761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Hidden Gems! on: January 28, 2024, 07:29:49 AM
These three areas are where you would find hidden gems Defi, AI, and Memecoins if you are seeking good ROI. You would need to do your research before you invest in any crypto from those niches. No one here would recommend you a new cryptocurrency as it would look like a promotion. Go through different blockchains and find out what are the upcoming projects on those blockchains. As of now, Solana has some good projects coming up you can find details if you check their social media handles.

England inning finally comes to an end with 230 run lead, Ollie Pope goes last at 196 with rather unnecessary shot, I mean all shots that player gets out can be called unnecessary, but the back swoop he tried to play was completely avoidable.

From looks of it i'm drifting towards India to win this match, if England can get early wickets, we'll see interesting chase.

Sad to see Pope missing out of his double century by only 4 runs. The guy had put some good efforts to reach to those runs and get England out of trouble. It has been a good innings from him and now it is time for the England bowlers to defend 230 runs if they want to win the first test match. Indian batters have now a small target to chase and it shouldn't be a struggle for the batters.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 28, 2024, 05:50:17 AM
Ollie Pope got only 1 run in the first innings and in the second innings he is just short by 5 runs to get to his double century. England now has a lead of 229 runs all because of him. I hope he gets to his double century. England have now lost 8 wickets both Bhumrah and Ashwin have taken 3 wickets each. Another wicket and it will be hard for England to surpass a lead of 250 runs. Looking at the current situation of the pitch it is offering little assistance to the bowlers.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 28, 2024, 05:01:26 AM
Ollie Pope is just short of 25 runs for reaching his double century. Hartley is playing well against the spin attack and I do not see the ball spinning anymore. It does stay low sometimes which is very rare. Looks like the pitch is not giving any support to the Indian bowlers and only if the batter hits a bad ball he may get out. Hartley is batting like a pro batter, he has hit a few boundaries while batting. The current lead for England is 195 runs and it is gradually growing up, a lead of 250 runs as of now looks possible.
765  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: January 28, 2024, 04:43:14 AM
At the end of day 3, England took a lead of 126 and still 4 wickets in their hands.

I was sure that this match won't go beyond day 3 but thanks to Ollie Pope for his unbeaten 148 and still look solid at the crease with their tails who are capable of hanging in the crease longer so even if the manage to bat for the first session they will take a lead over 230 but also the possibility to lose remaining 4 wickets like what happened today.

Ollie Pope is now on 166 and he is still going well against the Indian bowlers while nonstrikers are getting out. If he gets support from the other side then he would be able to get his double century. As of now, England has a lead of 162 runs and has lost 7 wickets which is not good for them. A minimum lead of more than 250 runs would be defendable considering the batting depth of India. Bhumrah has taken 3 wickets and he might get a few more in this innings, Ashwin has taken 2 wickets.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 28, 2024, 04:31:35 AM
Pope going strong, he is on 158 and the way he is batting he might get to his double 100. While batters on the non striker end are getting out the latest one was Rehan Ahmed. England has now a lead of 156 runs but they have lost 7 wickets. Not much batting left except Pope who is still on the pitch. A lead of leads than 250 won't help England. They need more than 250 runs to defend their lead against the Indian batting.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL and XRP have the highest market capture? on: January 27, 2024, 03:42:17 PM
Have you ever imagined why these 5 cryptocurrencies are in the top? Have you ever thought why a coin like USDT, which being a stablecoin is ranked 3rd on the list of coins with a big  market capture?

None of us thought about it as it doesn't affect us personally as a single investor. The reason is that we consider us first than the market sentiment. Tether being known to be controversial has established it place because it has the trust of its users.

XRP again a controversial coin is ranked 6th after so many legal cases as again it still holds the trust and faith of its community. The same is applicable for the other cryptocurrencies.

What makes me laugh is that all of those crypto as discussed are still consider an altcoin without any significance. They are coins that will not survive long which was predicted about a time after 2017. Yet, they are alive and happening without any difficulties.

Do you think they will survive or no

768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO in 2017-2018 left the strongest impression on you? on: January 27, 2024, 01:22:27 PM
I wasn't active and never knew about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies till 2021. I won't be able to comment on the topic but I would like to share the fact that ICOs were still active at that time, which was 2019. I have never invested in ICOs as by that time they had that impression of scam. It still exist today and there are a very few who go for ICO thinking that it will give them a good profit whereas they do not.

Another great example of how a single batter can make a ripple effect on the opposition side. Ollie Pope with the disguise of not being a good spin batter has become an issue with the Indian bowlers. Where three batters from the Indian side were not able to achieve their century. He alone has made it clear that he would get where none of his buddy batters could get. Some well-established batting by this lad as he is now on the verge of getting his 150. He might be able to gain a win for his team if he continuously bats and gets to his double century as it is now so far for him if he gets his 150.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 27, 2024, 08:00:13 AM
Yesterday it was certain that the whales were withdrawing profits and throwing away their BTC quickly and now they are accumulating again and our job is that if we have funds try to buy coins that have the opportunity to exchange quickly and one of the things we see now is manta and that is quite fundamental and fast the round. because I've tried it and I'm currently trading while applying the DCA pattern for Altcoins, I'm paying it off little by little.
It is not just the whales but there are othe factors that are involved one of which is grayscale dumping their Bitcoin in open market. Miners selling their Bitcoin and Mt Gox releasing the Bitcoin's that got hacked in 2014. The market will be like now till halving and after it is over it can go to green. This is best time to accumulate more for both Bitcoin and altcoins.

