761  Other / Politics & Society / Re: STAY AT HOME: Let us help everyone to kill the virus. on: March 26, 2020, 02:14:36 PM
Although it will help drop the cases of infected people with the virus, i still think that it will not be effective in the long term. Cause even a country manage to lower the cases of people as long as other countries has it. It will continue to spread and still the sources of its origin, unfortunately the woman eating a bat was not the origin, that's why i still think a vaccine is urgently need.
762  Economy / Economics / Re: New Coronavirus Stimulus Bill In Congress Creates U.S. Digital Dollar on: March 26, 2020, 12:46:41 PM
I dont see the difference with Digital dollar and with paypal. The only difference is instead storing it with an sql database they're putting it to a blockchain ledger. Which has no difference at all, it involves the same process only that instead doing it off the grid they're putting your money online making it much more prone to hacks along with your entire data in it.

Also what happened to Tether, so it wasn't the Digital dollar ?
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skilled trader or bullshitter? 📈 on: March 26, 2020, 10:22:28 AM
What a great way to advertise a product but what you say is quite true, we can all very much relate to this as not all people are good at trading, so we follow financial advice from people who says they can make thousands by a day. But only wants to scam you by joining his premium group even if you're not a legitimate trader with editing skills they  can act like one just by showing key fundamentals or indicators use for TA.

This type of project im interested, it could be nice if you could show us the numbers of traders and their profiles. And testimonials of success using promotional videos.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 26, 2020, 10:01:03 AM
In risky and can have wild swings in the short term perspective, but if you're looking at it's potential and capabilities it's a safe asset to invest to in the long term perspective. Especially with trillions of dollars of quantitative easing, some fiat and stocks investors will venture will a decentralize safe haven that cannot be manipulated by the Fed or any central authority.

Back a bit about freebitcoin, it would be great if they continued to expand their platform into sports betting  Cheesy Just a suggestion  Cheesy Sports betting always gets people interested, they can take advantage of it

There will probably be some developments in sport betting section.
Below is the post TheQuin made about two months ago.

We are indeed looking to add fixed-odds sports betting this year. It won't be a white-label, we'll integrate a 3rd party odds feed with our own front end.

With adding fixed-odds sport betting, I expect them to have more events in their website.

We were just about to sign a contract for a fixed-odds feed when all the events got cancelled. On the bright side if it had happened a few days later we would be wasting a few thousand dollars a month for nothing. When sports resume we should be ready to go with it.

So this is the reason why sometimes whenever im about to roll it always gets stuck and the button doesn't do anything because of the development of sports betting.

I sure hope that the virus wont affect it, some say it could get worse because there's still a 2nd and 3rd wave.
So sports events will be postponed tentatively, even US the heart of basketball, boxing and football has become the third country to get tons of infected cases.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: March 26, 2020, 06:02:01 AM

the only problem now is where they will be practicing and train since all of establishments are closed because of lock downs

That's not a problem, they should not be practicing at this time, In US the total number of people positive with COVID-19 are increasing, they have to safeguard their health and forget the preparation of this fight for awhile.

