761  Economy / Services / Re: LetItRide Signature campaign. (FULL) on: July 02, 2016, 07:05:05 AM
When can we expect to get paid?
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I keep my BTC during the halving? on: June 30, 2016, 04:37:07 PM
You should as a matter of principle keep the bulk of your holding in cold storage. The last time we had a serious run-up, we lost MtGox. We could see another exchange go down in this bull run. Be cautious.
763  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: June 29, 2016, 04:24:28 PM
I have never believed more in BTC and its future than I do now. The recent upheavals including Venezuela, China debt, Brexit have only confirmed my belief that BTC is unstoppable
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will see 10$ and above 2016 on: June 29, 2016, 09:07:32 AM
What always bothers me about LTC is that I am unable to figure out what would drive price rises in a primary sense? LTC always seems to go up in line with BTC but seems to lack primary drivers
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Counterparty will make a killing. on: June 29, 2016, 05:20:23 AM
I respect the Counterparty project and the folks behind it, but there has been no really uplifting news from that camp for months now, no?
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help with Bitcoin Trading Websites! on: June 29, 2016, 04:10:39 AM
I use shapeshift to move small alt positions around. I have used Poloniex before with good experiences. Have heard good things about Bittrex. Never used Yobit to trade, so not sure how good they are
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massive capital injections into Bitcoin are (eventually) good for other crypto. on: June 28, 2016, 10:47:20 AM
I agree, much of the value seeking altcoin alpha is actually BTC (or more recently Ether) gains looking to diversify to other sources of profit. This is good for the ecosystem and a further run-up post halving augurs well for price performance of solid alts like Zcash that are coming on stream later this year
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE / LITE Coins exchange to BTC on: June 28, 2016, 06:22:07 AM
I use shapeshift.io to efficiently move small amounts of alts into BTC without any hassle. Poloniex and Bittrex are also decent if you are comfortable with some degree of centralisation
769  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 28, 2016, 06:10:19 AM
I expect BTC to hit 4 digits sometime before the end of the year and to be honest would expect 2017 to be an overall good year though maybe more of a consolidation year in price terms ($1000-1500 range) with some vol
770  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: June 28, 2016, 04:59:46 AM
My guess is that we are largely looking at tech-savvy millenials, so 21 to 35 would be my intuition. I myself fit into that range.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: June 27, 2016, 07:50:40 PM
A couple of years ago, I received 0.3BTC out of the blue that to the best of my knowledge nobody owed me  Cheesy. It's still sitting in the same wallet!
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next $1 Billion Blockchain? on: June 27, 2016, 11:13:28 AM
My intuition tells me it is either going to be Lisk or Zcash when it finally releases
773  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: June 27, 2016, 06:32:27 AM
I focus more on earning well in the fiat world so I have the resources to add to my BTC. Given scarcity of high RoI BTC earning opportunities, that has always seemed smarter strategy
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As Global Currencies Plunge Over Brexit, Investors Turn to Bitcoin on: June 26, 2016, 03:59:34 AM
I think it's premature to ascribe the safe haven moniker to BTC. Even after Brexit, the price only shot up 7% which is miniscule relative to total flow of capital into safe assets. Long way to go yet.
775  Local / India / Re: RBI to study Blockchain technology to curtail paper currency on: June 25, 2016, 05:10:31 PM
This is encouraging news, but it would be great if the Indian government could finally end the legal ambiguity around BTC and how it will be taxed as well. Blockchain tech minus BTC is such a fad now!
776  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Post-halving - Will miners still operate? on: June 25, 2016, 05:03:10 PM
Why on earth would miners stop supporting the network given the recent positive price action? I predict that difficulty will temporaily fall but recover pretty fast
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LONG TERM BITCOIN BUYERS on: June 25, 2016, 03:48:48 PM
Long-term as far as I am concerned would be at least until ~2024 or two more halvings after this one. That would also be ~ 15 years from the genesis block
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 09:51:01 AM
Add up declared number of wallet downloads/holders on Circle, Coinbase and Blockchain and divide by 2. That , in my view, gives you a fairly fair picture ~ 7mn currently
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be ethereum price in 2 years from now ? on: June 24, 2016, 04:36:06 PM
I think Ether will settle at around ~ 0.02 to 0.025 BTC provided there are no negative supply shocks in 2017 when Casper goes live
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What prevents one large player from buying up most coins? on: June 24, 2016, 04:29:33 PM
There is just no way to accumulate that kind of size off exchanges without moving the price significantly, and that's going to get even more pronounced after the halving kicks in.
