitely cash it out directly knowing that 1 bitcoin is almost $6k as of now and thats still a good amount of money.IMHO
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does private key compromise a wallet? on: October 26, 2017, 03:31:44 PM
Forgive me for my poor understanding and allow me what is probably a stupid question.

The private key methodology seems to me to be highly dependent on a a very large pool of random numbers for which it is assumed that there can be no collisions (i.e. the probability of 2 or more people having the same private key is as good as impossible (not impossible, just very low possibility)

Doesn't this mean that a crypto (coin, token) can be the victim of its own success because when more people have wallets for that crypto, the probability of guessing a legitimate private key increases?

Just for example,  let's say that I have a 1 in 1000000 chance of guessing correctly for 1 wallet user. If there are 2 wallet users, my chances have doubled to 1 in 500000. If there are 4, my chances now are 1 in 250000.

For this example, if the crypto is popular and gets 500000 wallet users, I have a 50 percent chance of randomly guessing a private key!

I'm probably getting something wrong somewhere, so I'm hoping someone could help.
Collision could really happen but if you do look up on the on how many units do have a certain wallet then it would really takes time for the users to have the same keys with other thinking off even on just capitalization of a certain Letter would already make the differences which we can really presume chances would really be small.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: October 25, 2017, 07:11:09 PM
It is widely used as an asset than a currency given its great price appreciation over the years. But still there people who believes in the great increase in the price of bitcoin given its price as of today which gives a better look that bitcoin is considered as an asset than a currency.
When we are just basing on price increase then most people would really see this stuff as an asset which even myself do see this thing too rather than on currency.I would really strongly believe the ratio of people do treat bitcoin as an asset would really be high than on those who do said on currency thing but yet if bitcoin would even more to be considered then sooner or later it would really comes to a point that it would be always used.
751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 25, 2017, 06:11:01 PM
In my opinion by investing all savings in cryptocurrency no good idea, I think maximum 80% of all savings and other 20% keep on fiat. Because we need to keep Fiat for urgent needed, and when this happen and the price of cryptocurrency down then we should be  withdraw it. So that we are in loss. In my research good coin for longterm investment  is BTC, ETH,WAVES and DASH by portofolio 50% BTC and other 50% for those altcoin.
I think you should divide it into three parts, the first part is for your investment this is the half of your saving or 50%,but make sure pick the best cryptocurrency to invest second is for your saving make it 30%, and for the third for your emergency need and make it 20%
It should be like this.

50% - BTC investments
30% - Savings
20% - Emergency

I think the 'savings' and 'emergency' is just the same because somehow when you have a savings you can easily use it in times when there's an emergency. How about it if we change that 'emergency' into their daily basic needs. I know there were times that we are out of budget in food because we do eat a lot and you'll never know when will you gonna use it. It's better safe than sorry, once you've run out of money. Where would you run to? Especially if you are living alone you might wanna save some extra grand for your safety.
Even on 50% partitioning on BTC investment would really be still risky just like what others saying here.Always prioritize first the things that are essential on our daily living and as you said it better to save up than sorry later on when somethings happen unexpectedly. We cant be sure if theres someone would able to help up when it comes on financial matter. Its always being suggested to play safe and only risk the amounts on bitcoin investment on small percentage.Dont trust too much.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: October 25, 2017, 05:07:23 PM
Funny how I get my first hint for investing  Grin

The market is just started, so much possibilities ..
The market is really going mate with a whole lot of new opportunities springing up each and every day.
It is an interesting market and it you can make your research pretty good, then you can invest into the right coin, with good team and a very realistic project. I see cryptocurrency in a way that each sector will be driven by a particular crypto in the long run.
This is correct,If we do try to see altcoin announcement section there are almost new projects do pop out on daily basis which we can see that theres really a trend on crpytocurrency which there is really an interest specially to those altcoins in the market which we can really presume that this would somehow sustain for longer runs.Future would be good on this one.
753  Economy / Economics / Re: BlackRock Chief: Bitcoin is a Bubble on: October 24, 2017, 10:45:45 PM
I'm one of the thinkers that thinks that a correction is imminent, if you look at the price increases it's like a straight line UP. We haven't had much of a hard time cruising to the area of 6000, which is a land where people thought we could never go. Plus, it's not like more and more people are actually using Bitcoin anyway, it's that more and more people are TRADING Bitcoin in the hopes that they're going to get RICH fast.