Yes especially John riel's training camp is in US, they should immediately cease all activities for practicing. Even NBA athletes the healthy ones still gotten infected. We wouldn't want to see a good fight permanently cancelled cause one of them was still forcing to practice even with the increasing numbers of infected.
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 26, 2020, 12:50:36 AM
In my perspective the only advantage that Fiat has, is it can be used for offline transactions for example if a user has no internet or electricity Cash is useful.
But in terms of security, anonymity, decentralization and doesn't require personal data, safe from germs and fast sending & receiving money, without questions ask.
Easily and conveniently in usage with only a wallet needed to send huge amounts.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best place to talk to traders that ACTUALLY know what they're on: March 26, 2020, 12:41:04 AM
In the forum you'll find tons of traders that looks like capable, well you can see their skills and screenshot provided. Mostly their in the Trading discussion section or Speculation but for me, i follow financial advice from crypto youtubers like The moon and Team underground. They have called some pretty nice shot in the Bitcoin price, they're also the best in my opinion.
769  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How is Coronavirus affecting you? on: March 25, 2020, 01:30:39 PM
In my country there's a major shortage in medical supplies and doctors are dying all around because the lack of PPE (Personal protective equipment) and some patients are not telling the truth about their travel history and health status. Also due to the Lockdown Jobs where temporarily suspended so we're a bit short in food and money. But can still survive through month though. Hope this ends quick, so we can go back with our daily lives.
770  Economy / Economics / Re: $6,000,000,000,000 of helicopter money is coming on: March 25, 2020, 01:08:29 PM
Imagine $6 trillion dollars will be put to Bitcoin it would really pump the price to $330,000. Sooner or later we'll be seeing history repeats itself which is another great depression that is much worse compared to 1933 recession. And recently the FDIC announced in twitter to not panic cash out their money in the banks because it's perfectly safe, which is obviously is not.
771  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "COVIT-19 (Coronavirus)" REAL TIME STATISTICS, GUIDELINES & UPDATES on: March 25, 2020, 12:19:32 PM
These isn't even the real numbers of the virus because not all cases can be reported. Like for example a person under investigation of a possible corana virus infection dies before they've gotten a sample to test and due to the lack of equipment they can't really find out if a person is positive or not. This is mostly in third world countries like mine, also the lack of testing centers makes it hard to immediately determine if a person is sick or not.
772  Other / Politics & Society / Re: STAY AT HOME: Let us help everyone to kill the virus. on: March 25, 2020, 12:11:33 PM
Regardless of staying at home, there are still people who violates the lockdown guidelines and the results is more people gets affected. Because people complain about boredom and to not be able to handle it much longer. I think this is very hard for, third world country's as they lack discipline. So we might need another solution like the faster development of the vaccine.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 25, 2020, 10:22:45 AM
One of the biggest mistake of a trader is to become emotional it times of market breakdown. For me, i hold unto my Bitcoins because if you truly believe in it and it's a revolutionary technology then you dont have to panic when it falls down. Once you have an eye to the price it's really not important if the price falls in the short term.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 25, 2020, 05:10:05 AM
It's possible considering the number of competition of gambling site, it's really unavoidable if someone tries to defame someone but also really hard to prove if someone is really paid to ruin one's reputation.
But if that gambling site has an ANN thread they could actually defend those claims and not all users are stupid, some will try to find out and investigate, if it's really a legit claim. That's the beauty of having a thread in a forum.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 25, 2020, 04:51:35 AM
You can't really get an only one answer because each person has different opinions and experience when it comes to gambling for some of us here, including me prefers gambling as a way to relax and to have fun with the idle money that we have especially with this quarantine. It's a way to get of boredom but for some it literally destroyed their very lives.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: March 25, 2020, 12:43:14 AM
Indeed this is a great opportunity for Bitcoin to show it's usefulness compared to Cash. Boomers will never know the difference because they dont even know how to use PC.
Cash becoming a threat to health is one of the reason Bitcoin is superior in terms of speed, convenience and secured. And you dont need physical interaction that might get you infected. Unlike fiat payments that takes days to confirm and requires all your personal data in order to send payment that can be used for "identity theft". Bitcoin only needs the address to send money fast regardless the amount.
777  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coronavirus scam email - do not donate bitcoin on: March 25, 2020, 12:22:10 AM
It's really sad to see despite all the crisis and trouble happening to world, many people are still taking advantage to it. Even WHO is suffering tons of Cyber attacks i suspect they want to sell those precious data to the highest bidder in the Darkweb and some might disrupt the research to the vaccine recently a research facility in Britain got hacked, the hackers want to put ransomware to the data.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: March 24, 2020, 12:45:09 PM
But is it possible that bitcoin will reach $ 100k? I have been holding bitcoin for almost 2 years but my target is to reach $ 20k again. It hasn't reached the end either because bitcoin is difficult to go up that high in significant time so I will plan to hold bitcoin longer and this knows how strong bitcoin prices will be to the front of it if it reaches $ 30k is good enough it will even shake the bustling world with more bitcoin news.
So whatever the whales are held in large numbers they can control the market but some still want to be obsessed with even higher increases.

With the continues fluctuations of the global economy and businesses closing or getting bankrupt and massive quantitive easing, it's not far fetched that investors and the people will eventually look for alternatives such as Bitcoin making it possible for a $100,000 price pump.
My biggest regret if it hits $100,000 is i can't buy Bitcoin during this crisis of unemployment and corona virus outbreak.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 24, 2020, 12:25:51 PM
This is only my speculation, if this virus outbreak goes on and on and throughout history a vaccine comes after 1 to 2 years of researching and testing then, it would be probably the US government as we know. They're doing massive money printing, forgivable loans, 0 interest rates. Plus the civilians doesn't follow their government guidelines to stay at home and do social distancing. I think their the first to fall and everything will follow like a domino effect.
