781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: July 05, 2017, 06:09:19 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

yeah it's true because payments from cryptocurrency is very high than payment from real job
maybe this is a reason people leave their jobs
This I will agree the bitcoin is paying more money to compare our real job salary. But just depending on Bitcoin money is not right. Now we can make a good profit, but we don't know what the future of Bitcoin is. So safer side we have to go for the real job. Suppose our bad luck the price drops then what we do? So never quit your real job.

Depending only on bitcoins for income is a big risk as you never know what will happen to bitcoins in coming years and right now we may think that we can earn higher in compare to real job but if price falls in future then our income would be below our expectations so its always good to keep bitcoin as a extra source of income.

I will agree Smiley. Bitcoin as an extra income is great. As the main source of income is risky. Has anyone in the forum tried to resign from work permanently to earn BTC?

I'm guilty of this. Grin
It happened to me that I resigned from work because something happened to me so I need a rest. Good thing my friend introduce me to bitcoin. This whole thing made me survive in everyday life and Im earning decently. And for now I dont have plans in returning to my work.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 04, 2017, 10:21:39 AM
There's no such thing as " instant " in getting rich unless you won in the lottery  Wink
Being able to be rich is not an overnight work. It takes all the hardwork but this will be all pays off. Sometimes you lose and thinking of quitting but you still manage to continue. As a bitcoiner this is all what it takes to have some decent life, not easy but so much rewarding.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2017, 10:09:47 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

Just leave them. Actually I pity them for not liking bitcoin because they just missed the amazing part of bitcoin. But when things turn around that maybe one day they change their mind I still willing to teach and show how btc works. How btc can change someone's life.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: South Korea to Legalize Bitcoin!!!! on: July 04, 2017, 09:49:39 AM
If you were to actually go ahead and read this entire thing you'd see that everyone who uses these cryptocurrencies are now going to be under the view of them the government and open to regulation, this isn't something that we want in the least. I'd rather be in a gray area when it comes to where my business is rather then them being able to just go right ahead and tax my crypto and my business into oblivion.

They even made a cryptocurrency / digital currency task force which is simply going to be able to impose regulations on us, this is a horrible day for us.

Precisely sir. This news is not so good for me. They setting some rules to mandate the tax from bitcoin. All the transactions of bitcoin enthusiasts will be under them to monitor. The anonymity will be lost sooner not later. Hope in my country will not legaliize or regulate bitcoin. Just leave bitcoin to us. This news will bring pros and cons to the community.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 04, 2017, 09:30:56 AM
I heard bitcoin just last year from my brother, he told me that he earned his money from bitcoin. Although he's just a college student he still manage to buy his things and leasure so I was too curious about this. Then the rest is history. I hope I just known bitcoin earlier but I think I was never too late for this.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: July 03, 2017, 01:44:05 AM
On the one hand, they are needed, but you can do without them
Simply there needs are much in most of the time. We can say banks are providing worse service, but the same is not happening with the every banks. Also people could have never grown to this extent in financial aspect if banks were not available. So in my view that play a big role in growth.
Banks cannot be trusted and relatively are a slower way to make any transaction. Bitcoin on the other hand is one of the fastest way to secure and make payments with p2p (peer to peer) method It's confidential among two parties and nobody can steal this currency in anyway.
Precisely when you make transactions with someone within the scope of one country. Banks are the primary choice to send money. Because the transaction is very instant When you click the send then the money is already in the account of the recipient. Better than bitcoin #imo
And I think the bank is protected by the government. So pretty safe

We don't like banks but in fact we need them. We don't like them because sometimes there's a glitch that is happening like unauthorized widtrawals and other stuffs. But I think we should admit that somehow we also need them, how can we convert our btc to fiat if we didn't use banks? Online wallets are not so secured and when it gets hacks its all your liability and there's no way to get back your coins while in the bank and if this happens there's a possibility that you can recover what the hacker got from you because bank will be liable in what you lost.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 03, 2017, 01:25:03 AM
Why choose such a bad name?  DIM = not bright = not smart
DIM stands for Data Interchange Module. It is mot about brightness or what and this ICO has great marketing team it will be successful in cryptoworld.

