I think it's a good ideea that newbies who want to participate in actions to deposit at least 0.1 btc in escrow for the winner if he doesn't respect his own terms. This way we will have a lot less scams attempts and a lot less wasted time for legit users.

Am postat unde am postat pentru ca am postat. Ma poate ajuta cineva sau nu?  Multam fain pentru primire.

Ei lasa, nu te imbufna acum, noi mai si glumim, de ce esti asa irascibil? Smiley
Ca sa iti treaca supararea, asa in fuga m'am uitat la moneda asta si as putea sa spun urmatoarele:

Unbelievable that 15BTC worth of shares have been sold so far

The stupidity of human kind never ceases to amaze me

It may be havelock based on some agreement with OP that purchased most of them to give this IPO a bump. It may be the OP himself that purchased some shares to create the   fake volume.

The most secure way to gain from having bitcoins, with no risk at all is to lend them on bitfinex.com.
Use the code 5l4wLVc4LW when making a new account for a 10% discount on all fees.
Do you have a guide on the lending process? The website is confusing with all the investing jargon.

It is impossible to not have any risk if you are lending.

You are paying 15% of your interest for insurance of the funds, so it's not imposible.

Your statement is not correct.

You are implying that you are purchasing insurance against the default of the borrower, but even this is not risk free, you are only mitigating the risk.

The borrower can't default. He can't take take your bitcoins or fiat and leave. He is just using it for margin trading and he will get his position close when he is aproaching the margin limit. The insurance is in case of a sudden spike or drop in the price and the platform could not react in time to close his position so it will cover the eventual loss.

What if the exchange goes under and/or if the price of bitcoin moves too fast for the exchange to automatically close the position?

The risk with the exchange going under it's a risk you are taking with every exchange and service related to bitcoin. If the price moves to fast and the exchange can't close the position on time then it will cover for the loss.

Be weary when buying.

User PM'd me saying bidding was going slow and my 0.8 bid was the winner.

And sent his bitcoin address and told me to send money.

Pretty sure he's trying to scam. Use Escrow.

Are you sure it was the OP?
It is a comon scam on btctalk to make new account similars to OP auctions users and send PM's asking for money.

770  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: June 17, 2014, 12:35:29 AM
Risk assessment most likely? If your trading servers are somewhere where "they" have strong leverage to shut the servers down, your HK company won't help.

Not in the US and not in Hong Kong.
They are in a safe place.

Have a good day

Hi Giancarlo

I have a question.

I just put my BTCs as SWAP provided with the function "Auto-Renew" and I accidentally left "30 days" as default option.
I just wanted to try out the feature, are my BTCs now "trapped" in SWAP provided for 30 days?
How does it work? I just deactivated the "Auto-renew" function. Does it mean that when the user/users who is borrowing my BTC to short closes his position I can have my BTC back and use them for margin trading or withdrawal (before the 30 day period)? How can I access my BTCs without having to now wait for 30 days?

Thanks.

If the person that borrowed your btc keep the contract for 30 days and if he's not closed because of the margin there is no way to get it back.

After you get use to it it's quite simple. On the total return swaps (the lending part of the site) you select usd, btc or ltc and go to Offer swap. There you set the period in days, the rate you want to lend funds for (in precentages per day) and the amount you are offering and then click offer swaps to post your offer.
It's useful to use the autorenew function too, witch automaticly post your offer with your terms. You also have the Flash Return Rate (if you press options) witch is a variable interest rate based on the demand and offer. This would be the basics you need to know to get started.
Also you have three wallets, coresponding with the three sections of the site, so first you need to transfer funds in the coresponding wallet. For the lending part the wallet is "deposit". For transfering funds between wallets you go to "Manage Wallets".

Double your BTC.

By using an exploit  I am able to offer double the investment of bit coins to anyone.

The entire process can take upto 4 hours and we do maximum 3 transactions a day to keep up our anonymity.

The mini amt of investment is .14btc
The returns is .28 BTC.
Total amount of time taken = 4 hours.

Unfortunately I cannot reveal the exploit or any details as this just makes it more viable for it to get discovered.

Yes you will have to take my word for it !

If you think this is a scam I suggest u ignore this post. Almost everything now days is a ponzi scheme or a scam.

Maybe we can get some positive feedback from members going later on

Pm me if interested.

Cheers

776  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for 5 investors for super RIG!. can also Host your rigs and more! on: June 15, 2014, 10:09:17 PM
Wait wait wait
So you're buying a 1TH/s miner at $2,000 American.

Profitability calculator says you can pay it off (Maybe), with $0 spent anywhere on electricity, you can pay it off in about two and a half years.

At 0.06/kWh, it'll take over a year to get an ROI. And then your profitability starts decreasing.

So are you really pushing for this still?

yes i am. i have my belives the BTC will rise in value.

You're kidding me. Whatever, all of the red flags and errors aside. Not even going to comment on that. What's your business plan?
Agreed. This is nuts.

So, how will you convince investors? I really think you're super optimistic in this scenario. You make about 3BTC (at best) per year, but on year 2, at .1% mining profitability loss, you start losing BTC.

And people will invest in this why? Apparently you want to hold until BTC increases in value, so you can pay off your equipment. When will the investors get their part of it? You're holding about 4BTC(At $598) in wait to have it go up?

Do you know how long it takes for something to change dramatically? The rise to $1200 was because of bots with millions of dollars behind them.

Due to it being about $2400 per Terrahash, and you wanna get 7-15 (7 for this calculation), you will need $16,800. If each investor gives you $300, you need 56 investors to get all the funds. Each investor will expect a large part of the coins mined, and you will HAVE to take off large fees to make enough to pay it off within 5 YEARS. People don't invest to carry you and have them pay for your stuff. They want their money. You taking all the mined coins and holding till they increase will make people unhappy very quickly, regardless how much you say it will go up in value.

It's also about 8 investors to a single miner. 1 BTC every third of a year means 0.125BTC per investor every 4 months. If you take the 0.005 off as fees, you get 0.04 BTC every 4 months, or the equivalent of $22.80 USD. This turns into $68.40/year in fees you can maybe take.

So what IS your plan?

His plan is simple: he is hopping that him, his two broders and a friend find some more brothers and some more friends.
