shit, if people are going to pay him 9+ btc (even .5btc) for nothing, let them go for it.

but thanks for betting the word out. i hope threads like these die with no bids.

bear in mind we have very little proof kncminer is real besides orsoc and they are not exactly a big company.

being form NJ and being italian does make me pretty cool.

good luck with your wallet recovery. learn to use the bruteforcers. try the lists first, they are good. also ask what your little brother typed in there. was it random letters?
768  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Do not trade with UniversalTrek -- he is a scammer. on: June 07, 2013, 05:29:33 AM
I did, at this URL: http://ltc.block-explorer.com/tx/c89ab6aa3a572e2cdf7a707482a6da22899a875cb83d5ac4f42ace7378cddc2d

The address I sent from: LdpG9f7frnawY2S44qYELvQNfY36AMc8pp

His address: LN7cfF95wXXN3tau1iMJVzkVfpw3eDFpZW

Which is what he posted in his PM and told me to send it to.

No you did not. You supposed to exchange the address IN PUBLIC, not disclose them from one side after the alleged scam. As much as e have scammers around we have also people who plays victim. I am sorry but since you did not follow the guidelines and basic logic, We cannot be sure who scammed whom.

i don't know what you are looking at, but it is pretty damned obvious from what i am looking at.

please look at thread where trek is asking people to give them their private keys.

definitely not trying to scam people.

i sent you a pm, i know how these systems work and am willing to help you get out of ripple into good hard btc

if you don't want to sell to me that is fine

If you think Ripple is a scam why would you buy his XRP? Why not just show him how to sell on the market? It's easy.

to give people btc in exchange for it, and sell it to drive down the price. ripple IS a scam, it is not that I think it is.

i have given him full instructions on how to sell, but he has obviously already gotten burned by part of the process.

i think that is sad to be burned like that, and offered him a better rate than normal.

if its a scam why buy it?

my ripple address is in my signature.

i sell my ripple immediately. average time it takes is ~6 hours, and up to a day depending on what has broken that day.

like i said, we provide extreme liquidity and a trustworthy trade partner in exchange for a fee. it is quite simple. would it be more noble if we were hoarding it?

i am just doing my part to crash ripple and get the scam-currency out of peoples hands.

http://www.ripplescam.org

then whats the problem with telling everyone they can use ripple to trade xrp?

there isn't

http://www.ripplescam.org

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227754.0 example of someone that may have gotten owned by bitstamp/ripple's inherent risk, something my customers don't have to worry about. just an instant transaction with someone with a perfectly clean reputation everywhere.

are you paid to say this?

People here are being totally ripped off for XRPs.

Ironcross360 are you:

(1) Ripping people off?

or

(2) Are you paid to mislead people?

or

(3) Or are just a n00b?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

There are basically zero transaction costs to trade XRPs...
The market is pretty tight for a new currency about 100 spread, eg 6100-6200 buy/sell.

Basic instructions:

(1)  Get BTC or USD in your Ripple account via Bitstamp.

(2)  You have to extend trust to Bitstamp in amount you want... then send to Ripple address.

(3)  Then in Ripple Client go to Advanced, then Trade.

(4)  You can see the Bitstamp Order Book for XRP.

(5)  All orders you enter become part of the Bitstamp Order Book.

(6)  It's a blast to trade with zero fees...
Very DISRUPTIVE with Legacy Bitcoin Exchanges charging 0.5% to 3.0%.

bitstamp charges 3%

and during any step you can randomly expect to wait for up to 6 hours

people like me and ironcross provide liqduidity and a trusted trader (i would argue more reliable than the ripple system, given recent hacks to it) in exchange for a fee. if you don't like economics or people charging for convenience, don't use gas stations. get your pumped filled by buying barrels of gas on the exchanges.

its a joy to dump this crap currency and give people btc to help crash it.
