741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth buying NEO now? on: August 08, 2017, 04:35:55 PM
If the project has potential and good plus the value of this coin is still low then go buy it. Just make sure it has a great project wherein you can tell it will be one successful one and not a sham, then this coin is worth investing.
742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint will reach 4.000$ or not? on: August 08, 2017, 03:30:08 PM
Whether you posted a photo or not bitcoin will still continue to rise and it will reach $4k before this year ends so it has really has nothing to do with anyone posting their photo because the whales are the ones responsible increasing the value of bitcoin and other coins.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: August 07, 2017, 01:11:27 PM
Investing in bitcoin today is still not too late to become a millionaire a few years from now, let's say you invest in like 5btc today; in 5-10 years that amount for sure will at least double up.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to sell ETH on: August 07, 2017, 09:08:39 AM
I really think it is not a good choice to sell your Ethereum now, if I were you I'd save or hold on to those coins because it may be dumping now because btc is increasing but after segwit will lock in then there is a possibility all the altcoins will increase too.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The real crash starts after Aug 1st on: July 28, 2017, 01:55:26 PM
This is what is happening right now because of BTC/BCC FUD:

1. The rich already have enough supply of BTC. The rich also have initiated the dump of altcoins and is pumping BTC to make the herd think that the herd will "profit" from the BTC/BCC split. Herd thinks - Hey, who doesn't want to have another clone coin that may rise in value? Logical isn't it?
2. The herd follows by dumping their positions in altcoins to join the BTC/BCC split bandwagon. The rich are picking up the dumped altcoins as we speak. The herd already took a loss in the alt coin conversion to BTC.
3. Come August 1, the price of legacy BTC will split with the price of BCC. This is what happens if there is a stock split, whatever the value of the stock is, it goes down relative to the split or stock dividend. Probably BTC=1900-2300, BCC = 400-800.
4. Both BTC and BCC will be dumped by the rich again and will again pump the altcoins. The herd panics and sells both their BTC and BCC, again at a loss, then goes into altcoins. The rich will pick it up again BTC & BCC or support only one to confuse the market.
5. Once the altcoins have gone up, rich dumps again, the herd panics and sells again. Off to another cycle. Herd will lose 50-80% of their holdings from step 1. Rich gain 200% or more.

Nearly a 100% match on my thoughts.

Preparing to buy altcoins right after the August 1st

Actually, you should be buying Altcoins and dumping BTC NOW! Altcoins are 20-40% off ON SALE at the moment!!!

nah. It should be the opposite. Dump your altcoins and buy bitcoin. Hold bitcoin to receive free bitcoin cash. After receiving free tokens then that's the time you should buy those very cheap altcoins again. Now that is a win-win situation.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who use Litecoin for gambling here? on: July 25, 2017, 01:57:12 PM
I tried before although it was not really that big of an amount. Litecoin is faster and with cheaper fees so why not. Wish more and more casinos accepting litecoins soon.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 24, 2017, 06:29:40 PM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM

I'm only limiting myself on a certain amount as before I can't control myself but when things was clearer to me about gambling, then I was able to make an initiative that I need to be aware of the danger and I can do whatever I want. But I choose to limit myself because if I won't limit myself at all, I'm going to lose most of my fund.

Setting the limit on the certain amount of money for gambling is good idea to  avoid big amount of your fund to lose. Gambling is about winning or losing your money depends on your luck.
You have fun in every winning of the game so when time that you lose your emotion changes and you want to have it again. Without limitations, you cannot notice that lost lot of your fund.

Exactly. I can remember before when I was a bit drunk and kept on losing. Instead of going home to chill I kept on withdrawing some funds. I only figured out the next day that I blown nearly all the balance of my account. Now I am very careful. I already set the maximum amount to be played before visiting a casino.
748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: July 23, 2017, 11:52:23 AM
Hmm. Nearly a year since thread started. I wonder how much btc this guy earned now. That would depend on his investment volume of course. I started to focus on crypto trading just nearly the same date this thread started and I can say I gained at least x30. I am still far from earning 100 btc. But still hopeful and I can make it maybe next year.  Grin
749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are all down, so how do traders make their earnings? on: July 21, 2017, 09:30:01 AM
Hi still a newbie trader here. Just want to know. If All altcoins are down since last few weeks. How do traders maker their earnings during this bitcoin correction / retracement. All my polo coins are bought while Bitcoin is 2900usd in the past few months. Now I am HODLing like forever Sad All my coins are in bloody red, I have negative -20%  to -30% profit. Please suggest something.

