761  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 28, 2013, 05:56:29 AM
I have a few concerns regarding the mailing address listed on btct.co for Active Mining - there are numerous other businesses using the same address - Dominus Consulting http://directory.thesun.co.uk/13705665, Designer Bags 1 http://directory.thesun.co.uk/10139632, Clean Air Trade Limited http://www.cleanairtrade.com/contact.html, Golden Gate http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/golden-gate, Capacity Training International http://www.capacity-training-international.com/contact.html and the list goes on.

It appears it's really nothing more than a mail reforwarder but I couldn't find this being discussed in this thread so far but there are many complaints regarding the business that used the same address - not insinuating it's the same person but some clarification would be good if anyone has already done so.

It's a mailbox address http://www.mbe.co.uk/londonvictoria

Hmmm..  If a single block erupter, for example, is selling like hot cakes for 1 btc how are these shares which are equivalent to 133mh/s @ < 0.07 btc expensive?     If we did an apples to apples pricing, they should go for 0.30 btc at least, no?

Because other users have little knowledge about it, the difficulty is rising 20% average
If you start mining on Sept or Oct the best price that you can return your investment per MH/s is less 0.00032

You can estimate your future mining profit here http://btc.re/?t=miningcalc

Hi Ken,

I Received my 5000 transfer shares on bitfunder today. Thanks!
I missed the last dividend for this, fyi.

I'll send you the missed dividends out of my own pocket.  Where do you want me to send 0.02 BTC to???

Thanks, but let AM send it, I don't want to owe anyone.

You wouldn't owe me anything.  I would be giving it to you.

It's not the amount that matters, its the obligation to their shareholders, let AM do their commitment.

Compare to other similar assets the price per Mh/s is too high now.
773  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 27, 2013, 04:11:54 AM
I transferred my BTCT shares to AMCTENDER1 as per the post #3 on July 9th... (and sent email in requested format)

I have not received any ActiveMining shares.

So if I'd done nothing I would have ActiveMining shares now?  But since I followed the guidelines I now have nothing?

Same here.

I have 5000 AMC transferred on Bitfunder last 3 days ago, and followed the email instruction also PM Ken.
Date transferred 2013-07-23 20:32:11

Missed lots of opportunities because of the delay.

I hope Ken can read this.
774  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: July 27, 2013, 03:35:00 AM
I really don't want to trade btct shares for bitfunder shares but this spread is getting too hard to resist.

I'll place a crazy 30k btct wall @ .0075.  If it sells I'll take down the bitfunder wall.  I really don't see it happening though.

There's withdrawal limits on BTC-TC. I could only withdraw 6.74 BTC, and have to wait for the rest to be manually transferred by burnside. You might want to take that into account.

Doh! Forget that then.

I hate that manual withdrawal.
775  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: July 27, 2013, 02:45:55 AM
Large discrepancy between BTC-TC and Bitfunder. Too bad I'm on Bitfunder  Cry

Yeah, how come nobody is taking advantage of arbitrage on this discrepancy?
Like, sell 500 @ 0.005600 on BTCT = 2.8 btc
Transfer your bitcoin to bitfunder, then buy 500 @ 0.004790 = 2.395

You have the same shares, but gain instant 0.405 btc profit, that is 156 weeks of dividend based on last div.

Because getting your coin through weexchange and into bitfunder can take ages, because they require 6 confirmations. By that time the price could have changed and then you have lost money

6 confirmations is an hour only.
Yeah, price could have changed, it can also get lower then you profit more.

Date transferred 2013-07-23 20:32:11

Please transfer to my AM fund.
What about the dividend for this?

778  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 26, 2013, 10:59:25 PM
So should we buy these on bitfunder or btc-tc ? btc-tc is 0.006 while funder is 0.0045 why such discrepancy?

Bitfunder doesnt have as much liquidity, so it doesnt react as quickly to news

Shareholders from btct should take advantage of arbitrage, sell their shares on btct and buy on bitfunder.
