The funniest thing is that the price is starting to slowly rise again Cheesy
7722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Press center on the website - looking for volunteers on: April 19, 2013, 02:55:52 PM
Akka! *runs before she kills him* Cheesy

Rule 30.

Also, I'm already on the mailing list.

*or is this just a coincidence and you didn't mean me?

And of course, I would love to contribute more, but I'm not an IT guy and honestly, working with github goes a little bit over my head.

Well that's embarrassing.... Either that or you're messing with me >_<

But seriously, what about the guy who was talking to the news about the Bitcoin ATM? He'd be very good I think.

7727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate me too much, but I think litecoin is superior to bitcoin on: April 19, 2013, 08:35:18 AM
I'm all for currency competition Cheesy Don't see why we can't have both Litecoin and Bitcoin, what I don't want to see is paper money still being widely used in the next few years, I do think there are problems with Bitcoin compared to Litecoin but they'll either get fixed or something even better will come along.
7728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get BitCoin noticed in your town... on: April 19, 2013, 07:11:08 AM
Use all the money you made from Bitcoin to buy up all the billboard advertisements and put up advertisements for Bitcoin businesses Tongue
7729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What kind of Music do you listen to? on: April 19, 2013, 06:04:35 AM
I'll listen to anything really, lately I've been obsessed over Dawn of War music and Two Steps From Hell >_> Lol Cheesy I've also found this composing software Sibelius 7 and now I've decided to mess around with that whenever I feel I don't have much else to do.

7732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UK Exchange Website on: April 18, 2013, 10:56:22 AM
Honestly, I've been looking into this and I think it's a question only a professional financial advisor could answer, so far I haven't really seen much of anything from UK politicians about this, that might have something to do with how they all seem to be above 50+ in age and barely manage to use twitter never mind have any knowledge on digital currencies.
7733  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Digital Goods, Coming soon Jewellery! on: April 18, 2013, 09:04:40 AM
I just thought I'd tell you all in advance, I have a bunch of gemstones coming in which I'm going to set in claw settings and turn into necklaces, they'll be put up for sale once they're finished.
7734  Economy / Economics / Re: mtgox is breaking bitcoin + a proposed solution on: April 18, 2013, 08:35:20 AM
What you are suggesting is akin to price fixing and market manipulation, this isn't what Bitcoin is about, if you don't want an unregulated market, stick with the paper, the exchange isn't the problem either because people are either going to start new ones or find the others.

7736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you plan on purchasing in the future with your bitcoin? on: April 17, 2013, 09:00:45 PM
I have many plans, but first thing I'll do is buy myself a really nice desktop and laptop Tongue
7737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teresa is going to get a visit from the IRS on: April 17, 2013, 08:53:09 PM
The best part is if they try to seize the computer she has Bitcoins on they won't be able to get at her money and she technically won't owe taxes guys because Bitcoin is entirely seperate from the state, the only way they could get it would be if they legalised it and played by our rules which would then mean of course the dollar completely crashes and the central banks lose their power. I think more of us should try and go as purely Bitcoin as possible because if we start trying to play along with everything they do then there's no point in having Bitcoin in the first place.

If they want my money, they're going to have to play by my fucking rules now.
7738  Economy / Economics / Re: Cupid dating site accepts Bitcoin on: April 17, 2013, 08:41:06 PM
Never a fan of dating sites myself even though I am single >_< I suppose if it's getting absolutely everywhere we can't really complain though but I do want porn sites to accept Bitcoin so I can buy it all anonymously troloollolollolol Cheesy
7739  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how much BTC would you trust in a blockchain.wallet, how long should passord be?? on: April 17, 2013, 03:47:28 PM
10 Bitcoins at most for me, then the loss wouldn't hurt so bad but honestly I don't trust the safety of anything that's on the internet, it's always safest offline.
7740  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Antisocial Network (Krugman on Bitcoin - hilarity ensues) on: April 17, 2013, 03:34:43 PM
I don't think there's any need to suggest Krugman is stupid based on this.

He is a thoughtful man and a recipient of a Nobel prize for economics, you might disagree with him and think his theories are dead wrong- but being wrong is different to being an unsophisticated thinker. Let's be mature about this.

Like most neo-keynesians he has repeatable gaps in his own logic and when win he can't win a debate by pissing off the opposing side he decides to act snide and patronising instead, that is unsophisticated thinking at its finest, in fact, sounds a lot like the way a religious person acts I think.