What I thought will happen today. Sir Jadeja will make a century, Axar will make fifty, Jadeja-Axar will make partnership of 100 runs and India will give lead of 200 runs,

And what happens? None that I expected, not a single one.

Everyone expected what you expected but reality is different. Jadeja missed out of his 100. Axar missed out of his 50 and India were able to give a lead of 190 runs. The lead is just 10 runs shorter to you expectation. The current situation is not that good for England. They have lost 3 wickets and still trail by 54 runs. Another wicket before tea will reduce the run flow of the English team.
772  Local / India / Re: New Scam related to URL ban for exchanges in India - [Awareness] on: January 27, 2024, 07:36:23 AM
Scamming is a huge business in India. There are special places and infrastructure providers available for them. This URL ban has actually given confidence to the scammers to create a lookalike website of the banned exchange and loot the information of the common crypto users of India.
I am not sure how factual it is but I often read that there is an institute in Northern part of India where they run institute to teach courses about how to scam, hacking and anything possible to milk money from people via internet.

It is just not North India, South India and Mumbai is a big hub for scammers. If you do a YouTube search using the keywords, scammers in India, Indian scammers and scam call center India you will find more than a ton of YouTube channels dedicated to apprehend Indian scammers. India is also known globally for high-tech scams. I remember there was a time when Chennai was known for international credit card cloning scams. Most of their victims used to be Europeans. The latest Jamtara series on Netflix shows how Bihar has become an epic center of Bank scams.

Indian last batters tried their best to get a good lead but eventually the whole team was out after getting 190 runs lead. England started well but lost two important wickets quickly after lunch again. Both Ashwin and Bhumrah were the ones who go 1 wicket each. They are now trailing by only 74 runs and before tea they might be able to get those runs. If England wants to win the match they would need a good lead of more that 250 runs. The Indians have proved that they can bat well and chase any target with ease.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 27, 2024, 06:30:52 AM
Looking back at the Indian batting it seems Axar Patel should be sent before Ashwin. He could have got more runs on the scoreboard if he had someone good on the non striker end. As India started losing remaining wickets quickly the pressure of getting runs on Axar led to his dismissal. England started well but lost a wicket again to Ashwin before lunch. They still trail by 101 runs which eventually they will get, but the main question is how much lead is effective for England to either win or draw this test.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Airdrop season begun? on: January 27, 2024, 06:24:28 AM
Airdrop sessions are always there because genuine projects have a set amount of distribution for airdrops based on the roadmap for launching airdrops. Participating in airdrop projects using a special method is definitely more likely to be profitable. Participating in airdrop activities like Staking, Testnet, Ambassador, Bugs, etc. definitely gives more profit.

It doesn't matter if a project is genuine or not. They use airdrop as an opportunity to build their community and increase the community engagement. Every project comes up with airdrop to initially build a community. I don't think participating in airdrop is profitable anymore as the value of token will always be less than $5. Those airdrops that requires a qualification to be eligible are the ones that are profitable as the number of tokens depends on the activities done by individual user.

Anyone following West Indies vs Australia? A lot was talked about Tagenarine Chanderpaul before this series. But so far has has turned out to be a big disappointment. In the first test, he got out for 6 and 0. And in the second test he made 21 and 4. He has made a total of 31 runs from 4 innings. Two decades ago, Ramnaresh Sarwan had a similar disastrous tour of Australia. Tagenarine's struggles remind me of that era. Anyway, West Indies has performed better than what was expected from them so far in the second test.

I am not following the test series as the result for the second test would be similar to the first. After you pointed out that West Indies has played better in this test, I check the scoreboard and saw them having a lead of 120 rus. The first innings was better than the the first test, first innings. Anyways the outcome would be same as Australia will be able to win the second test comfortably.

After quick two wickets by England today, the fall of wickets have stopped. KL Rahul dominating the game with his bat and is in an agressive mode. The way he has been batting a half century is in the making and a century can be achieved today. India now only trail by 44 runs and Iyer and Rahul are doing great on the field.

I don't know what Ben Stokes is thinking his mind by keep bowling Hartley from one end even though his economy is around 5 which is very expensive for test cricket standard on the other side he is not giving the ball to Jack Leach who is the experienced of all three or even Joe Root who took wicket in the very first over today.

India just trail by 24 runs at the Lunch Day 2, with only fall of 3 wickets so I am guessing another 250 runs on the board is on from now on.

Ben Stokes does not have many options, Hartley is the only bowler who has been far more economical after bowling 20 overs. He is trying his level best to stop the run's flow by trying to put on pressure from one end. I feel a lead of 250 runs as lead is more than enough for India to win this test match. Our three spinners are all we need to get more than half the wickets of the English side. The ball is moving which shows the pitch is now suited for a good spin attack.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this Great Project ? on: January 26, 2024, 05:50:44 AM
Mining through cellphones, smart TVs, and computers, they were selling dreams that others tried and failed. I haven't seen any updates on the Binance x.com handle about this project. Can you provide more details about it or share the URL? Why are they suddenly shifting to AI and what exactly are they planning? It would be great if more details can be shared. Without proper information, it is not easy to think about any upcoming projects or an existing project that is in the process of changing the roadmap.

Root bowls his first over and takes the crucial wicket of Jaiswal. I was expecting him to get his century but he lost his wickets because of a stupid shot. Gill is still trying to find his form, he is not looking as confident as he used to be earlier. KL Rahul is looking more confident than Gill, being a new batter on the pitch he is able to get singles more often than Gill.