Sadly they're going to see that a correction is coming, and who knows if it's going to be a large correction but it will come at some point. That's when Bitcoin will stabilize and stay at a price, and then and only then can Bitcoin be an accepted currency.
I agree with you bitcoin has grown too strong in past few days. A correction is surely coming and most probably just after the hardfork of btg. May be people are selling all the alts to buy btc which has taken price so high. Lets see what happens after the fork.
I do already somehow anticipated on what would be the possible things to happen later on or on this upcoming few days after the fork. If we can able to see sudden price increase then expect there would really be a similar thing to happen when it comes to price decrease. Its just like that and onto those words being said on OP.Every people can say on whats their own view on bitcoin but yet as long we people or users are making money then it should be fine.
754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dips Below $5,800, While Ethereum Recovers Beyond $300 on: October 24, 2017, 10:20:26 PM
I seriously believe that there  is going to be a serious really after the hardfork and the splitting that is going to follow after. Ethereum, ripple, bch and litecoin has going over 6% today while bitcoin is around  $5,515 at https://coinmarketcap.com. However I do believe that bitcoin is having short term corrections and before the end of this week bitcoin may bance back round above  $6,000 again. Bitcoin gold has also be listed at yobit exchange and traders are dumping it at the moment and I believe that the funds are flowing back to the altcoins market.
On the recent price of bitcoin as of this writing we did able to see already it did just reach down again on $5400+ and i do somehow expect for this thing to happen and even more worse it can go more lower but yet i do see a strong support level on $5200 price which i believe we wont able to break out that support and bounce up again and hitting that 6k range.Lets say how btc price would react after the fork.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've just been hacked!! :-( on: October 24, 2017, 09:44:24 PM
I feel sorry for you, they just ransacked all of your bitcoins, do you make a reports in the block chain if they can return it? but I think you can not recover any of the move coins but at least you had made a report on every transactions that have been made, just be careful next time and I think you need to change all your password or save your private key more properly.
Even he would tend to send support ticket on blockchain. They would really just neglect such thing  and they wont really able to reverse and transactions and make those funds back for sure.Knowing and trying out in the past that their support doesnt even care to reply you back when theres an issue happen to their wallet service. For OP,sad to hear out for your loss and theres no way you can get those coins back.Just moved on.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do altcoin bounties crash the price? on: October 24, 2017, 09:07:29 PM
Well it depends

As most of the ICO took out 1% of raised fund towards bounty, IMO this is good because 1% would perhaps affect a bit but wont "Crash" the price Smiley
This thing i would supposed to say too which the bounty allocation is just 1% which it can really affect the price if all bounty haunters would decide their tokens. If you are an investor of a certain ICO you would really got worried but eventually theres really always a point on where a certain coin do hype up for one time which would definitely surpass on ICO price and as an investor you should really keep an eye on this opportunity for you to sell out and secure profits.
757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 24, 2017, 08:24:23 PM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
Good diversification and i like the selection of the coin which is actually capable for long term runs but a friendly suggestion better to always secure funds for emergency purposes which arent really related to investment.Just for emergency since we wont really know on when those times we do urgently need of money and if we did completely invest it we would really have a hard time on finding money for sure since you are holding it for long term.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best authentic and value for money ICO? on: October 23, 2017, 09:13:27 PM
Hi Members,

Everyday ICOs are coming and now chances are there to get scammed by them. Please share authentic and value for money  ICO based on your research and experience.
There would really be lots of suggestions for sure since people would really have their own recommendation this is why the best thing to do now is to search by yourself on what ICO or project you would tend to put your money on.Theres are lots of ICO to choose from and you are right chances on getting scammed would really be high unlike on previous years which ICO are profitable to invest on.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 23, 2017, 08:06:11 PM
this is bad for bitcoin makes people not want to plant stocks in to bitcoin , I never buy drugs with bitcoin because appreciate the good image of bitcoin ,and bitcoin created not to buy such a drug
People do have different mind which means we do have different decisions on using things like on bitcoin. We would definitely say that we will not use bitcoin on bad stuff but there are people who would really do such thing specially to those who have criminal minds.Buying drugs with bitcoin did really exist long time before even it was just starting up knowing that this is a usual stuff on dark or deep web.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like $6000 is just another pump and dump on: October 23, 2017, 07:03:08 PM
No, it is not just another pump and dump. Bitcoin is now strong enough to avoid these things. it is because people are very fascinated in what bitcoin can do and somehow, they can receive free coin from bitcoin, too. That is why people are buying bitcoin. Then, they will sell all of their bitcoin for profit. What a ridiculous world
Yes bitcoin prices are currently very stable and very strong to avoid the things that can make the price of corrected bitcoin. dump and pump is a very natural thing in the world of cryptocurrency, now also the state of bitcoin prices seems to have started to keep the lower limit, I see that bitcoin is very comfortable once in the price range 6000 $. This has to be maintained and I even expect the bitcoin price to be much higher than it is today. the opportunity is wide open and I feel that this is a thing worth waiting for many people. Bitcoin prices will again showed positive rhythm and we should make the best use possible.

Their will be a pump and dump in the price of bitcoin in the world of cryptocurrency, now the price of the bitcoin achieve the stable Rates. Many are saying, the price of bitcoin will increases till fork and after that the price will reduce some how and settle at a certain price. If this happen so,the price will be stable at 6000$ .At this year end the price will ,the price of bitcoin will reach the value of 7000$ You can see 10k$ in 2018.
We would eventually reach out those prices but wont really be on this year. Adoption would really takes place  and these kind of pump and dump groups or people would really be new after all on this trading world. For now we did able to reach out $6k price but talking about 7k isnt really already possible at all. We can able to say such thing on where bitcoin is just like a usual stuff like on other altcoins.
