what about Dubai?
A few dozen pages back, it was hinted that he had to flee Dubai for unclear reasons. It's all very hazy as he's publicly dropped off the radar and has gone incommunicado.

really? I need to read up lol. no to dubai, but who confirmed he's back in the us?

I believe it was jonah/miaviator. Something about homero being rescued from dubai and shipped to texas... Then again, I may have missed something as well.  Wink

7623  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Giving up on the Trezor soon. on: July 06, 2015, 02:26:44 PM
I think the guys behind Trezor should consider making another batch of those metal Trezors.

Maybe a 'Limited Edition' run of say a 1,000 units or something. I'm sure they will be sold out very quickly. I know I will get one, or two, or....  Grin

I agree, and I knew they had a batch in the beginning, just hope they do another run of the metal ones... Cool pic above. Wink

When I ordered my Trezor I was actually expecting a METAL one since all the rewies state that it was metal. The Trezor on their website was even Metal made....I got a plastic one. USB cable broke after 5 minutes (literally)
I don't even wanna try to see if it's water proof as they say.

I love my Trezor even tho there's been a lot of headaches and miss guided advertisements.

Yeah, a lot of the reviews are outdated, they are all plastic now. The usb cable is crap, but at least it's standard, so it's not that big a deal to me....

I have never heard of the waterproof claim. I don't believe it, at least not for the plastic ones and no I'm not gonna try it out either! Wink
7624  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Giving up on the Trezor soon. on: July 06, 2015, 12:37:30 PM
Not a big fan of the plastic build-quality of the trezor and the crappy USB cable broke very fast on me too, but otherwise, best-behaving and trusted wallet so far, I may have to get another one - I do hope they improve the quality, I would like it to be metal instead of plastic! Wink

I thought that trezor is made from some high grade quality plastic, like thinkpad T/X laptops or guns and not from some low-cost one..I'm potentially interested to buy one, but build quality is quite important to me..can you please share little bit more?

I suppose the plastic is above normal quality, but it doesn't feel like it's anything too special. Like I said, I would prefer some type of metal case, but they don't make one. Overall though, I do think it's safe and very easy to use.

Rumour has it and from good place the owner of BTCLend is involved

Involved in what? Owning khs or whatever in this scam? All the hashtards became scryptards to recoup their losses. look at the state of affairs. it's been evident for quite some time.

edit - just looking for whatever connection you have about this, thanks. Wink
Involved as an owner not a customer

Well shit, sorry for  your loss. Sad

7627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: July 05, 2015, 09:44:27 PM
He's obviously skilled at coding and could set up a web server with a time delay mechanism timed to release proof of his identity five years after his last login to it. If he had an accident it would reveal his identity five years after his death. He wouldn't have to trust anyone and could obfuscate the code on the server to prevent anyone with access to it discovering his identity.

This is just hilarious, thanks! Wink

Bernie Madoff did it for quite a bit more than two years.

It works because.. well, greed. More money comes in than goes out - until the reverse is true, it can go on forever basically.

From what I've read here, there is no real mining. Therefore, it's a scam or ponzi or something not so legal.

Do you have a better explanation?
7629  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Circle Deposit on: July 05, 2015, 06:27:09 PM
If I deposited $500 into my circle account with my bank, and it takes about 5 days to process and be added to my account, will I be getting $500 worth of bitcoin at $255 (where it was 4 days ago) or $500 worth of bitcoin at $275 (where it is now). If it is the latter, that's ridiculous.

What exactly did the email or confirmation page thing say? I think with coinbase, it's the price at time of buy, not later. Not sure about Circle, but would assume the same. sorry. I am sad to see the price climb so fast as well, as I just bought a few things.
7630  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trashy retarded Power trip U.S.A is a problem for most other countries. Destroy on: July 05, 2015, 12:50:06 AM
Time for foreign countries to unite against the evil of the world. U.S.A.  I think most can find common ground to form an alliance at this point.  Please destroy the evil shit country.

Edit good luck you'll need it . We are bigger than you. Count on it. Wink

Buy or sell monero ?
Tell me.

Do what I do and listen to the voices in your head.

Hmmm.  Waiting on a consensus, or at least majority.  Damn voices.  Can't we all just get along?!

I believe as saddambitcoin always says, it's always a good time to buy monero. Wink

Are all you Scryptards still happy with Marcello using YOUR funds to pay HIS losses back?

They must be. He's still 1/4 of a million dollars ahead of the ongoing withdrawals -

7635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 03, 2015, 10:03:10 PM

You are missing the point.

The withdrawal came directly from the new investors funds. That's a ponzi right there. Get it yet?

Get the circle jerk sperm out of your eyes to see better.
The site contains a market in which 100's of bitcoins change hands everyday.
This has nothing to do with mining.
I sold 80 BTC worth of KHS earlier today and withdrew 50, it didn't come from the new hot wallet.
But if it did, it makes sense since it was BTC that someone just deposited to buy my KHS.

You can apply whatever fucked up logic you want about it, but the block chain is not lying, man. BTW, khs is not on the block chain, so try to find a better theory that actually makes sense.

7637  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scrypt.cc is provably lying about their 850GH/s Scrypt mining on: July 03, 2015, 09:25:14 PM
it's beyond me how some of you still think they "haven't lost anything yet". truth is, scryptcc ponzi collapsed and they won't come back.

won't come back... so what do you sey if I told you that site is back and I've made a withdraw of 0.3 btc recently?

I do not agree with you guys that scc is a straight ponzi, because:

- it's running almost 1,5 year
- sill withdrawing
- many ppl roied

But, as you said, 850 ghs is a ridiculus scale. There are also a lot of red flags, so to be honest I recommend investment below your pain point. I did this and.. I almost roied. I get back 79% and I've got still my first ivestment in khs. so.. ponzi, not pozni - just have fun Smiley

If you're greedy, you lost at the beggining

Hmm.. New funds paying out old investors - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=444495.msg11783964#msg11783964

Ponzi?  Huh

I will buy whatever your willing to sell at spot value and pay a few extra dollars for shipping for U.S. shipping costs.  Would you be willing to mail first to save on escrow fees?

Normally no but for you sure.

Ok great, which coins and how many are you willing to let go of for spot price?

Define spot price just so I can be sure we are on the same page lol

I'm sure he can define it faster, but I found this helpful - http://www.jmbullion.com/investing-guide/pricing-payments/spot-prices/

Example, here is their current spot price for silver - http://www.jmbullion.com/charts/silver-prices/
