It would be nice to have a task force dedicated to root out the scammers and punish them accordingly. They give crypto a bad name and all the governments now are cracking down because of them. The current police force have no idea what is going on let alone how to sort it

I think it will recover quicker than June. It is usually down at the beginning of the year as people recover their finances from Christmas and Chinese New Year. At the end of march the next bull run will begin. New pay check means more investment in coins

I'm surprised the mods haven't deleted this thread yet. The last time these sorts of coins were introduced i.e. edash, emonero, ebtc the mods just deleted or banned them. I guess the next coins are going to be vergecash etc..

Italy is part of the EU so they will have to follow their rules. If the EU doesn't crack down on it and i think they won't, then Italy can do what they want. As they are heavily in debt, i'd be surprised if they didn't tax it, or at least float their own coin to prop up their economy

Everything the john mcafee has tweeted about is dropping to the floor. The days of coins being pump by a single tweet are over, better if he doesn't mention it! Doge is not dead however, just taking a nap before the market recovers.

I doubt it would ever drop that low, this has been once of the biggest bear markets ever with bitcoin and all the alts crashing like crazy these past few months. It will rise slowly upwards, you can get some cheap eth now or pick a fast rising coin instead - NEO

I don't think it will hit $300 this year, but has the potential to reach that number next year after further development. $100 is a possible target for december 2018 as the community and marketing are strong enough to compete with Monero and it could become a high ranking coin

I think it is stablising right now at a new floor, but will rise up in the next few weeks. The January pay check is the recovery income while the February and march salaries are for investing. Give it 3 more weeks and there will be a start for the next bull run.

Do some research on WAGERR and decide yourself. Masternodes will ensure there is always demand for these coins (think DASH), profits from betting will be burned so scarcity will drive up the value, and it's just launching the mainnet so it's all ready to go this year!

Do what everyone else is doing which is to hold NEO in your NEON wallet and claim free GAS tokens. If you don't want another wallet then you can use the binance exchange which will claim the gas on your behalf and it in your gas wallet on binance

Sad to say but it looks like the fudders are winning right now with former investors dumping like crazy. All alts are down but this is even downer. Can we estimate when something solid will be released to quieten these fudsters? Days / weeks / months?

I think it would be more beneficial to post more information about the coin and what it will do. Perhaps a website link, or where we can acquire some. Will it be used to buy vegan friendly products or just a coin with a vegan name?

Ethereum is a bloated blockchain which doesn't scale well. ETC is an unwanted fork with limited development. If you want the coin of the future go for NEO which ICOs are already switching to.

I think this is one of the reasons that deeponion will suceed, the community and marketing team are very active. There is a lot of working going on behind the scenes that surprises many people, this is just one of many. Definitely worth getting some cheap onions right now as privacy coins are gonna be big this year

Coinbase has already confirmed they will not be adding ripple so someone is just spreading false rumors to raise the price of the coin which has dropped a lot from the previous FOMO high. It already pumped and is too high based on the circulating supply, any rise will be modest

I think it all depends on whether they will deliver on their roadmap. It is very ambitious as there aren't any privacy coins that offer smart contracts so if they can deliver on that then yes i agree it will be a 100x coin. Being on cryptopia is an OK exchange, but if as they say it will list on bigger exchanges later this year, then yes it will be very rewarding for hodlers.

There appears to be a lot of FUD appearing in altcoin discussions and unfortunately people are starting to believe it due to the open source nature of github, and the fact that there are few commits and they offer very little in terms of actual development. Maybe people are realising that there are better alternatives and they are getting in early before they moon. Ethereum has already shot up last year so this year it will be the turn of other smart contract altcoins such as NEO and LISK. Momentum is already shifting to NEO right now, LISK will happen later this year
