763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining these days? on: July 12, 2016, 03:46:34 AM
I still mine the Ethereum, even though it is not the most profitable coin. I will support the network.

I saw some people mine the Siacoin. It is a storage sharing protocol. It is more profitable than Ethereum.

it's not anymore

someone has the hashrate for a 070 with this coin? should be around 2GH with oc, but i want to be sure

1.6G@1900core with gominer, 1.4G with KlausT

less with klaust which is using cuda how so? seems strange, i see remember 2300 for a 1080 with oc, so a single 1070 should do 1800 with oc

yes i remembered well look https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/wiki/mining

not sure why, maybe because it's not using cuda8, but just cuda 7.5,
it was asking me for cudart64_75.dll library, so i thin it's using only 7.5

Whats wrong with 1.1.7?

Anyway this is the code at 1.1.6. I know I should start using tags etc...

https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/443f549e657de149f9184d440577ff31e9b39e99

Using tags would be nice.

And, what is wrong? I found this.

http://donkeypool.com/

We recommend Genoil's ethminer. It's easy, very efficent, supports AMD/Nvidia and doesn't require a extra software for stratum.
There are prebuilt binaries for Windows and instructions for building/running on Ubuntu on the BitCoinTalk forum.
Some people reported having issues with the 1.1.7 release of Genoil, if you do too please use v1.1.6.
So I'd like to compare those two builds in performance.
And Thank you for link.

Where can I find genoil ethminer 1.1.6 source code?
I cant find it anywhere on github.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1368785.0

Why did you post link to OP?

It's in that github, branch v110.

Thank you for answer, but it's NOT anywhere in there.
https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/commits/110

You mean this https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/110 ?

It's 1.1.7, I'm looking 1.1.6

Go through the history?

I don't know, maybe I'm blind, or what, but I don't see any history.
I see only commits, branches, releases, contributors, code, issues, pull request, wiki, pulse, graphs, but no history.
Can you tell me where is that history located exactly please?

History is commits. Just keep going back until you see 1.1.6.

Thank you for answer but it's not anywhere in there.
https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/commits/110

1.1.5 is named, but you're right, 1.1.6 isn't.

And it's windows compiled binary, I'm looking for source code.
It doesn't matter which version if 1.1.5 or 1.1.6.
If anyone know, where to find please let me know.
cheers.

or i have to use cudaminer with scrypt algor
i can't get x11 work with ccminer or i miss something

No you can't use ccminer x11, because Litecoin use scrypt algo, not x11 algo.
You're trying to mine scrypt with x11 miner.

I should have found ~3.5 blocks since upgrading to 1.0 but I haven't find anything. I'm not sure if solomining works anymore (or KlausT's miner) or I'm just that awfully unlucky with this coin.

Though ever since I started mining this coin, I'vee been really unlucky and found maybe half as many blocks as I should have on paper.

I've mined with 15G and didn't found block in eight days.