That guy is a joker. Grin
This ico has a great platform that the investors will look at the crypto world. Many invested here because they seen this as a potential coin in the future and no doubt about that. More way to go to this big project.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: July 03, 2017, 01:08:12 AM
Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

I prefer both.
Offline wallet for your huge amount of coins. Also acts as  savings account. Safe and much secured from being hack. Just save in your hard drive, it'll be all set
Online wallets for your everday transaction. Storing few coins will be better, just enough for your needs.
I think both are convenient to use.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 03, 2017, 12:51:42 AM
Nobody is asking me, but I had a conversation about ransomware the other day and they seemed to had a general idea about Bitcoin and that it was used by hackers.
My family isn't following the price of Bitcoin, so they don't really care. It's the same with stocks. A company could go up by 200% in a week and we wouldn't know or care, because we haven't invested anything.
Indeed. Nobody is asking me what bitcoin is and I think why people not asking me because they don’t have any interest in bitcoin. In addition to that, they also don’t know that by using bitcoin you could earn and make money. I hope someday some people will ask me about bitcoin and I will tell to them that bitcoin is very useful.

Nah. Like you too nobody ask me about bitcoin. I don't know if they're just shy to ask me or they are afraid of me  Grin
Well if anyone got interested in bitcoin and they ask me I'll teach them the basics and how this forum works and that's all. Not to the point you spoonfed them. I thinks it's better when you explore yourself into different things.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Resurrection of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 03, 2017, 12:27:23 AM
It'll never happen. The moment Satoshi shows himself on here, the price will crash. Fears of him selling off his stash will spread through the community.

I think the identity of Nakamoto is really a plan of whoever invented it. The more it become mysterious the more mouth will be open to talk about this. Pseudonym makes him/her/them popular. I think wether he/she/they show up or hide it will all be the same because bitcoin established itself to the market so it didn't have some impact in the price.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 03, 2017, 12:10:38 AM
Cash are much preferred by other countries because some countries don't have a fast and reliable internet connection. They can monitor there money in the banks easily  Easy to understand since it is what they use eversince. Accepted anywhere. Here in our country, no stores accept bitcoins yet

Yes not all countries are good in technology and does have reliable internet connection. Cash is still preferred as there's no finger print that can be traced if you want anonymity. Bitcoin also is good when your transaction is offshore and you are far from the other party. But why you will take a look at each other and choose only one if you can enjoy both.

Precisely my friend. Why choose when we can have both. Let's say bitcoin will be additional currency for us. You can use cash, bitcoin, atm and credit cards. As long as we have many options the more it get better. Cash is much more convenient to use, it is use more than years ago and I think it would never be replace by anything by any chance. A lot of factors are mentioned here in the the thread and it's all embodied cash.
792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: July 01, 2017, 12:13:57 PM
I have lost money when I panicked during trades. So I have stopped trading as well as panicking. To be honest I can't control my emotions while trading the money. I use to put more stakes to get my investment back but it never happened with me. Whatever I got while panicking was loss and loss. I tried to keep it calm but I was impatient always so I better left it before I can get bankrupt.

This usually happens when you got panicked. You made decisions without even thinking what will be the consequences of your action.
Everyone gets panic of course coz' we're human ( unless you're not Grin ) it's all natural to us.
Well atleast to you @sirfrowsiter, I think you've learned your mistakes through your experience. Never get panic. Stay calm as long as you can stay calm. Then think what's the best thing to do next.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: July 01, 2017, 11:48:09 AM
due to technology improvement and the spread of internet one day or another there will be no more need to use papers, everything will become virtual. take credit card as example, 50 years ago, who would think that we will use a magnetic card to pay bills or buy goods!!!

