761  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I put money in my Bitcoin wallet? on: December 20, 2018, 09:06:44 PM
You can not put money into a bitcoin wallet you have to first use your money to purchase bitcoin value of the amount you have And then save it in your wallet you can get bitcoin from exchanges and putting your bitcoin wallet address where you bought bitcoin would be transfered
762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Centralized v/s Decentralized on: December 20, 2018, 09:03:34 PM
Well simplified version is that there is a middle man in centralization and there is no middle man in decentralized is free from any form of third party involvement
763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty campaigns on: December 20, 2018, 08:58:58 PM
Well trust is not something some one says it's earned I can come here and suggest a bounty campaign because I am involved and tell you I trust if when I don't have fact so that won't be considered as a trusted campaign do the research yourself so as to not blame anyone if things goes wrong
764  Other / Meta / Re: ETFbitcoin's merit source application on: December 17, 2018, 06:44:06 PM
I might not be a technical person myself but I must say I was interested in you wanting to encourage your local board that is quite selfless of you I think some local board are lacking behind in terms of merit allocation as to compare with the English board.
I hope your application is well looked into in as much as you do not have a positive trust I am glad you don't have a negative trust either.
Well wish you luck
765  Other / Meta / Re: Is this thread operating within the board rules?? on: December 17, 2018, 06:29:10 PM
Well is very simple you can just look down at the right hand side you would find a report to moderator button and make use of it when ever you fill the post is going against the rule.
The forum can't  possibly stop people from posting what they like in any thread that is why they move or delete it when ever the post is found inappropriate for the board or section. I don't think it's much of an issue
766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie chart analysis over past 1 Year (bitcoins) on: December 17, 2018, 06:21:09 PM
Well if there is one thing the OP needs to learn urgently is to avoid unnecessarily several line spacing in his post it makes your work look informal. Like you have been told from previous reply analysis, prediction can be incorrect and can also be misleading
767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somebody sended me weird MMS.I think that person wanted to hack me!! on: December 16, 2018, 06:11:32 PM
Move the thread to your local board or probably improve on your English.

Besides its a good thing you discovered the intentions of the person before hands so I would really want to know what your issue is again
768  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving 4 Newbie Members a Chance to Rank Up To J. Member on: December 16, 2018, 06:08:57 PM
It's best you advice them to continue contributing positively to the forum definitely they won't be overlooked we has credible merit sources around and also members do give away merit once in a while.

Let's not make merit an obsession but make it something that can be achieved with hard work and patience
.
769  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clarifying rank rules on: December 14, 2018, 06:50:00 PM

OP if you stick to this advice you won't go wrong I haven't personally be bothered about how activities are gotten rather channeling that energy to contributing to this forum

The activity movement is automated so once you have reached the stage to rise you automatically rise in activities but you can't rise in rank with activities alone rather you must meet the merit requirements also for every stage
770  Other / Meta / Re: about ETH address posting in thread on: December 14, 2018, 06:41:08 PM
The name bitcointalk means bitcoin discussion is paramount but with the huge number of members in the forum and most are involved in cryptocurrency as whole not just bitcoin alone it's just normal for altcoin(other coin apart from bitcoin) can also be discussed even discussion outside cryptocurrency are also touched example the politics and help section
771  Other / Meta / Re: Could we stop having ban appeal topics? on: December 14, 2018, 02:13:37 PM
Appeal is very much acceptable in the forum it to a great extent upholds transparency and genuineness.

Some members that get banned don't get reason to why they where ban except they appeal and some time appealing to the email used to send the ban message may take to get a reply.

I think it's alone the fair thing to do to allow appeal it really does not hurt any one
772  Other / Meta / Re: Am I allowed to copy/paste my own message to warn people for a scam? on: December 14, 2018, 02:07:48 PM
Copy and pasting is certainly against the rule that by now is known. But copying and pasting your own message is not my knowledge not a crime

But rather than doing it wouldn't it be a better option to just quoting yourself
773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 14, 2018, 10:00:46 AM
Well am I the only one that's knows that Santa clause always arrive late.

Well the yuletide season is already on us and still no improvement in the price of bitcoin.

But is still not yet Christmas so let just exercise more patience and see how things plays out
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: December 14, 2018, 09:56:34 AM
Bitcoin is already a currency but in this case it is not just an ordinary currency it's a cryptocurrency which also mean it's a form of digital currency.

And digital can be regarded as electronic form which it can be in physical notes like other currency.

775  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP] My Account is Locked on: December 14, 2018, 09:48:00 AM
Am guessing you don't have access to the email used to open the account that would spore up the question that
1. Could it be you true account?
2. Did you buy it?
3. Did someone hack your account and change the email

What ever it is the forum is not to blame because you would have received a recovery mail on the email so see how you can access it
776  Other / Meta / Re: Causality of meritable posts on: December 14, 2018, 09:43:49 AM
You post history can be said to be exemplary and you have gotten good merit reward for it so you of all people should no better.

Well not to be much of an antagonist but IMO you have just created a feeling that you where only making post for the merits well either ways your post are nice

To the link you sent every merit that was awarded was well deserved you shouldn't be tripping over that issue
777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happened to AriseBank? on: December 14, 2018, 09:36:17 AM
The arisebank issues was some form of scam although I did not pay apt attentions to the news but the topic has been deliberated on here in the forum before here is one of many links

778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid asking trivial questions all for post count on: December 12, 2018, 08:36:24 PM
Making post Asking questions that the answers can easily be gotten from by surfing the internet does not pass a good reputation for the member that made such post.

It's most times are ignored by learned or knowledge seeking member but the thread becomes a paradise for spammers you get to see tons of reply underneath the post.

779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some of the options for safely storing ETH somewhere at home? on: December 12, 2018, 03:14:31 PM
Ethereum is a cryptocurrency and it's really not a physical commodity like most global currency.

It's can not be store at home but rather it is stored in an ethereum acceptable wallet. You would have to be the owner of the wallet which is on your device and its your duty to keep your password or private key to the wallet safe
780  Other / Meta / Re: Any possibility to Unban account please? on: December 12, 2018, 03:09:21 PM
Ban appeal are very much looked into if you can prove beyond any reasonable doubt that your not guilty as charged then your ban can be lifted

Well realistically it ban placed on members has always be correct if I researched well and I still stand to be corrected it has only been once that a ban appeal was accepted and ban lifted