You will learn more soon. It is not necessary that all new traders have to experience it all so it is better to equip ourselves with knowledge. Last year this is the same situation, most in the crypto market went down too. Ghost month is coming and Segwit drama is not yet over. Trade with caution in a bear market.
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now... or on July 31st? on: July 18, 2017, 04:20:35 PM
Most people are just focusing on August 1 when it is actually July 21 the date when Segwit2x is going to be released and as agreed during the New York gathering those people should be running it. Buy bitcoin now or simultaneously.
751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where would you invest $100? on: July 16, 2017, 11:40:25 AM
If you are too noob to crypto currency I suggest you visit coinmarketcap.com and start to read some of the coins there. It is difficult to pick because nearly every coin now is dropping and is on a heavy sale. I like SC, DGB and maybe more. But you have to understand that market may fall deeper reason why you have to understand its fundamentals at the very least.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 15, 2017, 08:25:11 AM
The New York Knicks put the Carmelo Anthony trade talks on hold for now.

It's clear now that chances Melo will be played on other team next season is possible or that paused trade talks will reconsider Melo to stay at the team . The closest team on the rumor that Melo could be transfer is the Houston Rockets. Sounds like a big 3 will be formed- Chris Paul - James Harden - Carmelo Anthony. Really a BIG isn't it but I don't see any threat from them especially Melo and Harden. Both are ball hogger and have an attitude of sole playmaking. Anyway, here comes again the CHEMISTRY thing and if that blockbuster transfer will happened, hope they can blend the chemistry properly.
Melo needs to change his attitude in the game, he paired up before with one of the best point guard which Allen Iverson but it did not work out well, I think those time are the only closest of the glory days of Melo and after that I did not see anything more interesting about him.
Both Harden and Paul are play makers but when paying in one team, they need to step up on the rule that is task for them to do.

Melo will never ever win a single crown until he change himself. He will only bring destruction to Houston. Chris Paul is a good play-maker and James Harden is some sort of a one-man team guy buy he knows his game and can distribute the ball too. If I were Houston I would rather spend money on bench players or hire some big guys.
753  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling ideas on: July 14, 2017, 09:26:28 AM
I think you should present what you think is a good idea to someone you know personally. Someone or group of people or maybe even a business group that you think can help you bring it that idea into realization.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 13, 2017, 05:23:19 PM
Before I had lots of funny superstitions when betting especially dice and other online casino games. Now sometimes I still do but not like before. But I know superstitions aren't true.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 12, 2017, 06:31:42 PM
Yes I agree there are times you'll get lost in gambling depending also on which game you play. Sports betting might help you out getting more wins than losing only if you know the type of sports you're really good at. Just control your bets only if the game you are really familiar with.

Are you sure about what you are typing? do you even know that the chances to win in sportsbetting is actually lower than most game in a casino? some people might not want to accept this but it is a fact. The house edge of sportsbetting is actually quite high that there will be alot more loser than winner
i think a lot of people still don't know about how sportsbetting has the higher odds compared to a games like dice where the house edge fixed to 1% or even lower. and sports betting edge itself average around 5% or so! mathematically you would expect to have bigger chance to win in the long run through dice rather than through sports betting , but there is a skill to analyze certain event based on data and statistics that what people believe could change the edge down to 1% or so.

This is really true. In my favorite games and events I can see the odds are sometimes too wide that you can just take a pass as the rewards are not be worth it. Sports betting have higher house edge than casino games but still when you have a very good knowledge on the sport or the players then you are most probably being more confident of a win.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 12, 2017, 06:16:05 PM
The best thing to do is when it is already doubled you will withdraw your capital. Continue to play your gain if you are still entertained because it is all free already. It takes a lot of discipline to follow this.  Grin
757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will happen after SEGWIT? on: July 10, 2017, 06:30:10 PM
July 21 is the starting date that those miners who agreed on segwit will activate right? If segwit starts then bitcoin will pump and hopefully most altcoins won't get affected much. If segwit fails to activate then split is possible? Just like what happened early this year during the BU crisis altcoins went sky rocketing.
758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: July 09, 2017, 07:55:41 PM
Just as what I observe although not as always. When bitcoin goes up alts goes red and when btc goes down those alts going green. Before I started trading I was also trying to wait for bitcoin to come down but then my brother told me that for as long as I saw a good coin to enter then I should grab the opportunity rather than depend on bitcoin price.
759  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Liqui won't send my funds on: July 08, 2017, 06:33:35 PM
I also have two experiences with Liqui. It was addressed but it took around 1 to 2 weeks before they did it. What I also don't like is the way they are not responding to my ticket (I think some they did respond). Ignoring and not responding to complains is annoying and worrisome.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 07, 2017, 02:04:31 PM
There is nothing wrong with gambling for as long as we are responsible enough. It's a sort of entertainment to relieve stress. Crypto gambling is better as it is provable fair and house edge are too low.