Nah I don't think so.
Yes credit cards are created and widely use, cryptocurrency is growing and had been talking by many but it's not yet enough to replace real currency by these. It would be better if cryptocurrency will just add in our currency. Like an additional currency, so we have a variety to choose from to what we comfortable using. It's the least we can do.
794  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you have 10 bitcoin !! on: June 30, 2017, 09:14:51 AM
Hold, hold and hold that is the best thing to do with bitcoins and spend them only if you need money desperately and if not then better to keep them safe in wallet for the future as price is low at a moment so there is no point in selling them at a moment and you can also invest some of them in trading if you have an ability to take risk as it can grow your coins much faster then your expectations.

Yes I'll better hold my 10btc. This is something and huge amount for me. Hold until it gets the sky rocket price. Its too risky but I think it will all worth it. As long as I can be hands off to my btc I will not touch it. If that will happen, my 10 btc will be such a big help for me.
795  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will be back in $1,000 ? on: June 30, 2017, 08:59:20 AM
Its another common scenario on the part of bitcoin, and besides we already seen bitcoin price goes up,then goes down and suddenly it will go up again. Dont worry its not even a panic selling.

Yeah I think so. But going too low like $1000 will never be happen. Btc already hit $3000+ so I think if there will be a downfall it will just only hit $2000. And nothing to be panic, its just as normal as our everyday lives.
796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to buy bitcoin?? on: June 30, 2017, 08:17:54 AM
Precisely. This is a chance to others to buy bitcoin as it constantly dropping. For some they'll take this to buy and to be part of the community. Others are waiting a big dip, to drop to below $2000 but I think it will never happen again. That era had ended. Well these are all my speculations after all.

I bought few coins yesterday and after that price has started to go move slowly so I think that was the good decision taken by me and now I will simply hold my coins and will not buy more and will sell when it hits the price of $3000.
buying bitcoin in current position is really a good decision, the price are trading for a long time in that position and i think the reason that is that people are not letting it down any more and therefore we can expect that very soon the price of bitcoin is going to boost again this time it is not going to stop on 3000$ but will continue increasing its price for a long time. so investing in bitcoin in current position will be a good decision.
797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold on: June 30, 2017, 07:54:01 AM
I sold about 10% of my stash. I'm not sure whether the bubble has burst or not, but I decided I'll take some profit (bought at sub $100). We might see $5000 or $10000 in the next few days, but I'm pretty sure the price will go down to $1500 (or even lower) at some point in the next few months or next year, and that's when I'll buy more. If that doesn't happen then it's fine, I'll invest in something else.

What do you think of my decision?
Selling only a partial amount of your holdings for profits is really a good idea instead of selling the whole volume and then regretting when price increases.I have seen many people selling whole of their stocks either when price gets down or increases and then feeling that they could have partially sold.

Indeed a smart move. Selling some part of it is a must. Others sold all their coins just to make a big profit but didn't turn out to what they think. Not being greedy with the outcome but sometimes we better think as many as we could when trading and investing. So congratulations to you mate for your sure thing move.
798  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 on: June 30, 2017, 07:40:56 AM
Just be patient it will eventually go to 3k or maybe higher

It already goes higher than $3700 last May when Japan implemented btc ,the demand for btc were skyrocketed. The pump hype were too fast that day and in the morning it dumps little by little, i'd been watching the price that time suddenly going $2000 .

Could it possibly mean that if the Australia legalize bitcoin this coming month would the price of btc will hit again around $3000?
If that's the case, better hold our btc. After all, good things happens to those who patiently wait.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 30, 2017, 06:52:00 AM
Yeah I think in the future bitcoin will going to be useful for many people.
It's price will be really great in the future, so I think it is good for retirement.

Nah, not really. Even if bitcoin price will increase after many years, the cost of living will also increase. Never settle for anything less, your 1btc will not be enough for living even you're in a third world country. Right now better to invest more btc it's safer for your future.
800  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: June 30, 2017, 06:08:37 AM
Well I'm currently using coins.ph coz' it's more easy to use like just one click away. Very convenient and trusted. And yeah I can convert my btc into fiat without any additional fee. Also I'm starting to use myetherwallet. Hope it will turn out good.
