7601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How often do you use Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2013, 05:36:39 AM
If I had more Bitcoins to spend I'd be using it constantly but so far I've only used it a couple of times Sad lol Cheesy when I release more products I'll probably be using it a hell of a lot more, I haven't needed to look at my bank account in weeks.
7602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would increasing divisibility help the current situation? on: May 06, 2013, 05:31:06 AM
That's not the equivalent of printing money; that's the equivalent of cutting a penny into trillions of pieces.

My point is if everyone started trading with those pieces because acquiring them would be easier then the currency would be worthless because people would be only trading with tiny pieces of 1 Bitcoin, it's the same as printing except instead of creating it out of thin air everyones dividing it up amongst themselves until it will be nothing this is what would happen if deflation happened the opposite way and we ignored mathematics yet again.

Of course, one thing everyone else will be doing is looking at the numpties wondering what the fuck they're doing when they already have a bunch of whole Bitcoins to trade with in the first place.
7603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would increasing divisibility help the current situation? on: May 06, 2013, 05:27:38 AM
No this is the equivalent of printing money, I was actually pondering about whether Bitcoins being divisible by the amount it is now is a problem but I think as long as it all stays fixed it should be okay, it's when you decide to let it happen infinitely people will be able to just divide up coins constantly and it would have the same affect as printing.

Trust me, any currency that decides to have infinite amounts and be constantly changing will fall under it's own weight in enough time, just like with paper money.

And you are allowed to have sex with a 17 year old, but if you take a picture of her you are suddenly a child pornographer. If you send her the picture you just took you now have committed the crime of "producing and distributing child pornography" even though it was completely consensual.

There is so much ignorance around this topic it's ridiculous. It's weird to be standing on the outside looking at this moral mass hysteria in action. Kind of makes you think the human kind hasn't really progressed all that much after all since back when "witches" where burned.

Heck I'm even feeling it myself, kind of like I'm obliged to add a "PS: I'm not into CP"  disclaimer just to voice my opinion. That shit proves my point right there.

Don't even get me started on how the femi-nazis who put out these laws are blatantly biased against men, as if men or boys can't be victims of this sort of thing as well, it must have been this thread but lately I've been getting angry again at what you correctly describe as mass hysteria, the people who make these laws love using innocent and naive girls to give these laws legitimacy.

I was around 13 when I started thinking about women in a sexual way, to think girls don't get the same feelings and desire at that age as well is just fucking naive.

Not being suspicious of people who take on more than 2+ loans that are quite big.
7608  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin: Believer, or not on: May 05, 2013, 02:37:23 AM
Where's the 'I believe in Bitcoin but I think it's probably going to be superseded by something better' option?
7609  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Poll: How much does it cost Butterfly Labs (BFL) to build a Jallapeno? on: May 04, 2013, 11:07:41 AM
That's actually pretty interesting, didn't know about this video before.
7610  Economy / Economics / Re: FED refuses to return back Germany gold after an failed audit on: May 03, 2013, 10:16:18 PM
..... there are a bunch of countries with receipts for gold from the NY Federal Reserve. In fact, there was this small but vocal group of people in Germany that kept calling for their government to get their gold back, or at least an audit for God's sake. Finally, the Bundesbank heard the voices from this small group and has asked for a sizable portion of their gold back.

I think that brings us up to date on where were are in this story.

....And the Germans were refused.  Why?  The FED didn't need to refuse, they have lots of money.  THey can print money and buy gold with it.  So why couldn't the Germans see, audit or take their gold?

I think there's a crime here.

The Federal Reserve and many central banks like it have to this day engaged in fraud, extortion, blackmail and price fixing since their conception, they have always committed crimes, the only difference is, they don't go to jail for it like the rest of us would.

That's why I consider these people to be passive-aggressive jealous types usually Deego because rather than complaining about the idea of trading in general they're just complaining about the wins they make, I could empathise if they thought trading in general was a waste of time but they usually don't and I don't think it's right to judge people for what they do in the first place and I try my best not to.

Does everyone believe what I was saying about explosives being more dangerous than guns now? They're also a lot easier to assemble Cheesy

But seriously I fucking hate these people, the sooner Bitcoin puts them out of business the better, every time I think about giving them the benefit of the doubt something like this gets posted up.
7614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just had to get this off my chest: on: May 02, 2013, 07:07:24 PM
The problem is you're using the word fair what is fair for you isn't going to be fair for other people, at least in this system everyone is going to have a chance of earning the same amount of Bitcoins in the future because the limit is supposed to not change. I'm pretty sure if you or anyone else bitching about this sort of thing were in the exact same situation you'd be pretty pissed if someone just decided to take millions from you it's just because people don't have the amount they somehow think it's okay to do it.
7615  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v0.8.3 NEW) on: May 02, 2013, 06:54:04 PM
For those who want to know I found the source of the problem and for whatever reason the store decided to work when I set my permissions to 777 a lot of weirdness going on there but it's working as it did before now.

Edit: I also found changing the folder name of the shop fixed things

Whilst I don't begrudge the people who have a dick load of coins, when compared to the rest of the world, I don't believe it's "fair" (but I also can't propose and alternative)

I was going to have that whole philosophical argument about taking other peoples money without asking and so on but then I noticed that most of your post seems to be variations of "It's not fair I wanted it first" lol every one of the people listed could have put some of their money in Bitcoins and saved up like other people have. I'm sorry but people like you may not begrudge people for having lots of Bitcoins but you certainly do begrudge them passively aggressively.
7617  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Digital Goods, Necklace for sale! More to come! on: May 02, 2013, 05:46:12 PM
Bumping to inform you all that since there was no offers I've decided to just name a price myself, making another post to tidy things up a bit from now on, message me or post if you want to purchase, I'm happy to do escrow as this will be my first time selling something physical. The chain for the necklace is unhallmarked silver, the jump ring is sterling, there is also a fine silver setting and a round Amethyst, for now I regularly get all my stuff from www.cooksongold.com who are trustworthy when it comes to the metal and gemstones.

Cubic Zirconia Purple Necklace - Gemstone is set the other way round to normal: 0.7 BTC/23.6 LTC - 1 in stock

Postage is free for UK customers, postage cost depends on where you want to ship it internationally.

7619  Other / Meta / Re: Implement a appraisals thread under Marketplace > Goods? on: May 02, 2013, 05:30:04 AM
It was awhile ago so it will probably be lost in the depths of the forums by now.
7620  Other / Meta / Re: Implement a appraisals thread under Marketplace > Goods? on: May 01, 2013, 09:53:05 PM
I made one but hardly anyone responded and I've asked people on my thread to take a look at my necklace and appraise it but it seems you just have to set prices yourself lol Tongue
